Brett and Sue are outstanding hosts. The property is immaculately furnished and prestinely clean. Lots of parking and secure bicycle shed. Very comfortable accommodation and mere walking minutes to restaurants, shops and Thermal pools. No doubt we will return. By far the best stay we've had in Hanmer Springs!!

Great location. Short walking distance to pools and restaurants. Warm, comfortable rooms with everything you need for your stay in Hanmer Springs. Very friendly and welcoming team. We had a slight mix up with our booking but they were very quick to sort things for us. Will definitely be back.

Settlers is a great place to stay. Located in a quiet street of the main road but still on an easy stroll distance from the pools, restaurants (No 31 just around the corner!) and shops. The complimentary pool towels is a great service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back and recommend it.

Very clean and tidy motel. Walking distance into the town. Great having easy access to towels for the hot pools. COVID restrictions meant there was no daily room service or daytime access to the laundry, but although this was unusual as we are in alert level orange, it did not impact our stay as we were asked if we needed anything refreshed. Chocolates on the bed on arrival was a lovely touch!

Hi Lynne, many thanks for your feedback on your stay here at Settlers and we're pleased to hear you had a nice time. We apologize for any inconveniences you may have encountered during your stay, but we are still trying our best to keep guests and staff safe from all the bad germs lurking around so that has meant having to adapt a little. The laundry is always available to our guests in the afternoon once we have finished in there, and of course as you stated, we're more than happy to replenish amenities and change toweling and linen :) We hope to welcome you back to Settlers sometime soon.

Excellent property. May be a little overpriced. Very clean. Helpful welcoming staff. Well equipped rooms. Quite location. Handy to restaurants and hot pools ,mountains and outdoor activities. Easy to book. Good wide parking spaces.

A great motel. Excellent location - central but not on the main road so lovely and quiet. Room was comfy, cosy and clean. Enjoyed the view from the 2nd floor room over the rooftops of the adjacent buildings to the mountains in the background. Staff and owners so helpful - felt very much at home.

Had lovely stay at the Settler Motel. My unit was very cozy and well appointed. The sounds of the bellbirds singing outside my window was amazing. I felt very welcomed throughout my stay. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back to stay again
