Had a wonderful stay at Ona Las Brisas. Was recommended on a forum and looked at some YouTube videos prior to booking. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. No 24. Was really impressed how well equipped the apartment was. Travelled with our one year old and they provided a high chair and travel cot (requested) Staff were really helpful. Bus station next door and supermarket opposite. 5 min walk to the sea front, restaurants and bars

Hi Gemma! Thanks for your awesome review. 🤗 Thrilled to hear you appreciated the well-equipped nature of our apartment, especially when traveling with your little one. It's great that the provided high chair and travel cot met your needs. Our team always aims to be as helpful as can be, and it sounds like we hit the mark for you! Plus, having the bus station and supermarket, so conveniently close must have made your stay even more comfortable. It's always a bonus when the seafront, restaurants, and bars are just a short walk away, isn't it? Come back soon! Take care, Ona Las Brisas

We've been staying in this resort for the last few year from December through to mid Feb. Its got every thing we need. Comfortable 2 bed, 2 bath accommodation, full kitchen, TV & Wifi. Large patio with BBQ though we didn't use it but other visitors do. The villa is surrounded by peaceful gardens and this is a gated complex with a very good clubhouse and restaurant. Close to the bus station, supermarket, shops, restaurants and a short walk to the promenade, beach and ferry crossing to Fuerteventura if you fancy a day out.

Another wonderful stay at Las Brisas. We arrived and were given Villa 37, which was very close to the road and noisy. We complained to the lovely lady in reception and she said as soon as another villa became available she would move us. True to her word we were moved after two days to villa 26. The management always go out of their way to help, if they possibly can. We enjoyed our 10 night stay, wonderful weather, food in the restaurant was excellent as was the entertainment. We will be returning next February for a month.

We've had 2 wonderful stays at Las Brisas with RCI exchanges. This time, with no RCI exchange available we went as paying guests. Sadly, our experience this time was a disappointment. We love the location close to Playa Blanca centre. We also really like the bar and restaurant. We were very unhappy with our accomodation. We booked 7 days in a 1 bedroom villa followed by 5 days in a 2 bedroom villa. We were allocated villa number 2 for the first week on the corner between the main highway and bus station. Very noisy with constant smells of truck and bus fumes. We asked at reception for something further away from the road but nothing was available. So our hope of a quiet week eating and relaxing on our terrace didn't happen. On changeover day we were told to wait in villa 2, until our new villa was ready to move into. We went to reception twice during the morning to check on progress and were told that we would receive a phone call when it was time to move. I assumed that this would be on my mobile because there was no telephone in the villa. Sadly I was wrong and the receptionist apparently rang several times to a non existent phone in the villa. Strange that no-one thought to check why we were not picking up the phone, especially when we'd been to reception twice to check on progress. Eventually, the cleaner handed me her phone because she'd asked the housekeeper why we were still in the villa, so the housekeeper told me villa 21 was ready. We went to reception for keys and it was implied that we were at fault for not answering the phone which didn't exist. So we moved to villa 21. Great location, well away from the road and bus station. Villa 21 was not ready. Beds were not changed, kitchen was not cleaned, cleaning rags and bags of laundry (not sure if clean or dirty) were left in the living room area. So, another trip to reception! The cleaner did return a short while later to finish. Later we opened the fridge. When we did so we were confronted with a disgusting smell of rotting fish. Should have been another trip to reception but instead we decided to do the cleaner's job and throughly clean the fridge. We also bought some lemons in an attempt to improve the smell. None of this worked, so off to reception for another chat. A few hours later, someone came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge, and left. That didn't work, so another trip to reception. Late in the following afternoon two people came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge and left. About one hour later two more people came in and did the same thing. None of it worked, the smell was still awful every time we opened the firdge. Strange that so many people could repeat the same mistake and hope for a different result. By now it was our last full day in resort. So, another visit to reception where we said that if anyone who had tried to fix the fridge had opened it they must have known a better solution was needed. The receptionist did offer a bottle of wine to make us feel better, but we declined. A bottle of wine is no compensation for our inability to store fresh food in a fridge for 4 days. When we returned to the villa later that day, we discovered a new fridge. Hooray, no more stale fish smells! On our last day, to make us feel even more special, before we finished packing (at round 0930) the maintenance crew started to move furniture (cots anf high chairs) in for the next occupants. So, our hopes of a peaceful holiday spending 12 days in great accomodation and eating meals on our terrace, didn't happen on this visit. A pity because we went away from our previous two visits to Las Brisas feeliing happy and refreshed.

This was our first time visiting both OLB and Playa Blanca. I must say this is a lovely resort. The staff are very talkative and friendly, it was one of the best pools i've seen. They have entertainment on pretty much every night. The location is minutes away from the restraunts of playa blanca and it is very reasonably priced. Evening meals not the best but good for breakfast and afternoon snacks. Would defintely stay here agsin.

