We stopped overnight in our motorhome enroute out to the east coast and we were very impressed. Camp ground is tucked away in park like setting, plenty of space and trees, very peaceful. Cooking, laundry and shower/toilet facilities are newish and are well maintained. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, definitely would stay again.

We were recommended to stay here and we were certainly impressed. Probably our favourite camping ground! The prices are very reasonable, location surrounded by trees and a flowing river. The facilities are clean and homely.Great showers too! There are toys available to keep the kids busy. A real gem!

Perfect facilities for us, good showers, clean, tidy and well stocked kitchen and very well priced. Friendly owners. We even had a campfire 😍 Well maintained tracks all through the beautiful bush. Nice little camp spot! Shame about the weather but they can’t control that 😂

If you visit here make sure that you keep an eye on your belongings, there are thieves about, a friend put a birthday cake on top of the fridge to be used at dinner, disappeared within a couple of hours don't think it was another camper. Is pet friendly but if you have a dog that doesn't like cats make sure that you have them well under control as there are cats just wandering around. When I raised this issue was told that it was the cats home and I had to keep my dog under tighter control. The kitchen area is okay but has lots of miscellaneous toys just scattered about, old scooters and manky stuffed toys. Have been coming here for a few years and the quality of the site has definitely dropped.

Great campground! Good facilities with full equiped kitchen, hot showers and clean toilets. Only coat us $20 (for 2) for a powered site! Very friendly owners. You can come to campground and setup anywhere you like, the owners will come during the afternoon to collect money. We enjoyed our stay here on the way to Wellington. Will be back for sure!
