It was my second time trying this hotel for Business. It is a small hotel with small and clean rooms but you feel at home. Warm welcoming reception that you fill they are waiting for you. Electric kettle is available in the room.
The Burgas is a cheap hotel its clean but there is no frills with it no kettle or anyway of making yourself a hot drink the food is typical for the area not very good the breakfast was a mish mash of the night before's left overs and if you are not in for breakfast on time then your choice is even more limited as they put the food out but do not restock so once its gone its gone. The main meal is a none event as they have clearly no idea about how to cook or present and whatever you do, do not order more than one thing for your main course NB ordered a side order of chips to go with my main meal the chips arrived half an hour before the main meal..
I have visited Burgas for business and this hotel was conveniently located, not far from my customer's headquarters. Good standard of room, big bed - perhaps only breakfast could be better. Not sure if it is the best location if you visit Burgas for holidays but for one night during business trip it was better than OK.
I had to stay here for 1 night, thankfully! This hotel looks great from the outside, however a totally different place inside. It's old, worn, smelly with the old fashioned air conditioning that makes a rattling noise all night. The staff are friendly & helpful, however they should consider re-decorating this place as it does not live up to some of the pictures on their website.
Excellent location for city vacation. Main sights in walking distance. Main shopping street with restaurants in the neighbourhood. Taxi stand, railway station and bus station within 100 meters. Yet inside hotel is peaceful and quit. And of course the beach with the large garden area is nearby. Larger shopping malls locate about 5-10 kilometres from this center, but the local busses can take you there in 15-30 minutes, one trip costs about 0.5 euros. Taxi trip form airport to hotel burgas costs about 20 euros. Hotel rooms are quite nice yet not luxurious, clean yet some things might need fixing (like burned light bulb or a bit loosen curtain) but all in all these things create somewhat cozy feeling. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay with bacon, eggs, bread, yoghurt, etc and various sweet cakes and fruits for dessert. So one does not leave breakfast hungry, but maybe there could be some more vegetables if one does not want to start off the day with kind of heavy breakfast.…
