First of all, the pictures on the Booking sites do not do this place any justice! This place is incredible, beauty at its best.
Emily is fantastic, she made sure everything was perfect prior to our arrival. On arrival our beautiful Bali villa was ready for us to occupy. Check in was very straightforward, you are given wristbands for the resort so you can tap as you go!
Our villa is amazing, the downstairs room only has fans so it gets quite hot in the night, A/C would definitely be beneficial. There was a beautiful birthday welcome on our bed in the Master Bedroom, I was very happy with the gesture.
The facilities are amazing, everything is pretty much home grown. The food menu is all Vegan, so be prepared if you’re a meat eater that you won’t be eating any animal products at all. But rest assured, the food is incredible!
My favourite staff member was definitely Eric the Barman! His knowledge in mixology is amazing, the drinks he prepared are phenomenal & he’s great to converse with. Thanks Eric, you definitely made our stay here one to remember!
Another highlight was the restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Carlos was great, he had all the breakdown for every dish on the menu. He was fun, polite & just a nice guy! The food really was great, the flavours in every dish were just amazing.
The staff really take pride in their jobs & the grounds. Rogelio made sure we had a great vibe at the bar & jacuzzi area, he really made us laugh.
If you want to have a great mellow vibe in the Jungle then look no further than Selva!

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful resort. It has a calm and serene atmosphere, complemented by the exceptional hospitality of the staff, whose genuine friendliness added a personal touch. The resort also offers an amazing vegan restaurant with very pleasing portion sizes and creative and delicious plant-based dishes. Being here is truly uplifting and rejuvenating, it inspires an eco friendly and sustainable lifestyle. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a harmonious retreat in Costa Rica.

Simply stunning grounds, amazing sunset views and beautiful rooms make this hotel a one of a kind. We did not want to leave this beautiful nature resort, our room was beautiful and comfortable with a large deck to sit out and watch the sunset. The staff were super kind and helpful, food was good, drinks even better enjoyed while sitting in the infinity hot tub watching the sunset. Just know that the drive up is not for the faint hearted, it is miles up a dirt, pot-holed road with a steep drive down into the hotel but once there you will see that those views are worth it and after no time we felt comfortable driving into town for exploring. You won't regret staying here and you won't want to leave!

The hotel didn't tell us ahead of time that they hate kids, but when we arrived with our family, they said kids were not allowed, and creeped on us the whole 15 minutes we were there. This Igor guy picked up a phone and yelled "THERE IS A KID ON THE PROPERTY" as if they were going to call the SWAT team on us. Very unfriendly.
Apparently they only cater to trustfund babies who wish they were in their twenties again and feel threatened by the presence of kids because it reminds them of how meaningless their own lives are...

Such a wonderful find for a couple of nights after hiking. The staff were incredibly friendly, lovely food (large portions), great views and a 24/7 pool and hot tub that was never busy. Very tranquil and a good ethos of employing local people and growing some food onsite.

As we ascended up the hill, our location gave new meaning to "off the beaten path." I mean, this path was beaten, but only because its road is less traveled.
Welcome to Selva Armonia! A beautiful hidden haven away from any tourism, yet close enough in case you feel like popping down into Uvita and/or Dominical for a bit of the beach life, restaurant scene, or some shopping.
However, if you don't need any of that, (which you most likely won't), you have everything your imagination contently craves.
From an incredibly crafted outdoor bamboo yoga studio hidden among the trees; to a saltwater pool, full bar, and a handcrafted net for lounging with your friends or family hundreds of feet above the jungle, with a full 180 degrees view of the Pacific Ocean and the infamous Whales Tales.
The property has about 3 different types of accommodations from small and cozy rooms with shared bathrooms to your own private cabin with a beautifully crafted outdoor shower so you can rinse in the wildlife.
There's a beautiful waterfall approximately 25 minutes away by 4x4 among many birds, bugs, and botany life breathing around every corner and crevasse.
I highly, highly recommend this wonderful, bountiful, charming, and peaceful place for relaxing, retreating, and fully resetting.

A true haven of peace all comfort in the middle of the forest. We loved this hotel for a night of our honeymoon. Yoga class included in the morning in an incredible Shala with ocean views. Outdoor bathroom. Room all wooden, beautiful. Perfect comfort. The vegan restaurant with a sublime view, as well as the pool area and outdoor Jacuzzi + hanging hammocks. Wow! Need I say more? This beautiful property is a one of a kind, from the beautiful yoga platform overlooking the ocean to the free form salt water swimming pool and jacuzzi. The food is top notch, serving delicious vegan food that is beautifully prepared by the amazing staff. Every little detail on this property has been well thought out and it shows, from the beautiful greenhouse to the “net platform” surrounded by Tiki touches overlooking the ocean. It really make this place light up at night. Check out the world renown Dj’s who come here to spin! Amazing entertainment and amazing accommodations....it’s at the top of our list for places to stay. Selva is a truly magical place. I stayed for two weeks and fell in love with the retreat center. Everyone is deeply passionate about their work and goes above and beyond to make the guests feel like home.
If you are looking delicious vegan food, breathtaking sunsets and a yoga deck every yogi would dream of, this is your place to go!

The treatment by the hotel staff is terrible, they are very disinterested. we booked a room and they gave it to someone else because of a mistake by the receptionist. when we arrived at night through a street that is difficult to access, they gave us no solution and we had to leave.

About a 10-15min drive to the local beach, great for surfing! Renting a car would be best, but you can also call a taxi. Apologies for the lack in response. We are just now seeing this! We hope you're able to visit one day!
