Nice welcome by receptionist, our room was very big with a terrace overlooking the hotel grounds and the sea (a few miles away). The bedding was great with very soft bedsheets. Nice outdoor pools (too cold to swim though) but there is also a big indoor pool and jacuzzi. However the hotel corridors could use a bit refurbishment. There is a big car park as well. A great place for golfers!!!

We spent 6 nights at Dolce Fregate in September. We chose a room at Les Bastides and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was peaceful, our private patio was enjoyable every evening. The room was cleaned daily to our complete satisfaction. My husband is physically challenged and uses a walker. The few steps to the room provided no problems. Unfortunately, as we have found all over France, there was only a ladder for the pool. No steps, no handrail. Again. Has the French hotel branch not yet realized that guests with special needs vacation too? The road to Les Bastides is full of potholes, that seem to be useful for nothing more than a complete stop when driving. Otherwise, we were completely happy with our accommodations and will return next year. A storm in the area had…

Rooms were quite basic but comfortable but could do with e renovation . Gym downstairs was musty and equipment was run down and in need of repair. Frustratingly the pool was only open from 9am so no early morning dips allowed . Some nice walking tracks in surrounding countryside. The food at the al a carte restaurant was amazing and the steak meal was one of the best ever had , especially enjoyed with some of the local Bandol wines. The bar which open on the terrace in the early evenings ,overlooking the countryside to the ocean was very relaxing . Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked an apartment in the Bastide-section, which seems to be almost new. We did not hear. The apartments was new, lovely bathroom, good beds, nice kitchen for breakfast. the balcony or syn terrace provided shadow and outstanding views. A few yards from our apratment we found also a pool. This pool area seems to be made for larger groups, but bar and cafe was closed and beside an Italian family with and infant - there was no one to be seen. The hotel building itself seems to be passed its glory days and shows some signs of wear and tear. The pool area, withe three pools in stairs are clean and delightfull. It was hardly any other visitours and our children had just company with 3-4 others. The surroundings are amazing with wineyards, lush pine forest and view of the…

We have spent our holiday at Dolce Fregate for the 7th Year in a row. As usual we felt very much at home. The team from Adrienn gets 10/10, housekeeping 7/10 because we did not recieve shampoo and shower gel for several days, other staff also get 10/10. The location also deserves 10/10. The building itself only gets 5/10 and needs a lot of work: almost no paint left on the window frame, mould on the tiles in the swimming pool toilets, .....building is not worth 4 stars....

Dear Sir, I thank you for your very fair comments, especially from a loyal customer. For your information, important renovations of the hotel are planned for the end of 2020. I will investigate to see why the hospitality products have not been renewed. Our apologies for that. Do not hesitate to contact me personally for your next stay. Best regards,

Nice hotel, good location if you want to attend an event at Le castellet, we were there for Formula 1. The plus is that it has a free parking. Stayed in one of the flat which is the new part of the property with a small kitchen, dinning table, 1 bedroom, 1 sofa cum bed, shower and bathtub and outshine terrace with sun bed. Room was nice and clean and fully equipped. Just ashamed that we paid for a room with sea view and had none due to the trees in front of the terrace. We had our breakfast outside since we were never ready on time for the hotel breakfast. We use to go to Simone a bakery in Le plan du castellet less than 10 min away (worth the drive). Food at the hotel restaurant is very nice and can be enjoyed on a terrace with a very nice view.

What fortune to have been able to stay at this resort - we were there using an RCI trade. It is the perfect location for exploring much of Provence. The town square of St. Cyr-sur-Mer has the model Bertholdi built when designing the Statue of Liberty. The gold-clad statue is stunning.

The apartments are spacious and the view from the rooms are outstanding. The bed was firm and we slept well. The amenities need updating, the towel warmers in the Bathrooms did not operate and the overall appearance of the room could use a refresh. The staff was courteous and the location was convenient for short trips to the surrounding beach communities.

Great golf packages, rooms need update, excellent food and wine, drop-dead gorgeous views. The course was in excellent shape, but they do charge a bit more than expected for the carts, not included in the package.

for 0,5 l bottle of mineral water that you grab from your room fridge, which in most of the hotels would be for free, here you have to pay 5 euro! Breakfasts are not too tasty, some of the tomatoes were moldy.
