The camp is right on the beach with fabulous views also of the lighthouse which is lit up at night.
The facilities are very old but work well and are kept very clean. The staff on the office could not be more helpful. Including moving our friends so we were next door to each other

Apsolutey fabulous holiday park . We only camped but the views were amazing , facility’s so clean . Showers hot and owners so welcoming . Enjoyed our stay and will be back !

We stayed in one of the two family cabins and had awesome views of the beach and lighthouse. We shared toilet and bathroom facilities with other cabin and couldn't find fault. It was what we expected for the price we paid. The kitchen had all the microwave, oven and cooktop, big fridge/freezer we need for our stay. Reception also was a breeze. Gretchen at booking was very helpful. Will happily book this place again. Good place to relax for families when you just want to cross beach from your accommodation.

Very disappointing. The unit was not clean, the bed smelt really bad, in need of a deep clean and the pillows needing replacing, they were disgusting! Not pleasant smelling someone else's unclean body. A bit cheeky asking to clean the kitchen and do the dishes before leaving for an overnight stay that was not cheap. It was a bit windy, and the unit was very noisy from the wind, not well built. Being the only accommodation, I guess they can charge what they want for substandard accommodation. Would not recommend or come back, we would recommend staying elsewhere and making a day trip to view the point.

Can't fault this place. The location and facilities are excellent. We had to use two different types if room and both were better than we expected with amazing views and super comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and really helped to make our stay really enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thanks Megan and Richard for all your help.

We were camping for our second time here this year. Love the camp layout. Facilities very clean and kept tidy. Great place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. Kids loved the sand dune sliding too. Make sure you take a boogie board (or 2) for this.

Stayed just the night in a self contained 1 bedroom unit. Stairs to unit. View from balcony of beach and the lighthouse. Could do with some modernising, but all the same, nice view. Had our own food supplies as we knew beforehand that the local dairy closes before dinner time.

We recently stayed for the weekend, the unit had everything we needed and loads of space. Full kitchen and your own laundry and bathroom. Two singles in a separate room and a double in the lounge. Tv with Freeview and DVD player. Room was nice and warm and not very quiet. Staff were very friendly and were able to help us with New Years booking. Amazing walks and the beach is stunning even when windy there is always some where to relax.

Stayed here for one night in a self contained unit, very clean and spacious. Basic utilities but everything we needed. Bed was comfy (we bought our own bedding). staff were friendly. Parking right outside the unit. Views were amazing! Shame about the weather! Thankyou would stay again

My partner and I stayed here stopping off travelling through the North Island. The cabin we stayed in (No. 9) was very comfortable and clean with a stunning view straight down the beach and onto the lighthouse. The cabin was well priced for what it was. Overall a very positive experience.

I think you have got the wrong idea of the place, it is a holiday park without a restaruant. There is a restaurant just down the road and it opens 2 or 3 nights a week.
