We had unit 2 which had a beautiful new bathroom, comfortable bed but no outlook and really tight parking. We were woken up in the morning after a big night at a wedding, by the owners upstairs and in the adjoining door downstairs. Expensive for what you get. Being in the industry we have a good handle on pricing!
We were disappointed and felt it was pricy compared to other beautiful apartments we have stayed in the coromandel. We had unit 3. Very small bedsit living and bathroom. Car parking is very tight and would be difficult with a big vehicle. The location was good being close to shopping centre and beach but not enough for us to make a return visit.
Thought it was excellent , was large and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the comforts of this unit. Everything handy to restaurants and cafes. nice walk to beach and excellent meal at the local club, the meals were first class and you should make sure you take a visit. Well done team. What a beaut place. The room was all that wifey have ever wanted....after a day of fun hopping into bed and listening to the ocean was the winner. This will be the place of choice to lay our heads on our visits to "Whanga" Thanks La Dolce Vita you have a great spot no noise and clos to everything.
Excellent spot. Close to everything . Quiet. Great accomodation - cosy and warm. Fantastic communication with everything from booking to letting us have a late checkout. Would well recommend to all. Would stay again
Nice room, clean and tidy, with heat pump, microwave, toaster, jug etc. Clean well appointed bathroom with all you need. Close to town centre. We were very happy with our stay, highly recommended, happy to stay again. Thank you very much.
Lovely quiet rear unit (no neighbouring guests that night). Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Loved the Turkish towel for the beach. I appreciated sitting out on the little patio in the afternoon sun. Karenza was very welcoming and helped me out. The TV wasn't working but it didn't worry me. Whangamata beach is fantastic.
Had a lovely studio unit out the back with en-suite all amenities for a nights stay and a comfy bed, did a beach walk in the morning after packing up ,later checkout than most 👍parking is tight but if you in a corolla or smaller no issues. Would definitely recommend
We stayed here for one night in one of the smaller rooms out the back. Free parking around the back which is quite tight, not suitable for larger vehicles. The room itself was tidy and had a fridge and microwave, kitchenette with cooking utensils, tv and couch etc. and of course a toilet and shower via a sliding door. The bed was comfy and no traffic noise however there was a light left on outside that shone through the wooden blinds. There is a note advising guests to leave a couple of windows open for ventilation and to reduce condensation but this still occurred. One of the windows above the sink needs some attention. Its only a casual 5 minute stroll to the beach and a few minutes more than that in the other direction to the main shops. All in all an OK stay, a little too pricey for what it is though.…
Top marks to Karenza for great communication, cleanliness of the facility and extra little touches that made our stay so welcoming. It was in a great location, so handy to beaches and shops. Only motel on our 6 week tour around the North Island that we have been supplied with beach towels. Other times we have had to request them.
