Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very friendly welcome and a warm, family atmosphere, isolated for the duration of a stay in the middle of an estate populated with deer, deer and deer. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable and the evening meals are generous and without fuss. , like at home. I highly recommend

We came for the second time with our two poodles and were not disappointed again. The welcome of the guests is at the top. We were able to recharge our batteries by walking in the area and at the bend of a path we met deer, deer, deer or wild boar.
Again thank you to all four, Rozette, Émilie, Marcel and Sébastien without forgetting Fantine the little next generation.

a very pleasant weekend in the middle of nature in the lodge by the river, very comfortable bed. The very friendly owners, the hearty meals and above all the surprise of seeing a deer and his doe come to say hello. Unforgettable. We will come back

Great time in this area
I spent 3 nights with my brother-in-law in this beautiful building for a little motorcycle trek in the region.
Great welcome from the owners who take great care!
Good little meals after our walks!
Total calm.
And surprising visitors in the evening (deer, deer, etc.)
In short, I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!
I will return there with my wife.

We were lucky enough to sleep in a lodge on the estate. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the location, the lodge tent, the bathrooms, the breakfast. Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of the area because we had to leave early but the place is exceptional and the host lovely.
We were still lucky enough to see a deer there.

I spent 2 nights in a lodge, with my goddaughter, it was just exceptional. Everything was perfect accommodation, sanitary facilities... a wonderful place, nature, pool, quiet, estate... excellent breakfasts and meals, nothing to say. And as a bonus the visit of deer, deer and deer, not to mention my 2 wild boar girlfriends.
Hosts at the top, welcoming, smiling, available, very beautiful people.
I will return with great pleasure with my little family.
Looking forward to seeing you again.

A beautiful place, an excellent welcome.
Dinner proposal, we were tempted by the plancha for two 🥰👍.
Breakfast top.
The bathrooms are impeccable with a small awesome decor.

With as a bonus an encounter with a deer, makes hugs with two laies... ❤️❤️❤️

We spent a night in lodge, we will definitely return.

For once we are not disappointed by a Wonderbox 👍.

Anyway! 2000% recommended

Spent two nights here with my family recently, lady of the house is very welcoming, smiley and eager to please (little spoken English but with my terrible attempt at French and sign language we made it through). The place has ample parking, is clean, comfortable beds, good size rooms and very pretty. First disappointment was it was difficult to find (I should have researched better!) and there was NOTHING nearby, nowhere to eat!, Carcassonne itself was the best place for a meal, about half an hour away. That said if you are happy in the middle of the countryside it could be perfect for you. Second disappointment, the family have lots of dogs, kept in kennels as i think they are probably working dogs, but they bark A LOT, until they are locked up for the night and they start again when they are let out about 8am (again if you like dogs barking you'll be fine!). Next, really disappointed with the pool( the photo looks amazing but...) it was not blue with crystal clear water but a dark green and looked totally unfit to be swam in, my children were extremely upset and 'didn't want to risk it'! Lastly, don't bother paying 7Euros each for breakfast. It consisted of juice, hot drink and a couple of croissants!

stayed here for a couple of nights and would have liked to stay longer. Owners have only recently moved in and started chambres d'hotes - all the rooms have been very nicely refurbished, there's a great pool, a reasonable tennis court and everyone is very anxious to make your stay a good one. It's a big old farmhouse down its own private track - completely surrounded by forest which is full of deer, wild boar and other animals. The family will take you out 'on safari' to see all these when they do their evening rounds (they manage the woods for winter hunting). A quiet spot, but there's a nice auberge just down the road for meals, and only 20mins to Carcassonne/Limoux, and well placed for the cathar castles.

A moment suspended and rest with a simple and warm family welcome! .......