Visited as a Club La Costa member on a session week . Lovely apartment , decor a little bit tired but very clean and roomy . Pool bar did not belong to the resort but run by an English couple , staff friendly . We were not informed on arrival that payment for Air Con was supplementary but only code €8 for the week . Pool very clean and plenty of sun beds and umbrellas . A lot of reserving of sun beds which was a little annoying but always managed to get a bed. The kitchen was reasonably equipped but we didn’t intend to cook more than breakfast . The pans were not suitable for the induction hob but minor detail . We had a fabulous week and found some lovely local restaurants within 5 -15 minutes walk . Around 45 minute walk to marina and only €5 in a taxi . Would highly recommend and would not hesitate in returning if another session week becomes available through CLV

We arrived in the evening time and apartment was exceptionally warm. There is no aircon unit in the sitting room/living area so its quite uncomfortable when humid. After a while the aircon unit on the bedroom started dripping water and soaked the floor/curtains. Plaster pealing low down on a lot of the walls so property not suitable at all for toddlers. Eventhough property policy states quiet times are between 11pm-8am, on the night we stayed (we left after one night to new accommodation) there was live music in the bar area until 12.30am so request an apartment far away from there if you have small children. When we were departing the next day around 8.30am, I could see a lot of the sunbeds had been 'reserved' with towels. We have been coming to Playa Blanca for a number of years and there are much nicer properties. Definitely not worth staying here just for the location

Hi there, Thanks very much for sparing some time to share your review. We're glad you appreciated our location in Playa Blanca. However, we're sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. We understand that the lack of air conditioning in the living area and the dripping air conditioning unit in the bedroom were uncomfortable. We'll definitely look into these issues to ensure a better experience for our future guests. As for the plaster peeling on the walls, we appreciate your feedback and will address this concern as well. Regarding the live music and noise, we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused and will take your comments into consideration for future events. Lastly, we understand the frustration with sunbeds being 'reserved' with towels and will work on finding a solution to this issue. We hope to see you again for a better experience. Cheers,

The best location, right next to the bus stops, 3 minute walk from superdino (supermarket) 4 minutes to the beach and a strip of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Theres only a couple of faults I found whilst staying here. 1. The double bed isn't comfortable, you can feel the springs and the mattress is too soft. I didn't sleep very well the entire time. 2. Handbook you are given states, they don't allow people to reserve the sunbeds, this would be amazing if true. Last 2 days of our holiday as I was up before the pool opened anyway decided to join into getting a decent set of sunbeds and umbrella for shade as we wanted a pool day. We did get beds when we arrived before trying my own luck at reserving but usually the discarded ones noone reserved and lack of umbrellas meant no shade when needed. People did take a permanent umbrella and a movable one together. 3. WiFi, apart from having to constantly log back in I also found they seem to turn it off overnight? Puzzled as to why. Usually found it to be off from 9.30 to 10pm. The pool is a perfect size, open 8am to 8pm. I did enjoy the pool to myself from 7.30pm one evening for a late swim, having no gym on site meant at least I was getting a little workout in and it's a lovely way to cool down. During the day it wasn't overloaded and you always had plenty of room to swim or float around. The bar and staff were so helpful and lovely. I wish I knew you had English tea there before my last day, did enjoy that cup of tea! Breakfast was cooked perfectly and so was lunch rolls the next day. Problem with the bar/eating area from the pool, glass fragments are found on the wall, now you have to be careful when walking around barefoot to use the toilet or go back and get your shoes. Also lack of ashtrays meant people stub their fags out on the walls too, just why? I'm a smoker and you simply had to ask for a cup of water but the bar should provide ashtrays to eliminate this as it doesn't get cleaned up very well. But people shouldn't litter their fag ends like that. The apartments themselves are a decent size, the shower ensuite perhaps a tad small shower and hard to wash your hair but manageable. Bedrooms have aircon but not the living space so that does get a tad warm. Having the air con on over might does mean you end up coughing you cab set this on a timer too. Sunbeds, table and chairs outside is perfect and meant we deffinatly relaxed at every point. You have to pay for the electric you used, which is odd but only came to £7 for the whole week (that may be euros I can't remeber). The grounds themselves are beautiful, and spending the evening watching the sun set and mornings rise had lovely atmosphere. They do have bingo, quiz and other such games some nights this starts around 9.30pm but we didn't attend these. Typical English food menus suits their clientele very well. But the restaurants on the sea front are pretty good we even got takeaway Indian one night and brought it back. Towels changed and a light clean down, beds made happened half way through which we wasn't expecting at all. All in all I would deffinatly return and feel it still deserved a 5 star rating.

Really lovely complex, staff excellent especially reception and life guard. Apartment 109 has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and great for mobility scooter user. Unfortunately far to busy for us in august and found it a little disrespectful that some familys felt the need to use foul language and drink alcohol in pool (especially as I have 2 young children) The sun bed situation really needs sorting most days we would go out in the morning and return at lunch to find many beds with towels on that weren’t used all afternoon very selfish behaviour.

Great for wheelchair as resort is accessible with ramps and they also have a hoist into the pool if required. Supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants and lovely Sunday roast at Las Brisas. Entertainment on each night mainly different singers and one night is games night. The only downside is the saving of sunbeds as people unfortunately reserve them and go out for the day, would be good if this was monitored. Overall a great resort and a great week and will definitely return
