Stayed one night in Nov 2023 with 6 birth camper on unsealed powered site. A tad worried on arrival as it was like a Grand Prix pit stop with about 7 campers all arriving in convoy and stopping at reception. However, we needn't have worried, check in was swift with excellent instructions. We were situated right at the far end on the top level over looking the lake. Really nice. Worth noting: There is NO 4/5G coverage here and the WiFi is poor. We didn't bother in the end but be prepared that if you have any work / planning / contacting to do? Do it before you arrive. Facilities all very nice and clean and it's 30 seconds walk to the lakeside which is really nice. You could walk into town but we chose to eat in the camper that night and drive in the next morning where we found numerous cafe's, shops and of course the famous "Church of the good shepherd". We also borrowed a DVD from receptions which was free and returned the following morning. We were there just as the Lupins were coming out but I can imagine it is stunning when they are all in bloom. Price wise it's in line with all the others. It is a big site but only one Dump Station we could find and there was a queue in the morning so if you see it clear, do the business then while it's quiet. There are numerous Rabbits to watch chasing each other around and we made a new friend in a Mallard Duck who then brought his mates back. Over all a lovely location and we would recommend.

Amazing views in the park, facilities are pretty good. Be very careful in the camp as so many people driving way over the speed limit 20-30kph where it should be walking pace, this is particularly dangerous near the border playground which comes downhill and blind corner near tv room- management need to manage this better as the office is about 250m from the park there is no presence at all!! I agree with other posts that it is important to book restaurants as it is very busy in the small village- we had a food van near the park one night (monster burger) it was amazing and reasonably priced. Sites also slope the wrong way for drainage or showers but this may be unacheivable for drainage purposes due to being on a hill- would need slabs to level vehicles out

Hi there Thank you for letting us know your concerns about the speed limit, which we hope to make more prominent. We will address with all staff and have more signage put up, along with reminding people at check in. There are staff at the camp throughout the day until 5pm, whether that be housekeepers or maintenance who will also be more vigilant. We hope you had a memorable stay in Tekapo! Cheers Lydia

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2023 We arrived past the reception opening night due to our ferry ride form north island and we called reception just in case of our late arrival time and they were very accommodating and said they'll leave our check-in details in a box just outside the reception office. Our stay was for a campervan spot. Located not too far from the nearest shower block, we were away from majority of the campers (as we selected an electronic charging spot) and had quite a view which was nice. Laundry and kitchen facilities were a little further away. Laundry takes $2 coins and all facilities provided on site were very clean and new. Most campervan spots are along the hill on a terrace which overlooks the lake. Location of the holiday park was on the same road as the Tekapo Springs and a short walk to the lake's edge.

Fantastic accomodation. The cabin the was great, so clean and roomy. We stayed in the motel, to accomodate 5 of us. Beautiful view of the lake. So nice to wake up to that every morning. The reception staff were great with local knowledge and places to eat. We were super satisfied and would 100% recommend any one to go. Thankyou for a lovely day.

Great little ensuite cabin. Super clean, newly constructed look, easy access to nearby shops and restaurants/cafes. Fantastic stay and location. Nice, warm and toasty despite being real-feel minus 2 degree outside! Only criticism is that there is no wardrobe or storage. There weren't any hooks either to hang up jackets or clothes. Otherwise, our stay was excellent!

I loved every moment staying here. The English girl on reception was very friendly and helpful. The site was clean and tidy, the facilities were very clean and warm considering it was -4 at night. Wifi worked as it should, no complaints Highly recommended

Such a beautiful part of the world! We decided to try somewhere we hadn't been 4 years ago and we're so glad we did. This was top of our list of places to stay this time around. We stayed 3 nights on a powered site. Could easily have stayed a week! Walking distance to the Lake Tekapo hot Springs in one direction and the town centre in the other direction. Easy, though very bumpy drive to Roundhill ski area. An amazing view to wake up to every morning. Bathrooms are great, plenty of them. They do have timers but the allowed 6 minutes is plenty. Kitchen and laundry facilities are good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great play area for the kids. I highly recommend!

Very happy to arrive at a clean and tidy Kiwi Bach with our family. Plenty of beds for everyone, clever use of space to provide an extra basin and cut down on bathroom time, well supplied kitchen. Very cosy, and good blackout blinds - a recipe for a good sleep in! Very short walk to Tekapo Springs.

Hi there! So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in a Kiwi Bach - perfect for a Family with plenty of bunk beds and all fully self contained. Those black out blinds can be dangerous if you have to get up early (but perfect for when on holiday!) Hopefully we see you back here one day! Cheers Lydia

We stayed in the lodge and it was everything we were hoping for! We’ll equipped kitchen meant we could cook meals and enjoy them in a lovely communal space. Everyone seemed very respectful and the place was kept nice and tidy. Rooms were great, nice blankets and good heating for cold nights. Bathrooms and other amenities were all great.

WE STAYED THERE TWICE IN CAMPERVANS. THE VIEW IS SECOND TO NONE. THE FACILITIES ARE VERY GOOD WASHING MACHINES DRYERS KITCHEN SHOWERS TOILETS. THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR. UNFORTUNATELY SOME PEOPLE LEAVE THEIR MARK AND SO A BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE CLEANERS WHO TRY THEIR HARDEST TO KEEP ALL FACILITIES SPARKLING. SUCH A RELAXING STAY AT THIS PARK

Hi Josh Thanks so much for your second review, glad to hear you loved it just as much as the first time you visited! The view is probably the number one reason people like to stay with us, but we like to think this is paired with fantastic facilities and service. Yes, some people are slightly messier than others, however - I am glad you notice how hard the housekeeping team works to keep everything looking spick and span for our guests! Hopefully see you back here for a third visit soon. Kind regards Lydia
