Welcome to The Inn at Great Bay Bed and Breakfast. Your luxury suite accommodations await you! The Inn was purchased in 2006 by Rohan Moxam. Rohan grew up in Treasure Beach and has been a business owner and supporter in the area for many years. He left his beloved town 34 years ago in pursuit of gaining the very best culinary and hospitality training and education. He has delighted patrons for over 28 years with his cuisine, his humor, compassion and artistic sense. Rohan's lifelong dream came to fruition when he returned home and purchased the Inn and completely renovated it. His dreams and aspirations are vast and ongoing. We look forward to helping you plan your perfect vacation or event and also in making new lifelong friends. To reach The Inn at Great Bay, you can fly into Montego Bay or Kingston and from there it is a two hour drive from either city through the lovely countryside you will find in Jamaica, and where you can meet the local fisherman and farmers. All rooms are designer decorated and are air conditioned and have ceiling fans. Each room features it's own screened in balcony, bathroom which includes a shower/tub and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Suites also provide wifi and television. The property is two minutes walk to the beach, and we have a separate guard house and two guard dogs for your security. A separate laundry room is located on the property. The host and hostess reside on the property and will take care of all your cleaning and cooking. They will also take care of any special requests and concierge services. We can arrange fishing and boating excursions. Our guides can take you to the best fishing holes in the area. Imagine going out and catching your own dinner, and bringing it back to the Inn and having it chef prepared. You can choose to spend an incredible day cruising up the Black River to explore the wildlife, crocodiles, and exotic bird sanctuaries and you can enjoy the versatile shopping that Black River has to offer. Your boating excursion can also take you to Pelican Bar, where you can whale and dolphin watch while you enjoy some amazing local cuisine and cocktails. We are also excited to now be offering scuba excursions for our guests as well. A sports park is located 10 minutes away where you can play basketball, tennis or soccer and cricket.

completely un-staffed, waiting for more than an hour in the rain to even get into the room which was not clean at all, kitchen was filthy with old food on the stove. Only one place to eat. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CAR TO STAY HERE. Rooms have no privacy, huge unnecessary closet that has a window into hallway that isn't secure. Some strange person lives in room 6, its completely filthy in there and the smell comes from under the door into the dining area. Completely disappointing based on the extremely old pics they advertise on line and its current state which is in terrible need of massive updating. There isn't much beach, it more like mud than sand. But if you want remote, distillate, filthy, no where to eat, unsafe place to stay. Then this is the place for you. Definite value for money if you don't care where you stay!

We stayed her for my Nans funeral as the house was too packed and it really was really lovely to be down the road with plenty of space! We had one king bed two queen beds. Now one bed seem really weak and made a sound to rest on it which was ok because we had two other beds large beds and we avoided one bed for the duration lol , the main guy Bersha was lovely what a gent! the toilet blocked a few times but it’s nothing as he was happy to help us at the drop of a hat. The hotel was clean and internet and cable worked brilliant A/C fully working also and clean towels provided with more on request. The house keeping is left to you but the respect you privacy and the area is very safe and I felt very comfortable. I will be booking again as it’s really a home from home. Little updates won’t hurt but it’s great for the value and we have the lobster pot within a 3 minute walk so yummy! There’s a bit going on. The bar upstairs was not open but we didn’t mind as the fridge kept the drinks cool and we had a car to get about. Will be booking again ASAP!

