A clean and well equipped apartment with plenty of room.
The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Extra towels were provided free of charge for use in the hot springs.
Of the 8 different places we stayed on our New Zealand holiday this was our favourite by far.

Lovely private patio for outdoor dining, connects to the lawn area for the child to run around. The two level apartment is spacious, clean and the apartment and property is well-maintained. The shower water pressure will blow you away. Short drive or bike to central Hanmer.

We stayed two nights for a wedding. The location was a little way out of town but not far at all (5 mins drive max or a 20 min walk) and perfect for our needs. The apartment was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. We had everything we needed.
We stayed in the disabled friendly apartment which was lovely. just struggled a little with the shower and managed to flood the bathroom a few times so went through a lot of towels, sorry to the poor cleaners!! We had a heat pump in the main room but maybe a small fan for the bedrooms (as it became very hot at night) could be good? Very minor though and still managed to get a good night sleep.
We would 100% stay again and couldn’t fault anything else. Although the hotel was completely full we didn’t hear a single noise from any other customers and had great privacy. Thank you Hanmer apartments :)

Our unit was perfect for the three of us. Very clean and tidy with exactly what we needed (well equipped kitchen). Nice and warm with the heat pump and a view of the mountains.
We stayed two nights and used the provided pool towels for the Hanmer Pools. Also used the free shuttle to get to and from our dinner in town.
Would definitely stay again.

Hanmer Apartments set themselves apart as beautifully designed, well-equipped, and solidly built to the standard one would find in a custom luxury townehome. This was our first overnight stay in Hanmer Springs and we were absolutely delighted with our accommodation. Surprisingly affordable, these immaculately maintained two-bedroom units have the 'feel' of a modern private residence. They are conveniently located just a couple of minutes drive to the quaint and picturesque Hanmer Springs village where one can enjoy the world class thermal pools and all other local attractions. Still Hanmer Apartments are sufficiently removed from the bustling town centre to offer quiet relaxation and an excellent sleep. The owner/hosts are knowledgeable and very helpful with recommendations that will maximize your Hanmer Springs experience. They even supply thick luxurious towels for you to take with you when you visit the spas. We visited in late February 2020 and are already looking forward to our next stay!

This would be the best accommodation we have experienced in the South Island! Checked in and found the host Shane very engaging and has so much knowledge of this whole area. The apartment we where lucky enough to get was ground floor accessible with very well appointed 2 large bedrooms with an equally large bathroom with a wet floor shower with plenty of grab rails. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance you would need for short or long stays. Really liked that this accommodation was just a short distance from the centre of town and very quiet.

We booked 2 apartments 27-31st Dec. 24. so that we could celebrate with NZ family and UK family visiting. It was the perfect home from home venue. We even managed dinner for 8 outside one evening.
Amy & Shane were the perfect 'hosts' offering information and advice about the area. Of course the Springs were a draw plus lovely walks.
The town has plenty of good cafes/restaurants and other attractions. We thoroughly recommend a stay here with very reasonable prices, lovely clean and comfortable facilities plus peace and tranquility in their lovely surroundings.

Amy & Shane were the perfect 'hosts' offering information and advice about the area. Of course the Springs were a draw plus lovely walks.

The apartment was perfect for the four of us (Two Couples) travelling together, clean, quiet and plenty of room. The apartment met all of our needs to be able to relax. They even had towels to use at the hot springs. The location is about a two minute drive into the centre of town which is nice as it’s very peaceful.

Super quiet modern clean apartments ideal for families…my kids loved the bedroom up on the mezzanine floor! We rented two seperate rooms next to each other so the kids could have plenty of space which they sure did. Lovely comfortable beds and bedding, modern and really clean. No complaints from us and if we come back we will definitely choose to stay here again.
