Booked to stay at this hotel at last minute as an alternative to our holiday to Menorca. Hotel is being advertise as a 4 star resort but it's more likely a 2 - 3 star. We have stayed at a 3 star resort which had better facilities and the rooms are decorated more on the modern side. On the day of our arrival, the welcome we received from the reception was certainly not of that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Most hotel would normally provide their guest information of the resort facilities but not in Delfinia. Another surprise we had was the hotel are not providing pool towels because of covid-19 but was told that we can certainly buy a towel from the shop at the hotel. Canteen style dining was understandable because of the current pandemic but certainly no excuse for repetitive food selection on offer and often cold. As mentioned by other guest, bedrooms definitely needed updating which again are misleading since it is nothing like the photos on there website. The mattress in the cabana's needed cleaning before you can even use them as often left dirty from the day before. It is noticeable that the resort was running on minimum staff but hats off to all the staff who work so hard to keep the hotel going.

We have just returned from a fun yet relaxing family holiday where we were able to enjoy the beautiful Greek weather in a covid safe hotel. We found the staff so very hard working and adapting to all the changes and challanges that have occured this year. The hotel resort is small but has everything you need the air con was very welcome. The restaurant and bars were smoothly organised we ate and drank feeling everything was clean and low risk of cross contamination and we enjoyed many meals and snacks at the hotel.
Thanks to everyone for all they do to keep the families happy. We had a great week.

The hotel is falling apart. Broken balcony cladding and banisters that fall off in your hand. Horrible paint job. There were literally cracks painted and patched over with the wrong colour in our room. The staff were very rude and not friendly, apart from the pool bar guy who was very nice.

I've never experienced such poor entertainment. Kids clubs where the cd skipped. Kids movies streamed off a pirate site which end up not working half way through and they give up on it and switch it off. Other nights they reserved cold left overs from dinner and Called it how to eat Greek. I never felt so insulted.

There are not enough sun beds for all the guests and after breakfast everyone has left their towels on the beds so we were left with no beds most days.

We had to ask for rooms to be cleaned and then cleaners didn't turn up so we had to ask again.

The ques to be served food were up to on hour and the staff who were serving food can be very rude. On top of that I found a thick black hair in my breakfast. I was served a mouldy black tomato. And we found raw bloody chicken on one occasion.

No social distancing in ques and staff regularaly working over the food with visors lifted.

Avoid his place at all costs !!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Delfinia Resort! The hotel has a great location, in the middle of Rhodes and Lindos, near the airport, close to Tsampika beach, walk to the sea. The hotel has a nice view of the mountains from the balcony. Rooms are basic but clean and with AC. Good entertainment for the whole family (thanks to Valerina and Kris). Variety of tasty food. We enjoyed very nice big and comfy double sun loungers by the pool as well as table tennis. More weights would be needed for the nice gym.
As the hotel does not provide bottled water, it is a good idea to bring your own multi-use water bottle - be ECO.
The great advantage is the service - very nice and helpful! Special thanks to the ENZO lifeguard for the professional approach. I recommend this hotel :)

Just back from a 7 night stay here and everything was perfect from start to finish.

Breakfast had a good selection of breads, cereals, fruit etc. Lunch was your typical all inclusive with burgers, fries, pizzas. There was a snack bar that opened all day where you could get crepes, burgers, hotdogs and mini cakes and ice cream. For dinner there was a different theme every night, Mexican and Mediterranean night was our favourite as the selection was really good. We didn’t eat in the hotel for fish night as neither of us are fish lovers but could see that there was a good selection of it, there is a restaurant right around the corner from the hotel that serves both Italian and Greek food and it was excellent so if one of the nights the food doesn’t suit your taste buds I would highly recommend going there!

The photos of the pool online do not do it any justice as it is a whole lot bigger in person. There’s three slides and two kids pools. There is lots of loungers but would recommend waking up a little bit earlier to guarantee you get one that’s not in the shade. We stayed in room 139 which was in the main building on the bottom floor and was looking straight out onto the pool so in the mornings we’d just pop our towels from the balcony onto the loungers in front of our room this was super handy! There is a poolside bar that serves local beer, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks. As we are cocktail drinkers it took us a while to find one we liked on the menu but bartender Radi was as excellent in helping us out and had no problem making six at a time!!! He was very lovely to talk to and was always up a laugh and joke!

Late one night we realised we had forgot to print a document that we needed. The night receptionist Marco was so helpful, he went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed and was very happy to help us even though it was probably a bit of an inconvenience as it was quite late in the night. He is an excellent receptionist and we would be encouraged to come back just from his service alone, he is truly wonderful!

The housekeeping staff are all lovely. They had our room spotless when we first arrived and provided us with extra bath towels when we needed them. Anytime we would meet one of the housekeeping team they always said hello with a big smile on their face!

The area of Kolimbia itself is very quiet but there is a bus stop right around the corner from the hotel where you can go directly to Rhodes Town. There is also a water park in Faliraki that is well worth a visit and you can get the bus from the same bus stop. Buses run very frequently.

There is a shop/mini mart on the hotel grounds which is handy to get towels, sun cream, snacks. The two ladies who work there are very kind and super friendly!

All in all we had a great time staying in Delfinia Resort, everything from start to finish was perfect. Thank you to all the team for giving us such a great holiday! Hopefully we will be back again in the near future!

