We are a husband and wife couple who decided to choose a holiday full of fun and relaxation.
This resort is able to offer everything you need with the All Inclusive formula.

Starting from the welcome at the reception, the first applause goes to the staff who are responsible for imprinting with the structure. The kindness and hospitality they showed was perfect. Just what you expect as soon as you take the first step.

Proceeding towards our room I must say that the tree-lined streets and cleanliness reign supreme. A very lush vegetation cared for with heart and love by the team of gardeners who are always attentive and never clumsy in caring for the greenery.

The room, which recently had a new look, is truly welcoming, given that we chose the location with an adjacent private garden, we were also very satisfied with this small private corner of relaxation which, like the rest of the park, is surrounded by pleasant flowered hedges. Although the position of the building was set back from the main services, I must say that the resort, although very large, is at the same time very compact and therefore we did not perceive any type of dispersion of spaces.

All the rooms of the resort are tidied up and pampered every day by different teams of collaborators who are very attentive to the needs of the customers and never prying.

Arriving in the central area and therefore in the beating heart of the resort, we were immediately welcomed by the person who will later also be the soul of your entertainment, the entertainment staff. NEVER and I repeat NEVER intrusive but at the same time always present to make you feel at ease in every situation, from a coffee at the bar to a dip in the pool. The ability to develop such meticulous entertainment in all its facets is really difficult to find in these types of resorts. A very close-knit team that cares a lot about the quality of their work. The strengths of this animation are: hospitality and time to dedicate to anyone, great empathy towards families and children, expressive ability on any type of stage from the bar to the evening stage with great qualities from everyone.

It's time to refresh yourself at the central restaurant. Here the entire catering staff reigns supreme. From the kitchen brigade to the dining room brigade. No one has ever disappointed our expectations. The buffet dishes are always fresh and unique. A wide choice of dishes from starters to desserts. The menu repeats weekly.

A special thanks goes to our Maria Concetta who gave us special attention during the hours of her shift, as we also saw given to the other guests of the resort.
But I must repeat again that people who love their work are easily identifiable; by what they say, by how they move, by their determination, by their resolve, by the way they face difficulties.

This 4-star resort truly offers a vast range of entertainment, with attention to every detail. The management of the Bluserena group will certainly be fully satisfied with the enormous commitment and dedication of all the staff of its resorts & hotels
.
I apologize for my long-winded side but after all, if something truly positive has remained imprinted it must be expressed in the best possible way.

The village is very well looked after, cleanliness, order and respect for guests are at the center of the activities. Checkin was quick and very clear, the room was perfect, clean and tidied up daily, the staff was very friendly. The web application which data is accessed approximately 24 hours before the stay is complete and provides all the information for the stay in detail. The very well-kept green spaces, the well-stocked bar and the very friendly bartenders... I remember Angelo who creates top-notch cocktails. The well-kept central square, with some games for children. The swimming pool is very clean, the deckchairs and umbrellas are new and of excellent quality, the wet attendants are very patient and present: I underline a very positive note: the rule of not leaving the deckchairs occupied (with unattended objects) is strictly respected even beforehand. of the opening of the swimming pools and this means that even the rudest customers understand the respect. The central restaurant is well organised, waiting lines are normal. The seat is already reserved, no waiting to take a seat. The dishes are diversified, plentiful and of high quality. The entertainment is top, never intrusive, present and of the highest professionalism. The guys are very helpful, they have natural care for the guests. The evening shows are fantastic and live up to expectations. The daytime and children's entertainment is excellent, the number of entertainers is adequate for the number of children. Excellent fitness and team games. The beach is well equipped with a very efficient bar. A place with two deckchairs and an umbrella is immediately reserved. The presence of luggage storage and changing rooms is excellent, allowing you to end your holiday using the services even after the 10am checkout. In my opinion one of the best facilities in Sicily. Definitely a holiday that "stays".

Wonderful experience at the Serenusa Resort at the end of the summer season. We stayed in bright and tastefully furnished rooms, always with the utmost attention to cleanliness and attention to detail. The restaurant equally pampered us with abundant lunches and dinners, prepared with great kindness and top quality ingredients. In our free time there has never been a shortage of relaxation and entertainment activities, according to everyone's tastes. I have personally tried various water sports, followed for each of them by a trained instructor. A more than positive stay, definitely to be repeated.

