🇫🇷The last time I traveled between Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, I wanted to take a night's rest in between, so I stayed at the 18th-century castle winery-Chateau Senailhac. Each room in Seneia Winery corresponds to the name of the land, which is very artistic.
.
🏨The entire castle hotel is very well preserved, the carpets look spotless, the bed is very large, the room is equipped with a fireplace, old-fashioned French tables, chairs and displays, open the retro patterned curtains, open the oversized windows, and enjoy the beautiful view of the green trees outside the window That's how it came into view. On a sunny day, you can sit on a chair outside and bask in the sun, and you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset at sunset.
.
🍇It is still the grape growing season, so it is quite amazing to see the staff visiting the vineyard early in the morning, imagining the branches bearing fruit and making delicious wine.
.
🥛You can go to a town near the castle for a bistro in the evening, and you can also have breakfast at the castle. Cheese, milk, coffee, croissant, etc. are all available.
.
☀️Here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, just quietly getting along with nature, you can live a very comfortable life.
.
🌟Book rooms can be purchased on Booking🔍, 💰 ranging from £150-300, depending on the peak season.

The Chateau Senailhac is one of the most charming places to stay in Bordeaux area. The rooms are beautiful, with gorgeous views of the gardens and wineries. The bathrooms are spacious and nicely appointed. There, one can really relax and forget about all the stress of the big city. The atmosphere is enchanting, the Senailhac wine is absolutely amazing (don't miss the tasting!), and Alain, the Manager is the most pleasant and helpful. This place is absolutely "the tops"!

Booked this Chateau one night as a stopover on the driving to Biarritz. It turned out to be a great stay, the rooms are large and clean, large vineyard for an evening walk and exploring. We had a tour inside the wine producing line, which was an eye opening experience. Got ourselves couple bottle of wine as the tasting, the wine was in fact very pleasant, and not expensive (10EUR per bottle), I regretted that only took two bottles.

Nice and generous breakfast, the only downside was no dinner served, but not a deal break. Would definitely go again if I ever pass by.

We stayed at this beautiful 200 years old Chateau withing driving distance of Bordeaux. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed fresh air, serene atmosphere, and the view overlooking the vineyards. Nice estate! The estate keeper Alain was very friendly with a good sense of humour and spoke English (always a plus:) We had a small picnic outside with wine and cheese (of course). Very enjoyable experience!

I’m planning road trip with my family and booked this Chateau more than a month ago. Called them couple of times – they reassured me that everything is OK.
Decided to call again just a week before the departure and …. My reservation was cancelled because somebody booked whole property!!!
Good luck to book anything in a high season one week in advance with 3 yeas old baby!
Good thing I called and not just showed up at their door

So glad to have found this B&B to stay. It was the opportunity to experience France in classic French style. The vines were loaded with special Bordeaux grapes following the driveway to the Chateau. Just beautiful. The host was welcoming, friendly and informative about the Chateau and we were left to roam. The room was huge and the bed extremely comfortable. And the bathroom big. We took advantage of a recommended restaurant a few minutes up the road and it was excellent. Everything was spot on. Clean, roomy with use of sitting rooms and TV if needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. Internet is available but that is something which could do with a big upgrade. However, we did not stay there for the internet.

This B&B in an old chateau surrounded by its vineyards is a very peaceful place to stay. If you want nightlife, a bar, wifi or TV in your room then this is not for you though there is a TV and access to a computer in the lounges downstairs. Our host welcomed us and showed us to our room despite us being very early for check in. He also tried manfully to help us log in to the wifi for our tablet and phones in the computer room but we were not successful. He did mention a tour of the bodega but this did not materialise as our hosts left later for the evening leaving us as the only people in the chateau.
Our room was huge and beautifully furnished and decorated to reflect the age and grandeur of the building. Fabric on the walls to match other items in the room. We had arrived on a Sunday and found everywhere closed in Tresses but we did receive a warm welcome from the owner of local sports bar in Pompignac the next village. When we returned to the chateau the hosts kindly offered us the use of the kitchen as we did not want to go out for dinner. Instead we ate a picnic of cheese, pate, bread and salad bought at the local Sunday market in Libourne with a nice bottle of Bordeaux and watched as two young deer appeared from the vineyard to graze in front of the house. Quite surreal.
This was one of the quietest places I have ever stayed in and so we both slept well in our luxurious bedroom. The breakfast, however, was a little disappointing. A basic continental breakfast which did not really match the surroundings and experience we had. A little more effort needs to be made for the Breakfast to match the Bed!

We had a wonderful stay there with the help of our wonderful hosts that live on the property. This is an abandoned Chateau that was completely remodeled around 2002. Rooms have been combined to make enormous suits. You truly feel like royalty here. I think there are only 6 rooms. It's a working winemaking estate. We were there in July so no winemaking then. We started every morning with a tasty Brunch. I must warn you there is no elevator, so pack lightly. I would love to go back some day. I think it was about 25 minutes to downtown Bordeaux.

We arrived on a quiet day during harvest. The grounds are lovely and the chateau is beautifully appointed. Centrally placed between the city of Bordeaux and the wine-growing regions. The manager was quite friendly and helpful, everything was clean and very nice. We were on our own this trip, but this place is ideally suited for family occasions, or business meetings with plenty of private rooms and large central areas. Very nice property, we really enjoyed it!