We stayed here in mid-March and had an incredible experience! (That’s us in the Inn'a photo eating dinner on the patio!!!) I had the time of my life here! Treasure Beach, overall, is worth a visit. It’s a great way to get away from the chaos of the resort towns and enjoy a relaxing, quiet experience. The best part is the opportunity to experience the local culture. Anyway, about the Inn!! We were so extremely pleased with our stay. Charlie, Vern, and Heidi run the Inn. They provided top-notch service and were truly wonderful people to get to know. Charlie is an AMAZING chef – make sure you arrange at least one night of his grilled lobster! It was to die for! Each morning, Charlie makes you a delicious homemade Jamaican breakfast (included in the price of your stay). The portions are generous, tasty, and he never repeated the same meal during our week there. My favorite was his eggs and franks. This quickly became my favorite part of the day. Ask him during breakfast to prepare dinner for you. If you want to lobster, tell him early in your trip, as he might need to wait a day or two to get one right off the boat for you. Charlie is also happy to arrange transportation and touring services for you. He was a fantastic host. In addition, you’ll see Heidi around the Inn, who cleans the rooms (and does an incredible job). The room was always kept spotless and beautifully cleaned. Vern is the property manager and can often be found puttering around in the yard or the inn. We left feeling like friends with all 3 of them. I could go on and on about the people here, but I’ll move onto the Inn itself.. The Inn is right on the beach. You’ll fall asleep each night listening to the rough waves of the ocean. It’s safe in this little fishing village, so leave your windows wide open all night and all day! Enjoy the cool sea breeze in your room. Lovely patios on each room overlook the beach. The rooms are nothing too fancy – don’t expect a big screen TV or the lavish comforts of an all-inclusive resort. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The Inn gave me a chance to unwind and live a simple, peaceful existence during my week there! Plus, the beds are perfectly comfortable, large, and the rooms themselves are also very spacious. Make sure you walk up to the roof and watch the sun set. Bring your own drinks up there, and live it up. You’ll probably have the whole place to yourselves. The landscape was well cared for and very peaceful. There is a lively family next door, who often plays hip Reggae tunes, and fills the air with laughter from their kids. It’s the type of place you just have to go to yourself – words could never do it justice. We can’t wait to go back again for our next vacation.. I’m already begging my husband to book our next trip! I have a feeling we’ll be back many more times.

Stayed here with family for a night, lovely quiet location, rooms are big but need updating a lot, we had suite for 3 people which consist of two double beds, a large table and chairs, fridge.Shower didn't work that well and you have to hold the toilet handle down to flush the toilet .would be a perfect spot if looked after. Next to the beach and fishing boats. good for a quick stay

The Inn at the Great Beach is a very peaceful and quiet place. This property is just next to the beach at the Great Bay which is a part of Treasure Besch area. It's around 5km from the others beaches and you can get there by land, no walking access by the beach. Great Bay is very small fishing village, with one shop, two bars and few houses. The beach is very small. The Inn has the rooms with comfortable beds and bathrooms. There is poor wifi at the property. Breakfast is very small, not too many choices. But there is a kitchen so if you have time you can prepare dinner by yourself.

My mother and I stayed 5 wonderful nights at the Inn at Great Bay. We were greeted with a warm welcome and were made to feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our first night here was NYE. Bertram arranged for a driver to take us down to Jack Spratt to see the new year in and we had a great time. We spent most of our days/ evenings chilling by the beach and the Lobster Pot (fresh seafood place) getting to know people from the community. Great bay is so peaceful and we truly felt safe and at home. Staff went out of their way to ensure my mother had a great 50th birthday and to celebrate they kindly arranged a small gathering at the inn. Bertram cooked a tasty fish dinner which was followed by Charmaine's delicious fruit cake. Entertainment was provided by her talented husband who performed some classic acoustic songs. We stayed in the seaview twin room which was clean, spacious and comfortable and has a nice balcony and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and filling. We had eggs, pancakes/ toast, fruit and tea. And we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Lobster dinner cooked by Mr Moxam on our first night. If you're looking for a chilled, comfortable and peaceful place to stay, close to the beach, grocery store and place to eat... then this is it. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer but we will definetly be returning. Thanks again to Mr Moxam, Bertram and Charmaine. Take care and see you all again soon. x

Our mission team of 17 people from the United States plus our Jamaican driver, stayed at the Inn for seven nights. Alex and Ruby were awesome hosts, who did so much to make our stay enjoyable. We were very close to the beach and spent as much time as we could there. We loved doing our devotions, as a group, on the roof patio. We could hear the sea and feel the warm breezes. Alex provided coconut or fresh fruit every day, and helped us experience Jamaica with warm hospitality.