The ownership has changed and it shows. In a negative sense. Our room did not have a chest of drawers but only the wardrobe rod. Really uncomfortable. Also no soap bars but only liquid soap; I prefer the solid one. The rooms have been repainted but the bathroom has remained the same.
As for the restaurant, they have seen fit to reduce the number of tables inside and place the remaining ones outside covered only by a garden umbrella. Obviously with the heat that is notoriously hot in Sicily in August, eating out there during the day is a pain. The manager didn't think about putting in fans/humidifiers or external air conditioners. If you want to eat inside there is a supplement to pay; obviously they cannot satisfy all requests. Then on a windy day we had to take turns eating inside since the umbrellas were closed.
During our stay, dozens and dozens of bees also flew and landed on plates and glasses; my daughter was stung. Again, the manager did nothing, leaving the solution to the problem to the diners and waiters. Some placed bowls with honey to lure them away from the tables, some sprayed them and some ate standing inside.
The restaurant staff did what they could but you could see they were understaffed. Maybe a couple more people in August would have made cleaning the tables easier and reduced the stay of the bees.
In general we had the feeling that the management was saving on everything. Before there was a familiar atmosphere, now it is just part of a package sold with the logic of profit maximization to the detriment of customer attention.
Luckily, there are some staff left to keep the place afloat, trying to plug the leaks caused from above.
The entertainment is good and the lifeguards are courteous apart from the young man who watches the pool where you swim: really unpleasant.
It's a shame because after many years we have been going there we had expectations about the new management which really disappointed us

We are not casual visitors of resort style hotels but this hotel reminds me why is so.

1. Despite the reaction of hotel itself about language expertise I had difficulty to get somene to understand me except reception. I ended up waiting and carefuly lookin at the bar when the one that atleast understands english shows up.. and being ignored several times. i definitely do not recommed visiting when you do not know italian.. It will literaly destroy your experience

2. I bought this reservation with all inclusive package because I didnt want to walk around trying to find best place to eat with my pregnant wife. But waiting 25minutes for 2dc of coca cola here in peaks was far away from insane. not saying about time limitations of they called all inclusive package. When you have to pay for everything after 9pm - 3.2e for 2dc not properly filled beer. Tap water
Is not drinkable according instructions and they will not provide bottles of water after you drink the one we found in the room. So basicaly at night you can go 300m for closest bar to have fresh water or fill your own bottle during day which is against rules.
We love italian cuisine and we are visiting Italy atleast twice a year but I would say it was below average.

3. Everywhere you can find information about how ECO they are trying to be. Which from my perspective is only when it saves operational expenses, like cheapest toilet paper etc :). When you want to be ecological start with waste separation at least oh my god. Every drink is served in 2dc plastic cup.. because lack of english i was not able to get bigger cup so we as many other guests ended up with requesting multiple counts of drink.. because of insane waiting times Ive seen people taking like 20beverages served in plastic cups. And of then mixed with the rest of the waste.

But for sure location is beautiful :)

Response from Bluserena SPA, Altro at Serenusa Resort
Responded 19 Aug 2022
Dear Guest, we regret to read that the stay was not up to your expectations, however we express our point of view. Within each department there are English speaking staff. At "peak" times when most of the Guests are present in the restaurant, it can happen to wait a few minutes to be served, but the waiting times are never excessive. Our staff monitors these times and does everything possible to minimize them. As clearly indicated on our website, catalogue, price lists and conditions of stay attached to estimates and confirmations, the Extra Formula includes basic cocktails (chosen from specific menus) from 17:30 to 19:30. Excluded are other cocktails (or requested at other times), champagne and spirits defined special on the bar list. The Extra Formula is the result of various organizational and commercial balances, and is appreciated by our customers. With a view to total transparency, the Bar price list, in addition to being displayed on site, is published online in Bluserena GO. Prices are online, and often lower, than those charged by our competitors. For obvious reasons of hygiene, we always ask our guests the courtesy not to fill the bottles directly from the dispenser. Our restaurant provides show cooking and a rich, varied and quality buffet, whose menu is also available online. The many years of experience of our Chefs and the raw materials of undoubted quality guarantee that the dishes proposed are excellent. In the season 2022 the vote Catering detected through the "Pagelline" compiled in writing by our guests was equal to 8.3 out of 10. In any case, the opinion of our Guests is fundamental for us to motivate us to do better and every report is taken care of by the department of competence. By business choice, as clearly indicated on our website, catalog, price lists and conditions of stay attached to estimates and confirmations, in the main bars, drinks are served in glasses 20 cl. We hope to have you again our guest, certain of being able to improve your judgment. Best regards, The Serenusa Village Management.

