The place is very quiet, natural and cozy. It is nice to wake up early in the morning and go to the riverside bench and just enjoy the quiet and the river. The place is great! It is a bit far from the beach, but close to downtown and where the buses arrive. The place has room for improvement in terms of the structure. But Aviad is very excited and working on it. He was a great host, just made us feel like at home! Could not be better.

Treated as family, always smiling and friendly people. Hot water wich is always good worked great and the food was awsome. Cold beer on the spot and I actually found it very cheap (30$ for a couple). Lots of things to do nearby. Recommended 100%.

The Green Forest House is located in what I consider a central location but not at all crowded with other properties. The 2 main attractions in Uvita are the waterfalls and the beach and it is midway between both. Things are spread out in Uvita so sometimes a taxi is nice. Avi is very familiar with the area and very helpful if you need any help. A highlight for me was the great breakfast Avi can prepare. He is a chief and has worked on cruise boats. I without a doubt will tell you his breakfast is the best I have ever had while traveling in Cental Am. Also, wifi is important to me and it was very good at this location. Do yourself a favor and stay at a great location and with a great host.

My husband and I came across this little B&B by chance and great fortune. Green Forest is perfect for couples and for backpackers wanting some good company and a good clean atmosphere. Guy runs the place and makes you feel like a family visitor rather than a hotel guest. He welcomes all travelers, provides delicious breakfasts and dinners. With Guy you feel like you are at your friend's house hanging out. He will help you with all travel arrangements and will make sure you are able to get around the area and enjoy all that it has to offer. A short ten minute walk to the beach, to the Whale's Tail, makes this the perfect place to stay. Can't say enough good things about our stay here. Thanks Guy! Andrea and Jordan

My stay here was nice Guy looked after me very well and the house is nice and quiet area. Close to the beach and NP. Nice horseback riding trips to the beach and mountain ask for Saoul!!!" I recommend this place for couple and single travellers

I got here by mistake... And I really happy for that :-) The place is near by for everything, espcelly to the beach but without the prices there. The place is not Luxury , but for 25$ its really all what you need. The river in the back yard its nice to have but not the best I sow in CR. The food is great. Tray the shakshoka in the morning. Just get relax ,find hamek and tranquil withe the music of the nature.

Eliran Dvash(owner/manager) was welcoming and gracious. We showed up very late after being lost(our fault). Signs to Green Forest need to be bigger and a night /light reflective paint should be used(drove past it, three times!). Few street lights made it hard to see the sign at 10:pm. Needless to say, we pulled up tired and hungry. Our reservations had been held(even though no $$$ had exchanged hands/no credit card hold). He prefers to be paid in local currency/no credit cards(no $$ or information exchanged hands at that late hour though- He told us to please, make ourselves comfortable and we would talk in the morning about that!). We were in our room, within 5 minutes of arriving and having dinner in fifteen minutes (La Fogata...a short walk up the road:serviceable pizza, instead go for the pasta or chicken).. We woke up to a complimentary breakfast(Chef Eliran), delicious and unexpected. I was delighted & surprised to find a river behind the property and a horse named Peligroso(his) grazing out front. The river is perfect/private for cooling off, siesta or picnic and Eliran promised me, no crocodiles(he killed them all!). The place is rustic/cabina with a great outdoor shower(I loved/used it after a great horse ride with Rosario!), go to a resort if you want/expect more. For the heat, humidity and casual nature of Uvita, the Green Forest is perfect for us(mature nature loving couple). Great place for everyone, kids can be kids(nothing is "delicate", natural safe space, river & small friendly dogs on premises) and Eliran can arrange any tour/lesson you may be interested in. All very affordable. We loved the place, and would be delighted to call it home again.

I enjoyed my stay at green forest because it was close to the supermarket and town while still being quiet. Decent prices, friendly staff and a cute little dog, negrita! They also have coffee and smoothies for a good price and delicious! I would recommend green forest to any budget travelers!

This was our best hostel during the trip. The place now looks a little bit messy but the new manager is taking such a good care of the place. The nature aroud it is very nice especialy the river behind the hostel where you can go and relax. The breakfast israeli style is amazing and the vibe is so chill and comforting. Highly recomend it

We found this hotel by booking and the pictures were a little bit difference than it is. There is a new Israeli manager who is taken care of the business. He is changing and putting in order everything. He is so polite, friendly and closely person. He is a cheff so he can cook you few plates for an additional price. Our room was very small but enough for one night. In front of the hotel there is a river where is so nice go go during the sunset or just woken up. The location is perfect close to some restaurants and the supermarket
