Belair Beach Hotel sits in a prime location that guests love, surrounded by beaches and local hotspots, yet some travelers find the atmosphere loud and the entertainment lacking. While the rooms are kept clean and the staff is commended for their friendliness, the noise level can be problematic, and the rooms themselves are often seen as needing an update.
Guests appreciate the cleanliness and the service, but feel that the value is lessened by additional costs and outdated amenities.

I hope you find this constructive. Overall the hotel is clean and they are Covid conscious although some staff wear the masks on their chin rather over their nose and mouth. The staff are polite. All meals are served to you at the restaurant buffet with a choice of food, albeit quite repetitive and you get a choice of local wine beer, water or juice
The executive rooms are very nice clean and airy with a nice view. There is only one small drawer, but plenty of cupboard space in the wardrobe we had 6 coat hangers between us.
There is no conditioner although there is shampoo and shower gel and you have to ask for them to be replenished. Be cautious when the floor gets wet in the bathroom
As it is very slippy. There is a tea and coffee maker in your room, there is no tea or coffee provided.
Our first day the fridge had 2 bottles of water in, this was never replaced and when I asked I was told to go to the supermarket.
The TV has all local channels apart from bbc news.
All inclusive - not on everything snacks are limited things like burgers and toasties are chargeable as are all drinks after 11pm!! And you would have to pay the full price if you want a premium drink.
Sun beds if you want one in the front of the hotel you have to be down early as They are all taken up with towels by 8am
I saw one English couple leave their towels overnight for the next day. The guy around the pool doesn’t start until 10 and I did see him sanatise some empty beds. Quite surprised at the public toilets in the hotel having opaque glass between cubicles which personally I didn’t like and wouldn’t use.
The shingle beach is across a busy road directly in front of the hotel.
The rooms are cleaned every two days.
Entertainment so far karaoke and a night watching 3 or 4 young women dance they changed in reception in clear view of everyone to change outfits after every dance!
The signage to find your room needs improving after watching several people including ourselves looking lost by the pool.
I am not commenting on my stay because we all have different standards and ideas how a hotel will be so I hope I have helped with some of the facts.

Stayed here for a week at the start of August, last minute because of Spain cancellation. The whole experience was really good, the hotel did really well with Covid, hand sanitizer everywhere and the rooms and general hotel were really clean.
The new pool is gorgeous.
People complain about being on the road but this didnt affect enjoyment at all and was actually really good for buses and taxis and walking along the beach to Rhodes town if you felt like a 45 minute walk to burn off dinner!
All the staff were friendly as long as you treated them with respect. They were coping really well with a new style of serving - Table service and the food buffet was behind perspex. The staff brought your drinks, your cutlery in sealed bags and then you queued up for food. Again, peopple complaining about this but even when Covis wasn't an issue, all inclusive holidays still had queues for food. The staff were very generous with their portions and you could ask for more if needed and go up again if you wanted.
The only negatives I can mention are 2 things: The pool was extremely busy and every sun lounger was placed 1.5 metres apart...the problem was, people came along and placed extra sunbeds in the gaps causing crowding and there was no one around to stop this or back up the people who were complaining there was no social distancing. People also put their towels out the night before and no one stopped this either so there was a mad rush to get the best sun beds. They were not sprayed down after use either, just tidied up ready for the next day.
The 2nd point is the rooms at the front of the hotel, the view is fantastic out to the sea and Turkish mountains but the walls and ceilings were very thin and you heard everything and every noise possible from next door and above. Noisy drunk people coming back in after midnight, the room doors slam shut automatically! Chairs and/or beds being scraped across the floor all times of the day, including the middle of the night.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, very clean and felt safe.

Never having visited Rhodes we were very lucky to choose the Belair, has it was very much a random pick. We fancied a hotel a reasonable distance from Rhodes town to allow us to take a walk each day. The Belair is in a wonderful position near the sea. All rooms I shoukd think would have good views. We had an executive room in a new block near the swimming pool. On entering we were amazed by the bright white cleanliness! Dressing gowns and slippers are provided along with kettle, fridge, ironing board and iron etc. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We were all inclusive and the ladies at the beach bar got to know us quickly abd made conservation. The dining room has well soaced out tables and lots of then have sea views. Food is served to you by staff behind screens. There is plenty of choice and a small serving bar at the side offers even more options such hadms fajitas and burgers. Masks were not worn by guests in the hotel or around the pool, has everything is distanced and plenty of hand sanitizers around. All in all a fantastic hotel and I would love to return soon.