I think Serenusa Resort in Agrigento is truly the top of the Blu Serena resorts. My teenage children aged 15 and 10 had a lot of fun with the entertainment suited to them. Good and competent entertaining entertainers managed to create wonderful situations for them and for me this was already worth the holiday.... There were lots of kids and they put on nice, fun and exciting shows every evening, a round of applause to Max, a very nice guy (OLÉ who was he will understand them😁).
The position is enviable directly on the sea (which can be reached with about thirty comfortable steps). The beautiful, colorful and well-spaced square umbrellas. The sea is always beautiful. The beach bar does great coffee and top notch ginseng. On the beach there is a very nice restaurant that can be booked through the blue serena go application. The central restaurant was full (mid-August week) it was all a buffet but everything was really good. Meat and fish roasted every day, variety of good first courses and pasta and rice always al dente. A little less good desserts and slightly creamy ice creams but this is a matter of taste! Variety of starters and side dishes but always potatoes for the happiness of the children and mine too.... Sicilian evening at the top, delicious arancini and desserts truly divine on that occasion.... Then there is the Il Gusto restaurant which can be booked again through the application, it is a gourmet restaurant where we ate and drank very well and we also met the chef, a very young Neapolitan boy but well versed in gourmet cuisine. The rooms are all close together and all close to the services. There were 2 story blocks with a lift and one story blocks without a lift. The rooms on the ground floor have a small garden while the first and second floor rooms have a small terrace, they are comfortable, quite large, have air conditioning, TV and mini bar. In the bathroom there is a dispenser on both the sink and the shower. I recommend bringing only bidet soap. Furthermore, in the rooms there is a drying rack (without pegs). The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. I was in block 4 on the second floor and my rooms were always at the top. Daily linen change and waitresses always available and smiling. The care and cleanliness of the common areas was perfect. The central bar served around 1650 people throughout the village and clearly during rush hour there was a bit of chaos. There were queues but it was all bearable given that we were on holiday and none of us had urgent work appointments.... In conclusion, WONDERFUL HOLIDAY

I stayed in this resort in the week of 20-27 August, therefore in a period of maximum crowding (around 1600 estimated presences).
Nonetheless, we found great organization from every point of view: we had no queues at check in, we had no problems with the catering, with an assigned table and the possibility of choosing whether to have lunch outdoors or indoors. The only difficulty we encountered was booking the restaurant on the beach and the typical restaurant, where we were unable to do so probably due to their small size and the presence of guests with plus agreements.
The strong point of the structure is the great cleanliness not only of the rooms but of all the environments, open and closed, the care and maintenance of the greenery, where nothing is left to chance. Great attention is paid to every detail, such as the sea boxes in sealed bags with single-portion containers, all in recyclable material, the same goes for the take-away lunch.
The food is plentiful and varied, the quality is satisfactory. The breakfast is very rich with freshly cooked crepes and pan cakes.
Another strong point is the entertainment, made up of professionals capable of giving very entertaining shows and high-level musicals every evening.
The beach is equally well maintained, with sufficiently spaced umbrellas. The sea is very suitable for families with small children, with shallow and sandy seabed. It is not among the most beautiful seas in Sicily but the water is clean, the coastline is not crowded and in any case there are enchanting beaches a short distance away.
We can therefore say that the resort exceeded our expectations, and Bluserena passed with flying colors, especially because it was tested at the moment of maximum influx.
We would like to give only one suggestion: it is a structure favored above all by families with children. We who have a 16 year old boy found that, despite the crowding, there were quite few peers. Nonetheless, thanks to the various sporting activities offered by the village - first of all the tennis course - and the entertainment at Serenhappy (which could be a little more proactive for the kids present), there was no shortage of fun.
Highly recommended facility.

I state that my family and I really love Sicily and the holiday in Village / Resort, we have two sons aged 17 and 14 and we also travel with other friends who have a daughter of 15: for them finding friends and having many activities to do is fundamental and allows us adults to rest. The Resort has many strong points: very long beach for those who love walking, beautiful sea, nice and spotless rooms (the cleaning ladies are good, smiling and polite) lifeguards really smart and attentive even when the sea is rough. The beach is very well maintained: every three by two clean sun loungers and walkway.
We love the sea so the plus is definitely the beach restaurant Le Onde where the meter and the staff are fabulous, the dishes at the sea are fresh there is not the first, but many salads, always fresh fish, fruits and vegetables of all kinds, We chose a formula that allowed us every day to book via link the table at the sea, very ingenious service. Also good restaurant il Gusto. As for the general buffet, I would say decent quality, after all the people are many, the chefs try to create menus that can satisfy. We had dinner out for 15 days, we do not like the air conditioning and the indoor room that seems more 'a large canteen and I must say that you eat discreetly, always fresh fish and excellent Sicilian evening. After all, we did not even use the pools because we love the sea, we do not go on vacation to stay in the pool or indoors....
a true praise to animation because shows so beautiful, you don't see any! it seemed to be at musicals in Milan. Andrea has a team of excellent professional guys, Giada a force of nature even in water aerobics, Nasci (is that how you spell it?) and Giga very good, sailing the head sail Marco very helpful and excellent sailor. Tommy, the guy who ran our children Giulio and Tommaso was very nice and our boys enjoyed it so much (among other things beach parties, theme parties and tented camp on Fridays).
ah, I can't forget the gardeners: every single day pulling weeds, mowing the lawn, tending the green.
To improve the reception: some girls are unfriendly and awkward and you know that the reception is the calling card
to improve even at the beach put at least two taps to wash standing more '.
Recommendation as trips the Valley of the Temples in the evening and Caltagirone
as extra sports activities: tennis (Giulio had 14 days of class at 11 was very happy) and functional after yoga, which is good if you eat a lot at least you don't feel guilty:-)

