Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is in a very favorable position to leave the car and visit the whole historic center of Montagnana on foot. It is a hotel that certainly had a history of a certain class and quality, some rooms are very sought after according to the most classic tastes, perhaps the rooms and bathrooms could be a little 'modernized at least in some details. Friendly and welcoming staff, however positive experience. The attached restaurant is an experience to try!

In this hotel / restaurant I spent two unforgettable days with my wife. Thoughtful, kind, competent and on your side. Lunch and dinner were very relaxing moments with exceptional 100% genuine specialties prepared with care and love. We will definitely be back. To all staff and management my thanks!

What a wonderful, traditional Italian, family-run hotel. Chandeliers everywhere, parquet floors, large rooms. Just a stone’s throw from the massive main square of this ‘borgo’. We enjoyed walks round the inside and outside of the walls. Such a shame that more travellors don’t visit.

We stayed here as it was close to Padova and Venice.
Check-in was easy. Our room was a suite. It had a bedroom and a sitting room with a double pull out sofa. It also had a dining table. The room was very clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was nice. Dinner was very tasty and breakfast was also nice.
The hotel is in the middle of Montagnana so shops are walking distance.

A very traditional Italian just a short walk from the main town square. Unfortunately I found my room very noisy and you could hear everything in the neighbouring rooms and it made for a difficult nights sleep. If you are a light sleeper like me try to be in a room with no neighbours.

It's not the Ritz, or some flashy boutique hotel, but if you're in the area for any reason ( most likely the fabulous food) then this hotel may suit your needs.
It's slightly dated in decor (I suppose it has been here since the 1940s....), but clean and functional. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though a little attention to the decor and accessories would not go astray ( table lamps, wall art etc...)
It's a calm place, with pleasant, unstuffy staff.

It is my 3rd stay at this hotel. First time was in the mid nineties. Very pleasant people, wonderful town an excellent food and wine at the resaturant of the hotel. Prices are very, very reasonable and the service top level. ( my family went there many years back when my son forgot his watch at the room. They posted it to us on their own initiative and expensive !!!

I had the pleasure of staying at Aldo Moro Hotel from October through October 17, 2014. The last time I was there in January 2014 there was lots of construction going on in the lobby and in the restaurant area. By the time I returned in October I was greeted by a bright and tastefully decorated reception area and lobby. I had the pleasure of having a light supper in the expanded and elegant dinning room. The kitchen area is now tastefully visible from the dinning room. The food was wonderful as usual. The rooms were the same, clean and comfortable but basic rooms I have enjoyed on my many trips to Montagnana. All in all the Aldo Moro Hotel is a unique and pleasant experience inside the Medieval Walls of the town.

The staff of this family-run hotel are incredibly helpful. They went out of their way a number of times to help us with such things as problems with the car and navigating through the countryside. Most important, the food in the restaurant is superb. The matron of the family is in charge and she does a superb job of producing interesting, delicious dishes with that uniquely Italian home-cooked touch. As a bonus, Montagnana is the prosciutto capital of Italy and one gets the chance to enjoy that delectable food at is finest.

Aldo Moro Hotel is a quaint property in the heart of a small town in Veneto named Montagnana! Step back in time experience! in the heart of Montagnana with all amenties within walking distance. Enclosed in medievil fortress like walls, very friendly! Aldo Moro, nothing short of comfortable, with a view of the near by castle from our very clean, and accomodating room! Elisa, and brother Aldo, proprietors of the hotel were accomodating, and courteous made our stay an extremely pleasant one! We highly recommend the Aldo Moro in beautiful Montagnana to anyone wanting to truly get away. Major cities such as Padova, Verona, and Venice, are just hours away. A train station located just a mile from the hotel, and is convenient ! Can't wait to go back!!
