Absolutely loved staying here! Such friendly and accomodating hosts, and loved how peaceful and quiet the location was. The two bedroom villa was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The cedar hot tub was well used by my Husband and I - It was just stunning to sit out in the hot tub, staring up and the stars. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to others who are planning to travel to the Hawkes Bay

This really is a hidden gem- a well appointed villa surrounded by a beautiful garden. The hosts were lovely and very responsive to queries. There will so many thoughtful touches- the fire place was stocked with fire wood all ready to be used. The kitchen was very well equipped with an excellent selection of herbs and other cooking essentials. We thought it was the perfect location for cycle trips around the Hawkes Bay Area. Would definitely stay there again!

What a lovely place with discerning and passionate hosts, we loved our time at Amuri Villas. The Villas are a real passionate expression of the hosts Hugh and Jane. The gardens are fantastic and peaceful, the villas are beautiful, well appointed and offer the most of the property. Clean and well appointed, with great linen and one certainly felt that one was pampered, which was the whole idea of the stay for us. Of real benefit was the proximity to all the places of interest in the Bay...which we enjoyed. Thanks for a lovely and considered stay.. Amuri villas is a credit to you.

The perfect place to relax while enjoying the delights of Hawkes Bay. Our two bedroom villa was well appointed and very comfortable. Lovely little personal touches were appreciated - roses from the garden, a breakfast hamper and wine in the fridge. The surrounding gardens are delightful with fruit trees and flower beds. Our host Jane was helpful and welcoming and the location is perfect, everywhere a short drive away. Recommended.

Our stay at Amuri Villas was top Quality. The Villa was beautiful and clean, the furnishings and facilities were of the highest quality. The Villa was set beside beautiful gardens with parkland surrounding, the Viila is situated near the township of Clive which is only 15 minutes from Napier or 10 minutes to Hastings. the locals we met in Clive were very friendly indeed. Our hosts Hugh and Jane very very welcoming and helpful who respected our privacy at all times. We highly recommend Amuri Villas.

I have been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling in my life and I have to say, I think this is perhaps the nicest place I've ever stayed. Every detail of the villa was perfect - the beds were amazing, the kitchen was well set up, the library was glorious, and then the gardens and landscape were so lovely and peaceful. Also, everything in Hawke's Bay was a 10 minute drive. You just can't beat it!

Recently my wife and I had the pleasure staying at the Amuri Apartments located in Clive. This area is nearly equidistant from both Napier and Hastings in Hawke Bay, New Zealand. As such it’s very handy to virtually everything this beautiful region has to offer. Surrounded by a multitude of vineyards and orchards and a mere 12 kilometres from the stunning Cape Kidnappers means it couldn’t be in a better location to sample the lot. The apartment was very clean and modern with every amenity imaginable well catered for. One couldn’t ask for any more! From a comfortable lounge area to a complete and well stocked kitchen, pristine bathroom and culminating with a spacious bedroom and super satisfying bed-it was all there. Placed in a rural area the property offers views on all sides of tranquility and greenery. Complimenting the large lawn areas were trees, plants and shrubs of all description. A walk around the perimeter of the two acre property is well worthwhile as well as relaxing. The water supply is from their own well and pumped directly to the accommodation, and it’s delicious. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! Are we looking forward to our next stay? Already planning it! If you want a peaceful setting in a central part of Hawke Bay you couldn’t do any better! Set in beautiful gardens, all we could ask for and more. The comfiest beds and hotel quality sheets. All workmanship done to the highest spec quality furnishing throughout. Nice quiet setting. Would throughly recommend couples wanting a nice quiet break away from the hustle and bustle. Bike and walk ways in abundance. Do as little or as much as you like. Graham & Angela Wainwright

Stayed here recently. Very quiet location. Lots of room to be comfortabily settled in. Well located. Villa's seem to still be a work-in-progress, with small things still to be sorted. Shower pressure not good, storage space in bedrooms need fixing. WiFi very slow. TV oddly located. Pillows too big for comfortable sleep. Little things really. 95% very good.

Thank you for taking the time to writing a review . A pity you had not read the compendeum as it said there were smaller pillows in the wardrobes if the lodge pillows did not suit. We have good water pressure again in the compendeum or phone as perhaps the pump was not on .As with the wifi- we have fibre optic. and ]we have not had an issue Small issues but can be annoying at the time but it usually is easily fixed . We are pleased you had a nice time
