Detailed Reviews
People in this place are the best. Starting with the animation crew, through all the staff around dinning room/bars/reception, ending on the managers. All are very kind, open and helpful. Our kid has a strong allergy to milk and eggs and managers them selves made sure that she gets something good without problematic ingredients. We felt as save as home in this matter. (Special thanks from us to Mrs. Manager! ). There is a very nice playground and water park for the kids. Add to this animation crew and your kids shouldn't be bored for a long time. The beach is right outside of the hotel. We had everything we needed at this stay.

We were staying June 2021 with 3 little kids (0, 2, 5) we enjoyed the proximity of the beach and very new water park for the youngest 2 bigger water slides.
There is also a bigger playground area and a baby club which we used evefy day.
The staff are very helpfull, although the "dining" managers are oriented on guests from other countries rather than on "Czechoslovak" families. They quite ignored us.
It is a big hotel so count on a lot of people during lunch/dinner.
With covid restrictions you wait quite a bit for your morning tea/coffee.
The room was tiny, as we had a baby cot as well, so double room wih an extra bed (for 2 younger kids) and a baby bed, it was quite cramped.
The hotel was clean.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review and your kind words. We're pleased to know that you had a nice family holiday in Irene Palace. You're right about the room, it can accommodate max 2+2 (the baby cot is included in capacity). I suggest you were not advised when booked the room. In the dining room Mrs Vaso and all the staff are taking care of all customers, they do not know nationalities, tour operators etc. They assist you at every need or request. Fischer tour operator is a very important partner as well, deserving our utmost attention and service to the customers. We thank you for all your kind words concerning the staff, it encourages all to do our best. We're looking forward to welcoming you again,

We had a great visit to Irene Palace. Firstly, all of the staff were amazing. The restaurant, bar, reception, car rental and especially the animation team who were always so friendly and great at what they do.
My kids loved the kids club - shout out to Gregory, Alicia and Ameena who made it great for them. The kids insisted on going most days as they enjoyed it so much - which meant an extra relaxing holiday for the adults too!
The evening entertainment is great, they had dancing, Greek music and a show by the animation team too.
Hotel is a fabulous location with a lovely beach a few steps away and a short walk to some great restaurants and bars. Watersports on the beach are vast and reasonably priced and car rental in the reception is run by a very nice man at a good price.
The food was good, always something fresh and tasty to eat. Greek night was everyone’s favourites with one of the best gyros we’ve had.
Rooms are basic, but it was clean, comfortable, air conditioned and quiet.
For any other English visitors worried that this hotel was more for other European visitors based on reviews, it is definitely not the case. We felt very welcome and everyone speaks English.
Highly recommend! One way to improve would be to make showers available to those with a late check out but it’s not a big deal, we had a great time. Thank you!

Only positive points:
-direct access to the beach.
- Tariq and Quentin, the Heliades hosts at the top!
- Seva The barmaid at the pool bar (the only one who was pleasant)
Negative points :
The list is long... all inclusive with bottled water paid for in the room and no refilling at the restaurant fountains
Towels for the swimming pool pay 4 euros per person and deposit of 5 euros
Beach deckchairs pay 15 euros per day for 2 deckchairs with parasol..
- the canteen (we can't say restaurant) always the same (lunch vegetables put together to make a mixed salad in the evening, white fish from lunch put in fritters for the evening, etc.) chicken and pork in all sauces all days. Industrial desserts (I saw the delivery of the refrigerated truck).
- unwelcoming staff with even an intrusion into our room by the night guard at 5 a.m. to wake up customers who were leaving very early in the morning, he had the wrong room.
- swimming pool which closes at 5:30 p.m.
- bedding to be reviewed (swallowed by the mattress)
- zero sound insulation between rooms.
- Only 1 lady for cleaning all the rooms on the first floor, so some things are forgotten (towel, floor mat, unmade beds, hair in the shower, etc.).
This is not at all the services of a 4-star all-inclusive hotel.

