Great hotel with great food and great people. I had a great and relaxing time there. There is nothing to complain about. The rooms are clean and get cleaned everyday. The personal is always smiling and helpful. They really appreciated it when you tried to say thank you in greek!
The animation was very funny, friendly and motivated. What I enjoyed the most were the evening programs of them. I had so much fun there. In addition you can always play games with them and other guests during the day. They mostly go around and ask kindly for motivated people but also respect a no. Furthermore you should know that there is not a lot to see around the hotel itself. For this case you can rent a car in the hotel for a fair price. With a car you can access the most sights of Rhodes within 30 Minutes. It is worth it! The food there was very delicious. I really loved it especially at the greek evening which is once a week!

People in this place are the best. Starting with the animation crew, through all the staff around dinning room/bars/reception, ending on the managers. All are very kind, open and helpful. Our kid has a strong allergy to milk and eggs and managers them selves made sure that she gets something good without problematic ingredients. We felt as save as home in this matter. (Special thanks from us to Mrs. Manager! ). There is a very nice playground and water park for the kids. Add to this animation crew and your kids shouldn't be bored for a long time. The beach is right outside of the hotel. We had everything we needed at this stay.

We were staying June 2021 with 3 little kids (0, 2, 5) we enjoyed the proximity of the beach and very new water park for the youngest 2 bigger water slides.
There is also a bigger playground area and a baby club which we used evefy day.

The staff are very helpfull, although the "dining" managers are oriented on guests from other countries rather than on "Czechoslovak" families. They quite ignored us.
It is a big hotel so count on a lot of people during lunch/dinner.
With covid restrictions you wait quite a bit for your morning tea/coffee.
The room was tiny, as we had a baby cot as well, so double room wih an extra bed (for 2 younger kids) and a baby bed, it was quite cramped.
The hotel was clean.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review and your kind words. We're pleased to know that you had a nice family holiday in Irene Palace. You're right about the room, it can accommodate max 2+2 (the baby cot is included in capacity). I suggest you were not advised when booked the room. In the dining room Mrs Vaso and all the staff are taking care of all customers, they do not know nationalities, tour operators etc. They assist you at every need or request. Fischer tour operator is a very important partner as well, deserving our utmost attention and service to the customers. We thank you for all your kind words concerning the staff, it encourages all to do our best. We're looking forward to welcoming you again,

Luckily for us we spent first 10 days at 5 star resort Lindos Imperrial which was fabulous. We came here just for 4 days looking for change of scenery. What a mistake it was! This hotel is between 2.5 and 3 stars for facilities, service and food. Rooms have been renovated so they are very comfortable.

Food is not good, poor quality, no variety and looks not fresh. Compare to 3 star resort in Cuba, Cuba is better! We ended up barely eating for breakfast and lunch and eating out for dinner which cost about 100 euro each night for family of 4. So we are very upset we paid money for all inclusive and didn’t even enjoy it. They are also charging for bottle water which I have never seen in all incisive before. Mojito cost 6 euro even if you are all inclusive. bar staff grumpy with huge line ups.

Building and hallways is very old, filthy old green carpet. Pool is very old and very strict life guards who yell at everyone….

Overall, loved Rhodes and other hotel but this was horrible stay luckily only 4 days….perhaps this hotel was badly impacted by pandemic but I feel it should be advertised as 3 star until they improve.
Picture is typical lunch menu.

We thank all the staff of Irene Palace Hotel, everyone was kind and helpful with us, really loving with our baby.
The food was nice with a good variety for adults and children.
The Hotel is suitable for families, with play ground and water park. We didn't miss mini disco, it was really fun.
Outside the Hotel you can find restaurants, shops , a Luna Park, bus stop and car rentals. There is also one in the lobby.
The beach reserved to hotel was nice, not too windy , a mixture of sand and stones.Even if you are a customer you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas.
Water was clean and colorful.
As mentioned before, the staff was good, hard working.
The cleaning service came everyday to tide up and clean our room. It was was nice and recently renovated. Other parts of the hotel seemed older and sometimes you could find some details to fix and to improve.
But di overall impression was really good! We are really grateful for the nice time we had.
Rodhes is a wonderful Island I don't need mention it.
We miss our vacation already, we hope to come back soon!

this is supposed to be a 4* hotel. some parts of it are renovated, but the second floor is not, guess where our room is?
if you want the nice rooms you have to pay 12 eur/day for the superior ones.
ok, no problem but of you say you are a 4* hotel you must first meet the requirments of a 4* hotel, and if you can provide superior accomodation, then ask for more money.

out room is 2* maximum. it smells funny, there is old furniture, cracks in the bathroom - see pictures

the beach is full of stones, the entrance in the water also full of stones. you need water shoes.