Got to the hotel about 11pm and was waiting one hour to get checked in as one person on the desk. Room was advised with a double bed, get to the room to find to single pushed together which has ruined the holiday as I’m here with my fiancé, asked at reception if we could get a double to be told no because every bed is a single when online the photos are clearly double beds (false advertising) There was no tea or coffee in the room when we arrived which is standard at any hotel never mind a 4* star, no shower robe or slippers which is standard in England.
Bad food that’s all bland and cold, I’m a chef back in England so I know the laws when it comes to hot holding food, didn’t see one person Check the temperatures of anything which is against the law back in England.
Payed extra for a sea view only to find out all the rooms come with a sea view! What rip off!!!
The staff speak every little English which makes it hard to communicate what you would like.
There is no social distancing what so ever, all the staff have masks but aren’t wearing them over there mouth or nose. Over all a really bad experience wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I feel like I have been really ripped off.
Plenty of sun beds but the staff let people leave there towels on them and come back hours later which ruins it for people who want to use them but can’t because other people’s towels all over them. The swimming pool is that cold you can hardly get in it which is a shame because it looks lovely.

Dear Guests we would like to thank you for spending your time to post a review after visiting Hotel Belair for your holidays. It has been a pity the we did not manage to to rwach your expectations during your vacations with us. There are though some points of critisism we would like to comment There is the possibility to request a double bed but it is always subject to availability to be accommodated in one. We never promise 100% this facility , exactly because they are limited ones. Unfortunately it is not possible to place one photo with double bed and one photo with twin beds in every tour operator's presentation. This does not mean though that somebody is trying to fool you. There is a description of the room and the facilities you have booked. And in this one is not included bathrobes , slippers , e.t.c. I will accept the 4* hotels in UK challenge . I will only ask anyone the rate of a 4 star hotel in UK with breakfast , lunch and dinner and then compare it with the rate we have offered you the room. It will be quite intersting to see these prices. Being a chef I am sure that there are some issues more easy to comprehend than anyone else. The food is kept in 70 degrees. if it is kept in a higher temperature , the food will be overcooked. Our chef would be glad to speak with you and use a thermometer to see together the temperature of the food. The waiter to whom you have made your complain asked you this. Instead you have used a rather insulting way to speak about a companion of yours. All rooms are with sea view? Are you really sure about this? Believe us , we would be very happy if this woiuld have been true!!!! It is true that the swimming pool is not heated. And it is not advertised to be one. I wonder how many hotels round the world have an outdoor swimng pool that is heated. You may forgive us if we do not share the same opinion with yours in a lot of issues With the best wishes from the staff and the management of hotel Belair

We had a family holiday for 11 nights all inclusive. The hotel was very clean and all the necessary sanitisation facilities were in place for Coronavirus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a room overlooking the new pool area and it was no trouble for the management to accommodate this request.
Food was served from behind screens and all staff wore masks and gloves. Although the food was varied it was not very hot once served. There was something for everyone for breakfast lunch and dinner. Soft drinks and wine were not perfect to taste but sufficient. We spent most of our time around the old pool which was our choice as we were a party of 16 and wanted to be closer together as we may have found it difficult to be together around the new pool area which is quite a lot bigger therefore making it difficult to get a sunbed. We became very friendly with all of, the waiting and bar staff and had a lot of fun with them especially Kristoss and Ilias Anything we asked for was not too much trouble for them. My partner arranged for and paid for a Birthday cake to be made for our last night to celebrate my mine and my grandsons birthdays which was-presented to us by Ilias with Kristoss who came in especially on his night off for our special evening. It was an amazing time at Belair beach hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Came with my boyfriend after our holiday to Gran Canaria got cancelled and it worked out so well we have had an amazing holiday!! Paid £750 for 11 nights half board each.
Room: we had an executive room which looked out over e new pool and beach and views and the sunset are stunning. Nice big airy room with good bathroom. Air con and mini fridge were both really useful as well and stayed cold. Beds were comfy and had more than enough wardrobe space.
Food: we came on a half board basis. Breakfast was okay nothing special. We were able to swap to lunch a few days which was good and the food at lunch and dinner so much better than breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff serve for you and all of the staff are friendly and lovely. Eating out here is so cheap that we chose to eat out nights.
We ate at a restaurant called Amalfi which is directly opposite. Looks fancy and expensive but not at all which gets an unreal sunset. They do fluffy American pancakes and the seafood linguini probably the best i have had for only €15
To the left there are a few more bars and restaurants. A place called de romeos also does excellent food we ate there a few nights too, best gyros we had and steak is 10/10 here too.
Location: right on the beach. Got a taxi to Rhodes town €9 and falariki one night €20 which was worth a visit for night out and more lively bars. We hired a car from place opposite to drive to lindos which was also a worthwhile day out would recommend, has a sandy beach and little whit washed streets. Everything in ixia itself is in walking distance. Cheaper supermarkets to the left down the road.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday, we loved everything about the place and I would recommend this hotel with an executive room 100% if you can upgrade as it is stunning and worth the extra!! No complaints about the holiday at all.

