Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our third stay at the Yarrow and we will be back I am sure! We are always made welcome by the excellent friendly staff. This time we were upgraded to a lovely Suite. A real bonus. Breakfast was a varied and tasty buffet with attentive staff on hand.

Great hotel with extremely friendly staff. Our deluxe room was large, light, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was good with a great shower over the bath and toiletries available. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Booked the Travelzoo Taster menu and B&B. Great stay. The room was very spacious and clean. Taster meal was an excellent selection of flavours, complemented by the wine. Bed was very comfortable and nice breakfast - opportunity to have freshly prepared smoked salmon and egg (scrambled or poached) muffin. Help yourself 'full English' if you want more. Nice pastries. Pleasant walk into Broadstairs - lovely town.

We stayed with friends for one night on the 15th March & had a 7 course tasting menu - it was really delicious. Apart from the young receptionist on arrival all the staff were very friendly & cheerful. The buffet breakfast was OK but would have much preferred a freshly cooked breakfast. Overall we would give the experience an 8 out of 10.

Was here for a business event and stayed on and extra night, could have stayed longer, didn’t want to leave. Hard to find a fault. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms clean and bright with everything you need - coffee making facilities, a good hairdryer (essential), beautiful bathroom. The food is exceptional both in the restaurant and in the conference rooms. Excellent value for money, hoping to return with family. The weather was great too!

We have been here before so that has to be the best compliment we can ever give. It's a great hotel. Large, airy rooms, extra pillows if needed( not everyone wants one pillow). The staff are so friendly and helpful too. We had the taster menu. I wasn't too impressed by the mackerel fillet though and started being a bit concerned about what was to follow, as we had an unpleasant experience at another hotel and their tasting menu before, when every single offering was horrendous. However, not here, as the following dishes were amazing! I never believed that I would love ham hock tureen. I am so picky but it was brilliant as was everything that followed. I treated my husband to the wine accompaniment as he had paid for everything else and it was well worth it too. I really love this hotel. As I said if people come back again, it must have been good.

We had a super tasting menu meal and overnight stay in this well appointed hotel, which benefits from modern facilities. Having sole use of the spa for an hour certainly enhanced the experience. The staff were all polite courteous and helpful.

Lovely spacious room, mega bathroom, comfortable bed and excellent food. The tasting menu was impressive and the breakfast was lovely. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Interesting old building with history which has been beautifully modernised. Walking distance from the centre of Broadstairs. Enjoyed our stay and would happily return. MJH
