Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Found this little gem on tinternet and booked a room for myself for the weekend of 11/13th June. Set halfway between Queenstown and Wanaka it was perfectly situated for the mountain race I was doing in Cromwell.
The owners were amazing, Des was keeping the old fire in the kitchen/lounge area going and the property is exceptionally clean and warm (important because it was bloody cold outside!).

Thanks for an amazing stay guys, I will definitely be back!! highly recommend!!

Wow! Amazing space! Feels brand new! Beautiful grounds in extremely scenic setting; wine country and only about 20 minute drive from busy Wanaka, plus close to Lake Dunstam cycle trail!! Extremely clean, many bathrooms and showers. Huge kitchen and tv room. I could see large groups of family and friends staying here. Perfect if you have a car or bicycle. Bring groceries and use the enormously equipped kitchen. This is a great place to access all the surrounding beauty if you have transportation. I have the king bed private room, the bed is quality and must be brand new. Based on the building I would assume all the beds are quality. Key fob entry. Strong WiFi.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. Very affordable, clean and warm. Great open plan day area with wood burner and modern cooking facilities. Rooms with bedding and heating ideal for winter trips. Situated very well for exploring the wineries 🥰

Due to a mistake we made with booking at this property we were blown away with their kindness and understanding and would like to say a very big thank you for their generosity. With what looked like a very comfortable clean and tidy room, a shared kitchen to die for and enormous communal TV and comfortable lounge patrons would be sure of a lovely rural atmosphere and wonderful proximity to Lake Dunstan.
