The hotel is nice as a budget accommodation. We stayed in the hotel half-term October. We travelled every day outside of the area so can't really say much about it. There was not a lot to do in the hotel itself - there was some entertainment weekends only and hotel is not located walking distance to any of the towns. You need to have a car to find entertainment (or hire a taxi). There is quite nice beach though. The outdoor swimming pool was open as well as indoor pool and jacuzzi. Water was quite cold - around 26 degrees - but I think they just turn the heating on.

The hotel staff speak a little English and we had more smiles from the cleaning and maintenance staff than from the front desks. Of course this is generalisation as there were lovely individuals but overall we felt a bit ******.

The breakfasts ware very limited in choice of food. Very standard egg, bacon and beans + some ham and occasionally cheese. Nothing special. Dinners ware more appetite appealing. More choice and taste very good. I can only personally complain on the lack of sweets selection. I was counting on chocolate cake at least :) We choose half-board and had to pay for drinks (0,5l water 1.30 euro).

The rooms very standard with double beds and nice balcony. We ware located with a nice sea view and the pool. Very nice surprise.

We are overall happy as we did not pay much for the hotel. Only a bit disappointing we had to pay for parking 4 euros per day.

I visited this hotel as an “all inclusive “ guest with a group package holiday .
To start with the positives ; the hotel was very clean with clean towels and bed linen provided every day . All the rooms appeared to have stunning views of the beautiful beach which appears to stretch for miles and is part of a nature reserve. The walk into Guardamar takes about half a hour and is along the sand .
Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives .
The hotel is very large with over 500 rooms and is very busy and noisy and appears to be popular with Spanish people .
The dinning room was crowded and loud and a “free for all “ with queues and people bustling about trying to get a plate of food !
The food was always cold and after complaining we were told this catered for the Spanish taste as they liked cold food.
Although there were a variety of dishes available most appeared of poor quality.

If you enjoy loud crowded places and queuing for things , this is the place for you !

The rooms were clean and equipped with a small TV with limited channels for the British traveller . There is no sound proofing between rooms and you can hear your neighbours every move !

The beds are large but very hard and uncomfortable .

There was very little entertainment and as the hotel is in an isolated place most evenings you were left to create your own activities .

The lounge seating areas were noisy and uncomfortable and similar to sitting in an airport lounge. If you want a relaxing holiday venue , this is not for you. Your best bet is to take a tent and camp out on the beach !
I would not recommend this hotel to any age group and will certainly not repeat the experience .

Dear Dave, We appreciate that you share your comment and we are glad that the cleanliness and the views from the rooms were to your liking. On the other hand, we inform you that our dining service is carried out by buffets in which we expose the food above 65ºC, according to the regulations. If someone wants the food with higher temperature it can be requested to the kitchen or use the microwaves available in the room. Our facilities are appropriate to the type of holiday hotel that we manage for the use of leisure and recreation. Entertainment activities are announced both, in English and Spanish, and we invite all Guests to participate. We also offer live music in both languages several times a week, external shows and special for children. Anyway, we regret that it was not what you expected. Best regards, Juan Fco. Rubio Director

Very clean and friendly hotel. Had great views from the balcony on both of our visits to this hotel. Ample breakfast buffet and great value accommodation. Larger than the hotels we usually stay at but acceptable. Rooms can transmit sound a bit.

This hotel is beautiful although the 4 nights we stayed I couldn't wait to get home the food wasn't great so although we was all inclusive we ate out mostly it's a lovely but long walk to the centre but a bus does pick you up outside hotel for 80 cent the sea was warmer then the pool and the indoor pool was nice but you have to wear a swimming hat. Now the rooms are lovely and clean we had a massive bed. They are very generous with there drinks here but all in all this hotel was in the middle of nowhere had I known I would of hired a car or summin we was very bored throughout the holiday I wouldn't recommend for young couples or families

large hotel. Rather remote. It was off season in October, so the bus to Guardamar was only running on weekdays. This was annoying as it took my short legs 30 minutes to walk to town. The resort has one shop, for groceries, which opened at tea-time. The hotel has clothes shops and a hairdresser, and dispensers for water, drinks and snacks, and some medical supplies, and baby food. .Mainly Spanish guests, who can be loud. Some evening entertainment, which is in Spanish. Lots of daytime activities for kids, but the crew speak little English. Positives- small but nice room, with air con. Varied foods, and although it was geared to Spanish tastes, I could always find something to eat. Microwave to heat up the food. Huge and noisy dining room, especially on weekends, as there are influxes of families, on weekends. Good indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Great sized outdoor pools. Still bearable temperatures for swimming, although the sea was warmer. The beach and café are so near at hand. The beach is long, and goes on for miles. Be prepared for much walking, or cycling, or hire a car.
