Great staff, easy check-in.
Rooms are small, no kettle, no hot water facilities for making drinks, a microwave is downstairs, bring ceramic mugs!
Location is a bit out, nothing nearby so bring food or prepare to drive 10 minutes towards buffalo wings and restaurants in that area.
Car park is free and secure, there are couple of sharp metal posts that were hacked down in parking opposite the hotel door, be careful with your tyres.
The rooms are too basic, it seems they actually worked hard to down design the hotel, it's not fantastic... So come here with minimal expectations.
The hotel gets very busy due to low cost, its a shame they don't have a bar or evening meal facilities, they will do well and provide a great service for the long distance travellers.
In the morning the kitchen staff let us get hot water for making coffee.
The front of the the hotel is not clean, it won't harm to make it a little bit joyful.
For us it served a purpose, but if we were staying 3 nights to visit Bordeaux, we would go higher.

I have already stayed at several ibis budgets on the west coast and the only positive point of this one is its proximity to the A10 (good closed parking and co center 5/10 minutes by car).
The room for 3 is even smaller than that of other hotels of the same brand, impossible to move between the 2 beds, we had to put our things in front of the front door to be able to go around the beds. The pillows are flat and the mattresses are of lower quality than other budget ibises.
Simple breakfast, the base is missing 1 toaster even.

When checking out the room on Tuesday August 8 at the distributor following an online reservation, the reservation number was not detected. We drove 8 hours, it's less than 2 p.m. reception opens at 3 p.m. outside over 30 degrees with two children, one of whom is 2 years old. I call the landline number then customer service no one can do anything because the family room is ready for 3 p.m. but on the reservation email on the agreement site it indicates check in at noon. Three days after my complaint, no sign from the hotel management. A big thank you to the receptionist who arrived before 3 p.m. who was kind enough to resolve the situation outside of his working hours. A shame to say check in at noon but supposedly have to wait until 3 p.m. to get the family room.

Clean and comfortable. We chose this chain according to ibis because children sleep for free in the same room as their parents. The room was small but sufficient, modern and very clean. The breakfast was quite complete and the value for money was excellent. But the best thing without a doubt is the staff, all very friendly, very pleasant.

Very pleasant stay at the Ibis Budget Bordeaux Lormont. A big thank you to this person who at check-in gave me a multitude of information allowing me to have a good time. Particularly with the possibility of tasting a pizza available from a vending machine at the entrance to the hotel. In addition, the breakfast was good and well stocked! The rooms are well appointed and well decorated. I highly recommend this hotel, which is excellent value for money.

The stuff was really helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not provided so I cannot comment on it. The location was ok but too far away from city centre. Recommended for family for a descent and affordable accommodation.
