A small hotel overlooking the lake. Style might be a little out of date. But even as an experienced traveller staying at the best places from Dubai to New York I have never (and I mean that) experienced service like this. The hotel I family run. And it shows. People are actually happy to see you. They try to make your stay as comfortable as possible not because they are trained to do so, but because that's what they do. There is no fake friendly-ness but genuine hospitality. All of this is worth so much more then a more fancy looking place. Also the breakfast is amazing (especially for Italy).

We visited already twice this hotel and each time with the same result: Happy customer. Even during the corona period it stayed perfect. Affordable, clean, nice owners and staff, very helpful. I can't imagine a better place to stay at Lago di Garda.

We were here for the second time and again the staff were ever so friendly and made us immediately feel at home. They do everything to make your holiday a succes. The room was cozy and clean and the view on the lake was breathtaking. Breakfast is amazing with a wide choice and something to look forward to every day! The use of bikes was very handy. We highly recommand this hotel! We will be back!

Had a reservation at a different hotel in Salo. Hotel did not fit description so we left and showed up tired and weary at Hotel Vigna. Fillippo was at front desk when we arrived. He sensed we were a little overwhelmed. Showed us a gorgeous lake front suite. When we accepted he took control of the situation. Told us to have a seat on our beautiful balcony and enjoy the view. Within minutes he had checked us in, had our luggage brought up and personally brought us up a great bottle of Rose and a dish of munchies. Told us to enjoy the view and our afternoon and dissappeared. We have stayed in many nice hotels but never recieved service like this. The whole time we were there staff was unbelievably attentive to our needs and made us feel very comfortable. Location of hotel is fantastic, steps to restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffett , probably the best we have had in our travels. If you are visiting Salo make Hotel Vigna your choice you will not be dissappointed.

- located right on the lake, the hotel is beautiful inside. Beautiful comfortable rooms, with large bathrooms with granite tops. Breakfast is amazing as well, beautiful assortment and excellent coffee. There is a lovely promenade in front with many restaurants, and cafes. The hotel service is the best.