We spent a great week at this Pension. Excellent Breakfast and dinner buffets very varied and for all diets (vegetarian gluten free) we make its menu and varied also for children. The beach may be paid but we find our place if we leave it to lunch otherwise we can settle with our towel without problem if we do not want a deckchair. Small flat no room
Around the pool the towels are placed at dawn and the pool closes at 17:30.
Excellent daily animations with Alex,Amina,Grégory and others and in the evening animation on stage with children who give themselves to heart joy and then animation for adult kes. The proposed excursions are superb visit of Rhodes, tour of the island of Rhodes and visit of the island of Symi with a passionate Guide made us discover the wealth of this island. In short this Pension is recommended with children or without.

We spent a week at this Pension and our review is rather mixed.
Firstly the price seemed completely excessive compared to the services so certainly we left in the middle of August but for us it does not justify everything.
First of all the aquatic area; the slides as well as the children’s area are very well supervised nevertheless the whole (“general” swimming pool + children’s area) closes at 17:30 and closed all day on Thursday (slides) .... 17:30 in August in Greece it is limit the beginning where you no longer suffocate heat .... And we came out of the pool at the whistle and we must hurry!! Too bad!
in addition you have to get up at dawn to have the chance to have a deckchair free, at 8am there is only someone left while the pool opens only at 10am... Around the pool let’s not talk about it lucky people leave their towel all night so impossible to have!
Some deckchairs at the pool and all those at the Inn’s beach are charged! Again for the Award paid I find it aberrant...
The positive is the direct access to the Pension Beach
Then let’s talk catering; again very mixed; I found the buffet varied over a week we ate different things but we see that what served you at lunch came out in the evening in another form; other sauce etc when it didn’t stay all day in the snack area....
Moreover hourly level we found this very early; in the evening 6:30-9pm! In a country where it is hot like this you enjoy the day late and eat later also ...
Also at the buffet plan to queue a lot, whether to enter the space and at the buffet!! In the morning also always a lot of queue for "animations"; pancakes, waffles etc. same for the pool bar which also closes at 5.30pm. In fact in general there are not enough staff for the
complex which is a shame because the potential is there!
Positive also; a bus stop at the foot of the Inn which allows to walk on our own quite easily. Lively city in the evening also accessible on foot.
Regarding the rooms, we were 4, the children slept in a bench and only after 3 days we were allowed one on mattress ... only one card for the room which does not allow to put the Air Conditioner or just charge his phone when we are not there. For the Air Conditioner this poses a problem because again it is extremely hot and when you enter the room forced to put it thoroughly and all night to have a suitable temperature. We spent a week nevertheless pleasant, the children had great fun but it is not worth the Award paid.

Luckily for us we spent first 10 days at 5 star resort Lindos Imperrial which was fabulous. We came here just for 4 days looking for change of scenery. What a mistake it was! This hotel is between 2.5 and 3 stars for facilities, service and food. Rooms have been renovated so they are very comfortable.
Food is not good, poor quality, no variety and looks not fresh. Compare to 3 star resort in Cuba, Cuba is better! We ended up barely eating for breakfast and lunch and eating out for dinner which cost about 100 euro each night for family of 4. So we are very upset we paid money for all inclusive and didn’t even enjoy it. They are also charging for bottle water which I have never seen in all incisive before. Mojito cost 6 euro even if you are all inclusive. bar staff grumpy with huge line ups.
Building and hallways is very old, filthy old green carpet. Pool is very old and very strict life guards who yell at everyone….
Overall, loved Rhodes and other hotel but this was horrible stay luckily only 4 days….perhaps this hotel was badly impacted by pandemic but I feel it should be advertised as 3 star until they improve.
Picture is typical lunch menu.

