This is a warm, spacious, clean and comfortable apartment, with a wonderful view and equipped with most things you need. There is even a garage that will accommodate a medium sized car which is a bonus.
We have stayed here a few times over the years and sadly each time we come it has worn out a bit more, it is definitely time for a refresh and upgrade. These apartments are not a cheap option and sadly many things are wearing out and, in some cases, don't work or are dangerous. It is looking very tired, and not really worth the high price.
The lock on the bathroom door does not work, the basin is badly cracked and missing part of the tap. The plates are all miss matched and there is only 4 of each item, so if you want to use a bowl for dinner and then dessert you must wash the plates between courses. You are expected to turn the dishwasher on upon departure but as they don't replenish the powder during your stay there was no powder to use. Towels are not replaced and there are not enough rails to dry them on in the bathroom between uses. Quilts were badly stained with what looked like food or worse...
These are minor inconveniences; however, the most troubling aspect was the plug used on the heater in the living room. It is not sufficient for the capacity of the heater and consequently heats up to a dangerous level when in use which has resulted in the plug melting and burning and if used would be a fire hazard. We made sure it was unplugged and not used during our stay.
Finally, when booking on the Accor website a welcome drink was promised, however upon checking at the hotel they knew nothing about welcome drinks or any Accor plus gold privileges. Certainly not the service we have come to expect from Accor properties.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. The two-storey apartment was nicely decorated, very spacious and very suitable for a multi-day stay. We really appreciated the terrace and the artificial fire. In the kitchen everything necessary is available, so even cooking is very possible. The apartment can be enlarged by further rooms. These can be made accessible by staff by unlocking.
The complex is well maintained and well located if you want to be quickly on the lake and at the beautiful lupinias on the shore.

Stayed for two noughts in number 6 . Lovely big house but sadly only one bedroom and bathroom unlocked as we had booked one room . On arrival the cleaners had just finished ! Well they said they had cleaned … The upstairs bathroom ( around the bath and in the shower ) were filthy I used a cloth and wiped it over myself to show the office girl .. she sent the cleaners back who supposedly cleaned it again .. they didn’t , so I had to clean it myself .

Most places were all booked out three months before Xmas and so we booked this rather expensive place ($1050 for two nights, two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). We were pleased with the nice decor and cleanliness. The beds and beddings were very clean and comfortable. It has laundry and full kitchen. The bathrooms are nice. The only comment is that the weather was quite warm (22c) at daytime and so the bedrooms were a little stuffy. There is an aircon in the living room, but fans only in the bedroom upstairs. It is within 15-20min walk to the shops and 10min to the little church.

A very nice property with heated floor on the upper level. The reception closed after 5.30pm but a phone outside got us connected to a staff who gave us the code to unlock the pigeon hole to the key.
The property is nice with a garage where the washer and dryer were located. Most of everything worked inside the house and only one heater at the living area is not working.
The location is great and near to town center as well as the lupin fields. The view of Lake Tekapo offered a breathtaking view of the mountains.
There were several eateries at the town center but only one supermarket which was quite expensive compared to other towns.
There were several other properties that offered a great view of the lake but we were very happy with our choice.

After a long day on the Hooker Valley Track, I was looking forward to booking into my hotel and a hot cup of tea. What I found was dirty washing from the previous guests that room service hadn't moved, and a cup from the cupboard that still had a dirty tea bag in it.
I was horrified and shocked and alarmed to find a rodent running around the toilet. I spoke to management the next day as reception wasn't open until the next morning. The manager tried to get the mouse out of the unit. He sent staff to kill it while we were still in there.
Apparently, I am not entitled to a "full refund" as I still need to pay a booking fee.
Upper management believe I should only receive a 30% refund as I stayed the night.
Given a choice, I would definitely not have stayed. I have asked the manager for details so as to communicate with upper management. I am still waiting for an email from him.
I have videos that I can't upload yet.

We stay in unit 4. I'm very disappointed of what they called it Deluxe accommodation 👎. Drawers in our room broken, towel holders broken very dirty bathroom moulds. Make sure you clean the utensils before using them as we found out dirty it hasn't been clean. No Aircon in all rooms as temp really high with the afternoon sun facing our room. ( Aircon only in the living room. Very bad Mantra. It need maintenance.

So much room! It is a full apartment and extremely equipped. Our unit #22 looked like every thing in the fully equipped kitchen was brand new. Fireplace, large open concept living and dining room and two bathrooms. You can have the other rooms unlocked for a three bedroom unit but as there was only the two of us we had one bedroom. It was almost too much room for our one might stay. It even had a garage to park your vehicle and washer and dryer. It was great!

The barbecue is in an outdoor common area by the pool, which is in a central area in the middle of the townhouses. I’m sorry, but we did not use the barbecue while we were there.
Shouldn't be a problem, we checked in on a Sunday afternoon and the office was manned.
