Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Good breakfast served at 7.30 till 10.30, very comfortable bed. Room no 3 had a view of the road and could see horses and dogs early in the morning. Friendly staff with a smile. Although the room was not cleaned everyday there were enough towels. Parking is free of charge. Plenty of parking spaces although it could be difficult to park late at night. The stairs are steep not very good for old people. Although there is no kettle in the room there is a kettle on the ground floor where you can help yourself to free coffee. There is a supermarket nearby. Above all it is a very quiet hotel.

A cosy little dog friendly hotel near the sea. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but big enough for us and our dog. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was a little outdated but nevertheless worked perfectly. There was no problem having our dog wherever we went in the hotel. Even in the dining room, dogs were allowed. We had a nice view from our window of horses in a huge field. Breakfast was plentiful for us, although we did hear other guests moaning that there were no sausages or scrambled eggs. All in all we had a lovely stay in this little hotel. We were just a short walk to the sea and although it was windy when we went there, we had lovely walks with our dog. Just one supermarket in the area and a handful of restaurants. Most of those on the beach were closed. The restaurants were expensive. We preferred a lovely cosy restaurant "Klein Zwitserland" on the market square opposite the church. Lovely atmosphere and meals. All in all we had a wonderful few days in theis quaint little town, and we would go there again.

The apartament we stayed was small but clean and well equipped, with an seperate entrance, the rooms on the upper floor are also small bud nice. Staff is great, breakfast was great. The beach is near. The only thing is it's sometimes hard to find a parking spot in front the hotel.
You have several bars, restaurants and a market in the village so you are pretty much covered with everything you need.

First, the purpose of our stay at this hotel. We were taking ferry to Newcastle the next day. Needed lodging the night before crossing. We arrived by train from Amsterdam. How to get to hotel? I talked to taxi, $15-$18 one-way. Humm, looked and saw bus stop. Went and talked with bus driver. City bus to hotel area about $3 for two, including luggage. Took bus to Wijk aan Zee. Got off where bus driver said. Look across open field, there is hotel. Easy. Also took bus back to train station and did a transfer to ferry the next day. Was easy (and a bit unnerving).
First thing to share is location. The hotel is near beach area. Huge beach, worth the visit, a couple of bars/food on beach and between beach and hotel. We were pleased with our stay. We could have easily dropped $50+ in taxi fares. Buses were less than $10.
Lodging: hotel is quiet and buses run regularly. Owners helpful and the morning breakfast (included) was fine. Free Internet.

Stayed at this B&B for a night. Located centrally in Wijk aan zee. Room was small and a bit dated, but everything worked OK.

Breakfast is continental buffet style. Owner is friendly and let me store my luggage in the room after departure. Wireless internet is also available for free. There is a fridge at reception where you can get beer/soft drinks etc for decent prices. There is also a bar but it was not open in the winter.

Overall a decent stay for less than 50 euros.

Hi, There was a breakfast buffet. We went down at various times. If I remember rightly from 8 onwards but could be earlier. Some people were coming down at 10.