We have been Bluserena customers for 8 years, 6 of which were spent at Serenusa.
We returned again this year together with other families of friends and relatives with very high expectations linked to the recent news concerning the structure.
From the moment we checked in we met people we knew who were leaving and who complained about everything and everyone, but despite everything we gave little consideration to these stories.
The cleanliness of the rooms and outdoor spaces is always at the top.
At the restaurant you start to notice the change....
The quality and quantity have nothing to do with that of the old management, empty trays never replaced because they ran out, some second courses of meat overcooked and dry... in previous years we were used to gourmet dinners with wine at the table and oysters on the buffet , not even the shadow of all this.
In the morning you had to wait up to 20 minutes for the correct ones to be restocked, but when they arrived they were cold, almost out of cardboard, something that had never happened in previous years in which the croissants were baked in sight, always hot and above all available at the counter.
The guys who manage the counters at the restaurant are slow, incompetent, some even arrogant towards the customers who wait in endless queues while they laugh and joke about their own business (starters' department) in general all without a minimum of experience!
Excellently equipped children's play areas.
Beach and pool service always excellent, thanks always to Pepito and the others for their impeccable work.
At the bar, congratulations to the two Angelos for their skill and professionalism.
Let's go to the animation, which animated little or nothing...
As for Enzo Polidoro and Max Miele, they are really good but they only saw each other in the evening for the shows in the amphitheater and after lunch for 4 little songs, really very nice but they could certainly have done more!
Contact entertainers no longer exist... gone are the years of Franck in which all the entertainers who took care of entertainment were always among the customers.
Beach and pool activities were only group dances, no games as happened in past years, no aperitif games, the entertainers weren't even present, the only one you could see was Danilo who played music for the dances but nothing beyond that.
Silence disco evening abolished, before there were evening parties with hot croissants and spaghetti now none of that, the disco no longer exists, just under an hour of dancing in the nightlife after which everyone goes to bed.
Here is the change of Serenusa, from village to resort it has changed a lot but for the worse and to the detriment of customers who pay a lot for services that are worth little.
Never again Serenusa!

1. Non-existent customer focus.
When a heavy portion of the ceiling in the room of two friends collapsed (fortunately without anyone getting hurt), the reception staff shrugged their shoulders and literally laughed. No expression of apology, no reparation for the damage and inconvenience suffered.
The entire organization reflects a strong desire to save money by taking away services and comfort from the guest: for example, unattended luggage storage, insufficient housekeeping, improvised and largely insufficient staff.
Support changing rooms for departing customers are not ventilated, have no windows and are definitely unusable due to the humidity and suffocating heat. Is everything in order?
2. Cement galore.
The rooms are largely located in buildings with three floors.
More similar to city buildings than to accommodation in a resort costing 200 euros room/night.
3. Nightmare check in and check out.
Check in at 4.00pm and check out at 10.00am.
When you wake up on the last day, even if you still have a day of vacation, Serenusa will throw you out early in the morning.
At ten o'clock sharp the key to your room is deactivated, even if you still have your bags in the room.
If you are coming back from breakfast, stay in the corridor like idiots, wishing they would open the door for you to leave.
Luggage, in effect, seized until someone listens to you.
I can't say what kind of strategy it is: intimidating, coercive? It certainly makes you not want to return.
And to say that upon arrival, on the first day of vacation, they let you whistle into your pipe until four (four!) in the afternoon.
Patience for inconveniences and inconveniences.
3. Nightmare kitchen.
Trust me, terrible, cheap food, really.
Very limited choice and poor quality.
The restaurant is in a single room for hundreds of guests; company canteen style, noisy and crowded. If you look hard, you will find Fantozzi and Filini queuing for a plate of chips.
In the evening, if you don't want to repeat the lunch experience, you have to look for a restaurant in the area.
4. Inadequate pricing.
What the Serenusa offers you, in qualitative terms, is worth - perhaps - half of what you pay (in May/June 200 euros per night for a double room).
Money badly spent; in Sicily there is certainly better for much less.
Not a good look for Sicilian hospitality.