I must admit I was a little worried about our arrival here as I had a bit of messing around with moving dates due to flights being cancelled, however we made it finally. We went from two weeks in July to one week in August instead 🤦🏼‍♀️
upon arrival seeing how beautiful Rhodes was it was nice to be there. The family room with sharing pool was small but decent enough for a week, the sharing pool is what made this. Kids loved it, I loved it and the lounge beds surrounding were so comfy. The two families we shared with had left by day 3 so we had 4 days of the pool to ourselves. Rooms were clean, you do need to ask for the cleaners to come now due to Covid rules? It takes 24hrs we kept forgetting so only had it done once. All in all the room was fine, air con was located in a weird place though that never circulated to the beds closest to the back door so my kids were really hot most nights.
What makes this place a great resort are the team. Nico, Radi at the bar always happy to greet you and make amazing cocktails so quickly! I think my daughter drank the most tutti fruitys ever 🤣
Momo and David are exceptional, I’ve never met two more dedicated, lively, fun entertainers. Always around with a positive vibe. Kids adored them, husband had great banter with them.
Gyro man was so friendly I never got his name but he got to know us and remembered everything we would order 🤣
Even The lifeguard was so friendly I don’t think I’ve ever had a lifeguard speak to us except to blow a whistle.he was lovely even counted down for my kids racing each other on the slide and singing liverpool songs as he knew our team 👌🏻🤣 the main pool was great always beds available and kids loved the slides.
I suffer from lipoedema which makes me quite insecure but i never felt uneasy here no one batted an eye at me and felt comfortable there.
Food is a bit hit and miss, some nights it would be great other nights we would go out for dinner as the kids wouldn’t like any of it and they’re really not that fussy! However taverna ouzaki was incredible just down the road wow 🤩
The tzatziki at delfinia is the best we’ve Ever had, please send the recipe? 🤣
All in all a great family hotel at a reasonable price. As a family we would definitely stay here again. I would recommend hiring a car to her around the island.
Thanks delfinia 🐬

We visited here as a family for 2 weeks at the beginning of August in a room with a private pool. The room wasn’t overly clean upon arrival but a good size with comfortable beds. The pool was lovely and glad we chose this option as really added to the holiday. Upon arrival at 10pm we were told how to go to get to our room but surprisingly had to ask if there was any food available rather than being offered any. We asked for a kettle to warm our toddler’s milk but told we couldn’t have one due to COVID. We asked again in the morning but were told the same thing which meant every day having to ask reception to get boiling water and queuing again in the evening for the same. Not sure why having a kettle is not allowed but having a TV remote is? The queuing can be a pain but understand why you can’t help yourselves so you get used to it although more staff would certainly help alleviate the problem. There are stickers on the floor asking for people to be 2m apart but this was rarely adhered to by many. Food - there was limited choice but the food was really good quality apart from breakfast which was monotonous with no changes at all in 2 weeks. Snacks were plentiful throughout the day.
Drinks - this had the most choice of cocktails included in all inclusive than any hotel we have ever been too and Radi would always make you something that wasn’t listed if asked.
Entertainment- David and Momo tried really hard and made for an enjoyable experience at night and also throughout the day.
We found all the staff really friendly and if you made the effort to talk to them they were lovely. Special thanks in particular to Aleksander, George and Kleana who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good holiday. We would say overall this is a 3 star hotel based on other experiences and given the choice would rate the holiday here 3 and a half stars. It would be interesting to see how things operate “normally” and we wouldn’t rule out coming back.

Was looking forward to spend some time off with an all inclusive, but unfortunately vene now back home this was a nightmare ! The food was terrible, the cheap drinks were a joke. They gave us some low budget room without any apology, they just tried if we are ok with this for one week or not. After complaints they gave us better room, which was much better. Cleaning was not performed properly, the towels smelled bad. There was no bottled water, which would be ok in Europe, but the water which they poured into my bottle or into a cup was always with some bad smell. The food it's a chapter itself, I've never experienced such a poor breakfast ! Everything was made out of semi-finished products, lunch dinner, snacks. The staff was mostly pushing you to order something, you've had only one chance to get some stuff into your plate, there was no other option to go into the queue again and spend there another hour. The covid measures were not managed well in this hotel, staff was wearing masks and gloves, but guests were queuing without any distancing, so at the end it looked like a comedy each time. The dining area design was looking like some school canteen. I didn't feel somfortable at all, overall didn't fell satisfied or even relaxed after this experience.

This hotel is dilapidated, to say the least. The food is shocking, especially the evening meal, where you have very little choice and very basic options with terrible presentation. No effort has been made by the chefs/cooks and it's like a military dining facility. The dining room staff are rude and seem annoyed you're there. We decided to eat out every night after checking each night to see what they had on. Awful quality food and the queueing is horrendous!

The alcohol at the bar is non descriptive, with the bottles just stating it's a spirit of Greece???? The beer is ok. The barman at this place are the only saving grace to the hospitality team. The guy on reception with glasses, who may even be a manager, is sarcastic and rude, he seems completely put out by any queries or requests.

The pool was good, but a little over chlorinated.

Plan to use this place as a sleep only hotel, or just avoid it. It's a low end 3* at a push!
