Welcome to Alpine Adventure Holiday Park, your family holiday destination in Hanmer Springs in the beautiful unspoiled South Island of New Zealand. Situated just 2.5km outside the town in a quiet, bush-clad valley at the foot of Jack’s Pass, the park is set on the site of an historic staging post once used by drovers and musterers bringing stock through to Molesworth Station. Even today this is still the largest working farm in the South Island High Country of New Zealand. We are pleased to offer a large range of Hanmer Springs Accommodation options to suite all tastes and budgets. The park boasts the best facilities around including a pool, games room, adventure playground, bikes and more.

We have stayed here twice now both times taking our little dog. We were booked into the tourist flat for 1 night, we booked on line but decided we would like to stay 2 nights, however when we arrived and asked if it was possible to stay 2 nights we were told they were fully booked but had a kitchen cabin we could have for 2 nights they took us over to look at it. It was much better than I expected so we took it just paying a little extra for the second night. The camp grounds are lovely and peaceful, kitchen cabin has everything except a bathroom but the toilet/shower block is so close and always warm and inviting, extremely clean we love the music and pot plants showers are AMAZING. The cabin we stayed in was nice and clean and had everything we needed including a little fridge and TV. We will definitely be coming back and back. Thankyou for your friendly hospitality 🙂

Will never stay here again and would definitely not recommend it. Stayed in a cabin for one night. Got charged for my little dog and it was already over priced. The cabin was old, tired, outdated, dirty and had a terrible smell. There was grass growing up the stairs to the cabin, burn mark on wall next to oven and food on floor around oven. You can not get your car close to cabin to unpack. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!! They need to have a health inspector check it out!

We expected a basic family cabin, but we got a well equipped, spacious, modern, tidy, exceptionally clean, warm cabin. Plenty for the kids to do, SKYTV, swimming pool, friendly hosts, tranquil setting surrounded by trees. We all enjoyed coming back here after spending the day at Hanmer Springs thermal pools. Highly recommend!

For the traveller who enjoys the peace and quiet of nature, this is the place to come when visiting Hanmer. The bird-song in the morning is simply outstanding as the Park is set in bush like surroundings at the base of hills. The self contained unit was warm and comfortable, we just love it here. We only come here when in town.