We stayed at the Irene Palace Beach Hotel in the end of June 2024. We would like to appreciate and highly admire not only friendly but mostly family atmosphere that was created by the staff in a hotel. We have not experienced such a lovely behaviour to us and mostly to our child (3 and half years old) in a hotel before. This is what this hotel is about, it makes you feel as at home with a family. Every time we came for meal into a restaurant one of the waiters came with a natural smile and payed big attention to our child, but not particularly only to her, we saw it also in many situations with other children. We are sorry to forget names of ladies in a restaurant (waiting staff) who deserve to be mentioned. Also girls at the reception especially Nina were very nice. Our cleaning lady Theresa was very friendly and brought our daughter even a goodbye present, that was beyond all the expectations. For those who search for a family hotel, this is the best choice.
We also appreciated children´s exterior equipment, mostly the paddle pool, tobogan and the playground. BUT there is one thing we were disappointed with. Playing room full of toys inside the hotel was locked all the time. Particularly small children who stay at the hotel because of the wheather condition during lunch time would like to spend time playing in a playing room as the hotel rooms are rather small. We wonder what is the purpose to lock the room especially made for children. Our daughter was disappointed when she found out that there is a playing room and she cannot go inside. My suggestion would be to keep it open for two hours a day during the time when the sun is really hot for small children.
We stayed in a double superior room with balcony. The room was rather small and should have been cleaned under beds as well. Bathroom was good looking but awfully designed as after using the shower the whole place was full of water and was difficult to use it next hour.
Around the hotel there is a beautiful garden and it was a big joy to walk across it when we walked to the beach. We also liked the food very much (especially Greek specials) even though drinks were poor, especially juices (were they juices at all?) were enormously sweet.
We have nice memories of warm atmosphere in this hotel and have been thinking that one day we might come back. Lucia

We all appreciated your review as it highlights the family culture of the hotel and the people working. Especially your reference to the ladies in the restaurant portraits the authentic hospitality of Irene Palace. Concerning the mini club you mention, it is closed as the outdoor activities are taking place in the garden (pool area). But if the kid is attended by the parents, the reception provides the key. We're sorry this was not used by you. We thank you for suggesting the hotel, we wish you all the best for the rest of the summer and we're looking forward to welcoming you again!

The hotel justifies its 4 stars and seems to be able to work on its mistakes. Shampoos and other cleaning products were updated regularly. Bed linen was changed every other day. Towels were only changed when you left them on the floor. The exception is the foot towel - it was carefully hung on the balcony to dry. And this is very unpleasant, because within a week it became dirty :( The lawn in the garden is a mega super cool find: there were enough sun loungers for everyone and there was no stuffiness and heat, like on the beach. When you go out to the sea, you immediately feel the difference. Entering the sea is normal around the main path with a mat - sand and a few stones at the entrance, then the stones disappear. I didn’t go anywhere else, so I can’t compare. The sea is interesting, transparent with fish, stones begin at the depths - it’s interesting to swim with a mask. The swimming area is huge - for everyone who knows how. There's plenty of room to swim, but those who don't know how to swim tend to gather in the surf area and it's very crowded. Beach towels, even though they're paid, seem to be in short supply. The girl at the reception offered to come in the next day if they suddenly became available. Zeus and bought 2 beautiful beach towels for the same price, and used them without bothering the hotel staff anymore. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. A special thank you to the restaurant manager Vasilina for her ability to establish and maintain order in the dining room. Mosquitoes: there were none at first. Then these little ones appeared. The issue is resolved by going to Zeus - there you can buy a full set of fumigators for every taste. We slept with the balcony door open after 23-00. Until this time, we were forced to listen to the animation of the neighboring hotel, although it was a fair distance away. Maybe we can come up with some kind of sound-reflective barrier so that their loud music will come back to them? The location of the hotel is excellent - midway between Lindos and Rhodes, 5 km from the 7 springs. In the village there is something to see and buy and where to go for a walk.

We thank all the staff of Irene Palace Hotel, everyone was kind and helpful with us, really loving with our baby.
The food was nice with a good variety for adults and children.
The Hotel is suitable for families, with play ground and water park. We didn't miss mini disco, it was really fun.
Outside the Hotel you can find restaurants, shops , a Luna Park, bus stop and car rentals. There is also one in the lobby.
The beach reserved to hotel was nice, not too windy , a mixture of sand and stones.Even if you are a customer you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas.
Water was clean and colorful.
As mentioned before, the staff was good, hard working.
The cleaning service came everyday to tide up and clean our room. It was was nice and recently renovated. Other parts of the hotel seemed older and sometimes you could find some details to fix and to improve.
But di overall impression was really good! We are really grateful for the nice time we had.
Rodhes is a wonderful Island I don't need mention it.
