The golf courses were in impeccable condition and despite being busy, the course marshals did a great job of making us feel like we were the only ones on the course. It was a fantasy golfing experience for the whole family.
After golf we dined at the clubhouse restaurant. The service was quick and the wait staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. They even catered to our daughter who has celiac disease.
We also spent plenty of time at the heated outdoor pool, which was well maintained and offered a beautiful view of the Brudenell River. The kids absolutely loved it.
The cottages were spacious and had all the comforts of home. We felt very relaxed and will definitely return again. Excellent value.
My only negative comments would be that the room could use a revamp. It seems as though it has not been updated in probably 20 years, infact, I would guess the entire hotel has not been updated in that long. It was not a deal breaker, by any means, but it was noticeable. My other negative is that the spa is only open a few days a week and only until 4pm, I would have loved to have a treatment, perhaps if they were open a bit later . All in all, we had a fantastic time, I would definitely recommend this resort!
The location was great having 2 of the top golf courses on site that you can just walk to.
We ate at the Club House one night and the food was good but they were very busy.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return there again if we do go back to PEI. The location is central to most of the golf courses nearby which is what we liked.
