We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Judy and Gerard were perfect hosts. Room was super comfortable and warm during the cold winters' nights. The breakfast table was absolute heaven; big shout out for the homemade bread, lemon curd and marmalade. We would recommend Jacaranda Lodge without hesitation!

Felt welcome from the time I arrived. The room was spacious, clean and the bed so comfortable and warm. Picked up take out in town and had it in the dining area, watching tv and with a wood stove burning. Very quiet, best sleep I have had in a long time, including my own bed at home.

It was definitely the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks trip to New Zealand! The place is extremely peaceful, surrounded by nature & fruit trees. The room was cosy and we really felt like home during our stay. Judy & Gerard are lovely hosts and their breakfast (everything homemade and/or from the garden) is heaven for breakfast lovers ;-) We would definitely recommend Jacaranda Lodge to anyone coming to the Peninsula!

We stayed at Jacaranda Lodge for 2 nights but wished we had had much longer! It is a lovely house, in a very peaceful setting, and we received a warm welcome from Judy and Gerard. Our room was beautiful, on the ground floor and opened onto a little patio in a corner of the garden. Breakfast was an absolute treat, everything was homemade, and it was served on the lovely terrace overlooking the garden. We enjoyed a walk around the property chatting with Gerard, met the donkeys and had great views one morning of the New Zealand Kingfisher. When we left, we said it had been our favourite place to stay so far ...... It retained that position right to the end of our trip!

Judy and Gerard are wonderful hosts who do a wonderful job of making their guests feel welcome. Breakfast is amazing. It's all home made, and mostly from items grown on their property. The setting is lovely, and it's a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a holiday.
