Decent place to stay within half an hour's train ride from the airport, without paying high airport hotel prices. The room is basic and clean, and has all the usual things you find in a Japanese business hotel. Breakfast is better than most business hotels with a good variety of foods to choose from.
The hotel is only 10 to 15 min walk from Sakai Station. Exit at the South gate. From stairs, turn left then right, straight ahead until you will pass Comfort Hotel (right side), police station (left side) and taxi stand (right side). Then left and right turn. On the traffic light turn left. The first building is the Hotel Sunplaza Sakai Annex then our destination Hotel Sunplaza Sakai. The hotel lobby is open until 10pm only but they will leave your hotel key to Hotel Sunplaza Sakai Annex. The front desk speaks Japan Language only but polite. The room is small but good enough for travellers who always on the go. The bathroom is small but clean. They have a nice shampoo and conditioner. They have a good food for breakfast like salmon and mackerel. If you watch movie on TV, you need to pay extra charge. They have vendo machine inside the hotel and free wifi. Negative: Sakai is not included on JR Pass. The tourist attractions are far from this hotel.…