Dear Guest, We thank you for your review, providing us the chance to make clear the situation. The hotel is officially of A category (4 stars) including standard rooms. The hotel offers different room types. The standard rooms are located to the privilege 2nd floor, they have beautiful view to the sea or the pool and the sea or to the mountains (open heart). They have the same size as the superior ones and are in a very good condition. The superior rooms have an extra cost. The client chooses the room type he wishes. Concerning the beach, we're proud to inform that the hotel is awarded with the Blue Flag for 30 consecutive years for the cleanliness of the beach and the protection of the sea and the environment. This is all we offer for the wellbeing of our clients, the serenity and the happy vacation. With respect to the ecosystem, we preserve the natural environment and we enjoy in reverse a crestal clear sea and a beautiful beach. We'll be glad to welcome you in the future and we're at your disposal for any help

We have been to the Irene Palace hotel 7 times. We always like to come back here, mainly for its location, equipment and especially for the hotel staff. The hotel is situated in a nice park, by the beach in the center of Kolymbia. It has several swimming pools (for swimmers, children, whirlpool) and water slides.
This September we were accommodated in the renovated room no. 1103. The maid who oversaw our room was a very kind and helpful lady. I can only praise her as our room was always tidy and clean, and our bed linen and towels were regularly changed.
The receptionists were always helpful, kind and smiling. Upon arrival, we didn’t have to wait for accommodation at all. Last day we had a late flight, so we asked for an extended stay. Since they already had our room reserved, they willingly provided us another room for a day.
We had an all-inclusive package. The food was excellent, varied, so there was always plenty to choose from. They kept replenishing the food, so when we arrived a little later, there was still a wide choice.
We admired all the waitresses, waiters, and support staff for managing the canteen so well and organized. We would especially like to highlight the professionalism and hard work of the main manager of the canteen, Mrs. Vasilia. She is a nice, friendly, hardworking, and always smiling lady who handles her work tasks very well. She handles all types of issues very well, her managing skills are perfect.
We are grateful for all the hotel employees, as thanks to them we could enjoy our 12 days’ vacation in peace and quiet. I am sure we will come back again soon.

If you don't speak german you are not at all on the same level as German speaking guests. Some of the staff were very unpleasant without a smile without kidness.
We stayed in a superior room with a sea view. In which we heard evrything around from the cleaners to children's roar or laugher from the room that was 10 rooms from us.
Well , evry day I stood in line for food like somewhere in a canteen.
The hotel lacks a restaurant where local dishes are cooked and where a waiter serves you.

Dear Guest, We thank you for your review that gives us opportunity to answer to your comments. Germans are 12% of the total hotel capacity. Other languages may were not recognizable by you. About the staff, we inform you that comes from the nearest villages and other parts of the island, therefor, smile and hospitality attitudes are in their DNA. Concerning the food, the restaurant hosts 200 people inside and 150 people outside. In every buffet in every place all over the world there is a few minutes waiting. Though the hotel is in all inclusive basis, drinks are served by waitress during meals. But of course the client has to go to the buffet to choose the tastes he wants. Unfortunately there is no a la carte restaurant in the hotel but it is clear in the description. We wish you a happy rest of the summer

Stayed 2 weeks in September.
Pro’s very clean, the maid was exceptional and so hard working. Next to nice clean beach, have to pay for sunbeds though but I knew that before we came. People do reserve sun beds in garden the night before by putting mats on they hired from reception.
Car hire man was brill, so friendly and gave us good price on car. Not able to get sunbed in day didn’t bother us because we went out.
Gardens are nice, we sat in them at night rather than hotel, much quieter and more pleasant surroundings.
Kids disco good if you have kids, other entertainment was virtually non existent first week except some Greek night, we gave up second week so not sure if it improved.
Food was pretty average, ok nothing exciting. Had better at other all inclusive, waiters were good.
Beer was ok, wine had better but what you expect from all inclusive. Cola is disgusting, just cheap syrup. Worst cocktails and gin and tonics etc. Glasses filled with as much ice as possible. Tonics poor, no fresh juice used cocktails or as a mixer, these come out of a pump and horrible and sickly. Not friendliest barman, got the impression we are just a number here is your drink now go. Opposite of car hire man who was ace.
This experience has put us off all inclusive for the time been and will be self catering next time. Easting out in Greece is cheap and will get better food and drink.
Kolyombia is a nice place good walk on the headland and along beach, few shops bars restaurants. Carousel is very good for an evening meal if you get bored of hotel food

Beautiful and spacious hotel with huge garden, very close to the sea. Rooms are clean and have really comfortable beds. Food is tasty (I loved wafles by Paris for breakfast and greek evenings) and you can choose from extensive food selection. Staff is polite and friendly - especially receptionists Nina and Antonis, bartenders Filominas and Panos, managers Vasilia and Filimonas and THE BEST waiters George and Maria in the outdoor part of the restaurant. The only drawback is slow wifi and not so good animations.
I spent there 2 wonderful weeks and the hotel was like my second home - I'll definitely come back again.

This is the AIM of hard work from the staff to the top management. We thank you for naming our colleagues, it is an honor to their efforts for hospitality and good service. Humans are creating their environment the way they are thinking (positive) and behaving. We're looking forward to welcoming you again home as Ulysses did in the Greek Mythology.
