Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had the pleasure of staying at this great bed and breakfast as part of a road trip in the area with a friend. The location was handy from the main road, the bed was very comfortable and Rae's hospitality was outstanding. The little touchs made this place great - the robes, the heaters, the local information pamphlets, the cup of tea facilities close to the rooms so you could make a drink and return to your room. The breakfast was tasty and homemade. I look forward to coming again! Thanks Rae

Had a fantastic 2 night stay and could not have felt more comfortable or well looked after at this fantastic B&B. Great place, tidy, comfortable bed and quiet location. Breakfast was lovely with fresh apricots, yogurt and delicious coffee (and lots more). Room always cosy warm when I'd come home to jump into bed, and there are lots of treats and amenities throughout the home to make your stay more enjoyable. Rae is a great host who takes pride in her food, gardens and home, I wish I had more time to soak up the sun and enjoy her gorgeous gardens!

Well, first time I have been back in Cromwell for years and what a great place to stay in. Rae has done a great job transforming this large family home into a gorgeous B&B.

Big gardens and a sunny aspect, with particular focus on homegrown goodness (homemade toasted muesli was a real treat)

You're only a short walk down to the the lakefront and the Historic Cromwell precinct and it is a perfect central location for Queenstown, Wanaka and Clyde.

Will be back here in a flash for this amazing hospitality.

We stayed two nights at The Olive Tree with Rae. It was on the recommendation of a friend and we weren't disappointed.

Rae was very relaxed, warm, and welcoming, took the time to chat with us on arrival and then left us to settle in.

She is very knowledgeable on things to see and do in and around Cromwell, and also Wanaka & Queenstown.

Breakfast was lovely, the room was lovely, and the bed was super comfy!

Rae was a great host, made us feel very welcome and at home, and her wee dog Charlie is just gorgeous!

We will definitely stay again the next time we go to Cromwell!
