We were travelling from Spain to Northern France with our little dog. I looked up pet friendly hotels and thought this one would be nice. It advertised as 59€ per night. We booked in and they charged an extra 10€ for the dog. The breakfast was 10€ each. Then we had a meal which was 14.50€. The room was hot and stuffy, so I opened the window and there was a live band right outside. Not a bad band but not what we wanted when we had spent 8 hours driving. The toilet door did not close. The shower was useless. The bed, I don't know if uncomfortable or not because we were exhausted. Went to the evening meal. Everyone bunched up in a line, no one seemed to understand distancing, I got annoyed with people trying to push past us that had booked the Spanish evening. The serving staff were polite and sweet, But the meal was abysmal. Gaspacho, which we actually like but was tasteless. A pork ball with some sort of gravy with a revolting mushroom risotto. My husband doesn't eat mushrooms so left that, The pork looked pink in the middle so I didn't eat that. So for 14.50€ a piece we had very little. I kept the pork and gave it to our dog, Morning and breakfast, a buffet affair, I went to get a coffee and got told off by an austere woman, I understood because of Covid the customers couldn't touch things, fine but no one was in there when we got in the breakfast room. A hard roll from the meal the night before, a yogurt, a coffee, one pat of butter and one little serving of jam. 10.00€ each. So the room costing 59.00€ to a bill of 119.60€ was a bit of a shock and we are going back to Spain at the end of this month and will be avoiding this hotel. The wifi was free but timed out after 4 hours and had to log back in. If we'd wanted to use the pool or anything else they advertise it's all extra.....

Although this is a hotel devoted principally to the French “cure”, something like “taking the waters”, we used it as a stopover from Spain travelling to northern France. Our bedroom was somewhat tired and in need of modernisation and embellishment. However, the bed was supremely comfortable. We had a set menu dinner for €14.50 which was good although the portions were on the small side. The €10 breakfast was excellent with charcuterie, cereals, croissants, and much else beside, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite its somewhat rundown appearance we would return.

We had a one night stopover en-route from Portugal back to the UK. The room we had is in serious need of a makeover - we were warned at reception that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment, let's hope they hurry up! In the toilet (separate from the bathroom) there is an industrial-type toilet roll and container (the kind you may see in a public toilet) which is oh-so not cool. The bidet is in the bathroom. All very strange. The setting is lovely, in a quiet little village. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was OK, we did not try breakfast. The restaurant is run independently of the hotel, by the way. Be aware that very little English is spoken by the hotel and restaurant staff (we got by with my school French) and there are no menus in English either. Early next morning the car park was full with visitors to the thermal spa, which seems very popular and means the hotel is full of people sitting and walking around in white robes and slippers. I would urge the hotel to concentrate their efforts on the accommodation side of the business if they want to attract travellers, otherwise this venue will always be just a thermal spa with a few rooms on offer for emergencies. We paid €49 for the room + €10 for the dog and a couple of €s for local taxes - I consider this overpriced with the current state of the room. There's a lovely little boulangerie in the village which serves coffee and croissant for €2

We visited the Hydro about 8 years ago and to be honest found little change in the decoration. It is a hydro (health establishment) which is what it looks like - a lot of peoplr milling about wearing white towelling dressing gowns, which is obviously its main appeal. The accommodation is adequate, but a little tired. The menu in the restaurant appeared to be very good, as we remembered from our last visit, but we were only offered a 14 euro option - which was a 3 course meal including a 25cl pichet of wine per person. The food was well cooked, but the presentation was not good. the breakfast however was very good, with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and croissants and bread. The staff were extremely helpful, but the impressiion was that it was a health spa which had rooms as well. There was also an outside pool which from memory was very warm as it was a therapy pool

I was at Logis thermal with my family -- we just needed a place to stay overnight. The location is rather clumsy, the comfort is quite average, the look of the place is old fashioned. No air conditioning in rooms ... The room decoration is quite simple and made out of cheap materials ... The pool is right next to the parking lot. It is fed with warm water coming from nearby sources, and with the accompanying sulfur smell ...
