Only a 1 night stay in transit. Well appointed studio unit - very clean, modern and with nice toiletries. ExtremelY pleasant and helpful staff on reception, We also had dinner in the restaurant and this was an excellent meal and service.

Peppers is in a fantastic location overlooking Lake Tepako and mountains.. Rather spread out, not so good for lugging luggage! Had a very nice 2 storey apartment with cooking facilities, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Clean and comfortable Lovely view over Lake.Restaurant staff helpful and polite, but need more training e.g. "might be gluten free" isn't really good enough. Otherwise, great...

Dreadful! Check in time is 2pm. I arrive at 3pm to be told the room is not ready, to wait a further ten minutes. Why do I have to wait when check in time was in fact one hour ago!? Ten minutes later, told that I have been 'upgraded' to a deluxe room which is utter rubbish as it was...

Great location in a lovely area. Very friendly staff and bed was comfortable. Good if staying a while with full kitchen. One queen and pullout sofa fro 3. Would have preferred 2 queen beds, but hard to find. New development. Lots of windows. However, didn't like that only window in bedroom was a door that opened to small patio and...

My partner and I enjoyed 1 night in a standard hotel room at Peppers. The room was small but included all creature comforts of a 5 star hotel room and perfect for a one night stop over. The under floor heating in the bathroom was an added bonus on the cooler mornings. We dined in the hotel restaurant for dinner...

An expensive resort designed for bus tour groups - not for the independent traveller. No evidence of hospitality from the management or reservations team - this is commodity accommodation at its worst. We booked a "deluxe" room as it was the only one left - but no view and very small. Limited free internet (250mb!!) - just a trick to...

Only here for 1 night but was what we needed after a long drive from Queenstown (and a heavy previous night!) The lake shown in the photo is not actually Lake Tekapo - it's a pond. But the actual lake is only 2 min walk away anyway and you can see it across the road. Clean room, awesome shower, great...

So disappointed. This was our last stop at the end of a 3 week holiday and is where we paid the most and got the least. The room barely fitted our two cases in it, had to wait 40 minutes to check in and free wifi lasted about 20 minutes.

Booked room for 2 adults and 2 children. Arrived and beds were both king size. phoned reception to see if one bed could be divided out into singles and linen changed. Answer was yes but for and additional $30. Kitchen could have been cleaner and parking was lacking close to our room. The rooms were large and layout very good....

We stayed for one night as a stop over from Mount Cook on the way to Christchurch. The hotel was great however our room had not been cleaned properly before we arrived, water left in the dishwasher, lost television control (found under sofa cushions), only one coffee capsule and no tea bags. I know these are all relatively minor but...
