We were greeted by our hosts Sally and Donald. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and included the necessary accessories to assist with my mobility issues.
The property is simply delightful, and the views were quite stunning. Nothing was too much trouble and Donald provided some sound advice regarding the cycle trail, which was most useful.
We will most definitely stay there again, and I would highly recommend this fabulous little gem!

We had a great three night stay at Cromwell Escape. The cottage was warm, the bed was comfortable and Donald and Sally are great hosts. The bathroom is a good size and the room was uncluttered so it felt roomy.

We stayed here for a night when we were on our way to Wanaka from Te Anau. I found it online a few days before and I'm so pleased I did because it is simply amazing! We had a deluxe studio which had huge patio doors out on to the the decked area with a small pool and a spa pool, and amazing views down the the lake area. Our room was beautiful, and I loved the lime green accessories. We checked in quite late in the evening but were greeted warmly by the owner (Donald?) he showed us round and also gave us a bottle of fresh milk for our drinks. I wish we'd arrived earlier to enjoy it all for longer, but we definitely made the most of our evening having tea outside, then a soak in the spa pool under the stars. We watched the ISS flit across the sky so it really was perfect. We slept so well in our beautiful room, the bed was so comfy. The bathroom was huge, with a separate walk in shower, good toiletries, and I think a jacuzzi bath.. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back on South Island - it is a little piece of paradise and such brilliant value too! Thank you to the wonderful owners for making us feel so welcome, it was lovely to meet you and your gorgeous cats!

The property is near by a river/lake. The room is spacious, modern and clean. My favourite part is it actually have a Hottub just outside the deck overlook the mountain. A view that you want to see everyday. Will go back if I visit again.

We have passed through Cromwell a number of times on our travels around NZ but this time we fit it in and Cromwell Escape is a great choice. Generously sized rooms, a really nice bathroom, comfy bed. And the pool is cool, the hot tub is lovely. But to top it off the owners are super accommodating. Bikes and kayaks are available sadly we never used any. Its certainly not a bad choice choosing here. :)

Gorgeous spot with fab views across the lovely garden to lake inlet, super comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, excellent bathroom and the units are well equipped and have outside seating and there is a lovely spa pool. Sally and Donald are charming, helpful and delightful hosts, thank you guys for a wonderful stay. Totally recommend.

Beautiful, newer motel/ hotel just minutes out of Cromwell. Our room/suite was clean, modern, perfect. Owners were great. Price was reasonable considering the facility. Right on the water. Breakfast available for extra charge. Free WIFI. Hot tub. Huge shower. Comfie bed.

Very modern and clean two bedroom apartment, the bathroom was large and well equipped. There are great views over the lake at the back of the property and a nice boarded area with a jacuzzi and small pool. The owners live at one end of the apartments and are friendly and helpful.

Came here kind of by accident, as we couldn’t find accommodation in wanaka (where we were going to collect some field data), and this place was so well priced we figured that it’d do. Really pleasantly surprised to find this beautifully kept place, with soft beds and room for everyone, right alongside a beautiful lake! It’s almost worth it to come to Cromwell again just to stay in this sweet quiet little hotel, and watch the sunset from your own private little piece of waterfront. Free (video-streaming quality) WiFi was also an excellent addition, and the bathrooms were really pretty. And there’s a giant flatscreen in our room. I was just really surprised how nice it was and i hope people come here and just enjoy it for what it is - a nice quiet retreat.
