What a lovely place to stay. We were in the cottage so no option on the breakfast, but the facilities were fine anyway. Ash met us and showed us around, very friendly, and after that we didn't see either of the hosts as we were "out and about" but Ann-Marie managed to catch up with us as we were leaving. Short walk into town, so excellent location, very happy
This is one of the nicest stays I have ever had! A lot of thought, effort and love has gone into this business and the results are stunning. Beautiful room in quiet surroundings, everything from the bed to the shower gel was perfect. Ann-Marie and Ash were glorious hosts. Can't wait to get back there. Thanks guys!♥️
We absolutely loved staying at Karamana Homestead. The property offers unique accommodation with lots of interesting touches from Coromandel’s past, as well as all modern conveniences. Beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the location was great. We received a very warm welcome and our hosts were absolutely lovely. Can’t wait to come back!
We stayed here for two nights and it was a fantastic property, heaped in history with all sorts of old artefacts dotted around the property. When we arrived we were welcomed and shown round. The rooms are very comfortable with very good facilities in each room (en suites/tea coffee etc). there is a nice garden that you can relax in, but also you are within walking distance of the town (maybe half a mile), but far enough away to have total tranquillity. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice beautifully laid out. We would definitely recommend this B&B.
We were very lucky to have been able to stay at Karamata Homestead for a night in December. Ann-Marie and Ash are brilliant generous hosts and we benefited from a delicious dinner and excellent breakfast in the elegant dining room. Aah took us on a gold panning adventure and we were instantly rewarded with real gold in the pan! What excitement. The room was furnished with antiques in keeping with the age of the property and it was a privilege to be able experience staying in such an historic and interesting place. We cycled here on our ebikes and there is a secure place for the bikes under cover. We had an excellent stay and hope to return one day.
