Detailed Reviews
My room was super-tiny, in fact I was amazed at the very first step in the room. It was a single room, but I've never seen so tiny rooms. It seemed more a storage closet than a room. Claustrophobic people should avoid this hotel.
In general, the hotel was clean and it is okay for one-night stay. Very close to the center city and to the station which is linked with Stuttgart.
I liked the fact that the beverages in the room were free, there were 3 types of bag-tea and one bottle of sparkling water. The breakfast was also included in the price, and it was really abundant, even though hot food was slightly warm and not warm enough to eat.
I liked the fact that keys are available from a special box, introducing your own code. It is a great innovation!
I would recomment it only for short trips and probably only business trips, as there is not much to do.

I stayed in city hotel Fellbach for 3 nights in mid July.. Hotel is situated about 400 metres from s-bahn station Fellbach Lutherkirsche. S- bahn takes approximately 35 minutes to travel to Stuttgart hauptbahnhoff. On arrival at hotel late(ish) 7.30 pm.. I was surprised to find no reception on duty this finishes at 11 a.m.. I rang bell and you speak through answer phone supply your details. After this you are given a pin to enter on key code a key pops out this key works for front door and hotel room..
Room was decent size with separate rooms for shower/sink room and WC. Wifi was strong and very sufficient. A tv with national German channels. Storage facilities were good wardrobe space. Tea and coffee facilities present with nice selection of teas and coffees.. Bed was bigger than single and comfy.. Two downsides no A/C as it was July very stuffy and hot,and no safe availabilie in room for valuables and passport.
Breakfast was plentiful fresh rolls, fruit juices , cold meats etc very tasty..
Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel with staff very pleasant also. I would recommend this hotel for value and comfort.

Stayed here for two nights as a solo traveller, and the room was perfect for me - a comfortable single bed, very clean with a brand new bathroom, kettle and complementary sweets, water, tea, ear plugs, sewing kit.
Walking distance of all trams/trains/buses.
Friendly smiling staff. Breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled egg, great coffee - how could you complain?

We booked an apartment for 6 person through airbnb from this persons. After a couple of month they advise out that they were going to do some work in the apartment so we were moved to 3 hotel room for the same price, and we agree... than 5 days before our arrival they simply cancel our booking, causing us 600 € of economical damage as at 5 days from the beginning of the Cannstetter Volksfest there were almost no other place available. And the worst things has been that checking on the hotel web site the day after they were still selling rooms (obviously at 3 times the price we were supposed to pay). I use to travel to Germany for the Oktoberfest since 18 years now. And this was the first time I had such an issue with hotel or apartment owner. And Airbnb customer service confirmed me that it was not the first issue with this gentleman and they were going to block all his advertisement.

I have so many great things to say about this hotel... The staff (Toni and Patricia) were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice, the buffe had a lot of variety of things. If you are visiting Stuttgart or surroundings is worth it to stay in this hotel, you feel like at home. I recomend it 100000%!

After checking in and paying (103.09 euros including breakfast) at the entrance door at around 9:15 p.m. after a long day, we went to our room (17) and were looking forward to our bed. To our surprise, the room was not cleaned, the beds were not made, there was excrement in the toilet, etc. (pictures attached). Unfortunately, there is no staff on site at this hotel that we could turn to. So we called the hotel hotline. We told the lady what we had found and she apologized and said that someone would come immediately to clean the room..?? So we should wait at 9:30 p.m. until the room is cleaned, which will take some time? And to be honest, given this view and the hygienic conditions, any desire to stay in this hotel disappeared. When we refused to stay in the room, which was then cleaned, we were offered a room in a higher category across the street, which we declined and demanded our money back because we decided to stay in another good hotel that we knew of because we didn't feel like having any more adventures and just wanted to sleep. This was rejected by the "management". Customer friendliness and goodwill are different, this is a rip-off, keeping money for no service. But this "hotel" doesn't seem to care, one bad review more or less doesn't seem to bother anyone here. If you love such surprises and accept these conditions, then this place can be recommended, if you want service and cleanliness for the same money, you're better off in any other hotel.
