We were given another room, not on the street, at our request and had a very good dinner and breakfast. The house is well run. We ordered extra pillows. The bathroom was freshly renovated. The clientele was mixed, business people, families, couples.

Stayed here for 3 nights with wife and 2 children. Have stayed here before but over 10yrs ago. Hotel has grown since then. Food in restaurant is excellent including breakfast. Room is fine. Price of hotel is very good value for others in the area. We'll located to tour around the Allgau. Local beer is great as always.

We had our Wedding at the Am Kamin last summer our wedding was quiet special The Hotel had to accomodate guests from different countries. France, Germany, and Egypt our Family and Friends spent from a 1 night stay to 10 days stay at the Am Kamin The Hotel is very clean and organized the food is Excellent and the rooms are quiet large for Germany.
The Hotel owner and staff worked with my husband and I to coordinate our wedding while we live in the USA via emails and phone calls through out the year and multiple demands you can imagine we did not have a wedding planner
This Hotel provides a 5 stars service in a 3 stars hotel sure the hotel itself is not a luxery Hotel but simplicity can be great if perfected.
i would recomment to any one visiting the area specially the price is perfect as well and even for just dinner or lunch is a great option can't wait to be at the Am Kamin again.
Danke Fur Alles

Cosy and nice small hotel in a good location. Unfortunatelly bit noisy in the evening due to party at the bar. Room was ok and comfy enough, so was a breakfast. Also very good parking premises right next to the hotel.

Good restaurant and good value menus

We happened upon this hotel on our way to Erding and landed here for one night as a stop over. The hotel is spacious, has several restaurants and a bowling alley. The front desk staff was friendly. Our room was spacious, with sitting area, but weird bathroom configuration. We enjoyed a few meals in the restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet with lots of options, although we had to ask for help to use the coffee machine. They did offer vegetarian meal selections, which I appreciated. In the evening, there was live music and the place was hopping. The restaurant, for dinner, seems to be the place to go for locals. It was very busy. Received a password at the front desk and was able to use my I-Touch to surf the web and check email. The place is a bit dated, lots of kitsch here and there, but nice overall, a bit pricey for what you get, I think. It was located near the town center, just a short drive away. An easy walk, if the weather had been nicer. It proved to be a excellent stop over point on our drive from southern Germany, near Austrian border, to Erding, which is north of Munich (our departure city location).

Stayed here last year and it was very nice. Great food, and hospitality. They have a good restaurant, and even a good sized bowling alley, within the hotel.
The only drawback is that it's not in the center, or the picturesque part of town, but if you're only stopping over on the way to the Alps it's perfect.

We have been here for the first time on recommendation. It was just lovely.
First conflict was where to sit in those
Cosy environment rooms.
Salad Buffet was really worth its name-the biggest we‘ve seen so far - everything very fresh and super choice.
The ordered food was extraordinary in the way it was presented and the taste was very special.
This place is our no 1 from now on , in this area.
The whole place looked clean and immaculate,
Very friendly and attentive staff.
It certainly deserved to be awarded

Our room was very clean and modern but very small. The room size is consistent with a budget hotel and not what we expected. We both banged ourselves on the furniture Apparently larger rooms are available but the small room is the default.. A kettle was provided but we had to go to reception for tea bags. Also we needed extra pillows so that we could sit up in bed. The breakfasts were excellent. We also had an evening meal and can heartily recommend eating there. The food was excellent, as was their house wine. The service was first class and the price very reasonable.

Stayed there on business for a couple of nights. Reception efficient and booking was all OK. Outside area looking a bit run down and could do with a freshen up. Room basic with a typical useless German pillow. No good to man nor beast. Dinner menu was very German but ok and breakfast was similar. Did actually sleep quite well, nice room temperature. Good shower in the morning but it was noisy.
