Very nice and accommodating owners. However, make sure you understand how remote this property is with nothing close by. Long distance on gravel roads from famous caves. Large cottage is far from the charming main house. Furnishings, layout, cleanliness--not up to the amount

Unbelievably beautiful views of the rolling hills. Our last day when the sky cleared up, we could see miles and miles of green hills with mountains at the backdrop cos the lodge is perched on a high ground. The owners have impeccable style and furnished the house tastefully.

Hi Deborah Thank you for your email. Yes you can dine at the "Huhu Cafe/Restaurant" in Waitomo Caves Village(30 mins drive), The "Stoked Eatery/Restaurant" in Te Kuiti (20 mins drive) or the "Night Owl - Bistro Bar" in Piopio (15 mins drive). Depending on which way you are driving from or at what time , you could dine prior to you arrival to save yourselves extra traveling. Look forward to your arrival.