Had an amazing time at The Belair Beach. The location is close to Rhodes Town where you can either get a bus for 2 euros or a taxi for around 6 euros. Went on a brilliant boat trip to Lindos which cost 30 euros for the whole day which was really good value for money.
The room we had was a nice size, the bathroom was slightly outdated and the hairdryer was a plastic hose with a square end on it, but did the job. We had a view of the sea and the old pool which was lovely on the fourth floor. The rooms were cleaned every other day which was fine and the cleaning staff always said good morning.
The food was really nice albeit a bit cold sometimes but there was plenty of it so no complaints from us. The restaurant manager was so funny and made us feel very welcome every day.
The guys in the restaurant worked so hard and Adrian and Diliyana to name just two were so lovely and happy and really put themselves out to chat and have a laugh.
Illeas in the bar was so funny and he always knew what drink we wanted and also never forgot our names. He worked so hard and never had a day off the whole time we were there.
Both pools were really nice even if you did have to put towels out every day at a ridiculous hour to get a sun bed. No change there really. The ladies in the pool bar weren’t the most friendliest and I always felt it was a bit of an effort to serve us but that’s a minor complaint.
There wasn’t much entertainment during the 10 days we were there but you can make your own so no problem.
The weather was at least 36 degrees the whole time we were there which is my kind of heat and we met some amazing people which made our time at the hotel all the better.
Would definitely recommend this hotel

first time to Rhodes and was not disappointed, travelled with Jet2 whom all the British guests in the hotel seemed to be with. The check in was quick, we booked an executive suite which was well worth the money large room with a splendid sea view. the only gripe i would have about the room was maybe a extractor could have been built into the bathroom has our room always seemed damp after we had used the shower. The restaurant works really well under Covid restrictions so well done to the belair everything is clean and sanitised, in other reviews people have moaned about the food, maybe not the best, but certainly not the worst, a different theme every night with something for everybody. Only went half board because we like to go out of an evening, used to go to the local sports bars down the road turn left out of the hotel and walk for about 10 mins. Must say the pool is one of the biggest we have seen and is also a sun trap.
Overall the hotel is very nice the new block is very clean and smart, the main block could do with a little make over has the lounge with the pool table and television in between the reception and restaurant seem very dull and unwelcoming and could do with a face lift to make the hotel even better.
Beware of the local bus fares to Rhodes Town the receptionist told us 2.20 euros, got on the bus outside the hotel charged 2 euros went to the bus station to go back to the hotel and was charged 1.60 if you pay at the kiosk.
Would i stay here again if in ixia probably,

We have just spent a week at the Belair Beach Hotel in Rhodes. First, the good stuff: the executive rooms are well worth the extra few euros and are incredibly clean and spacious. To limit contact, rooms are cleaned and towels are renewed every 2 days. The swimming pool area is just stunning! Pool is incredibly clean and nice. Sunbeds are desinfected after each use. Staff is super-friendly at all times. Especially the restaurant staff (Marina, Sofia and the others) and the lady from the pool bar (Eleni). The whole hotel is cleaned all the times which made us feel safe. The restaurant is still in buffet style but staff serves you, everything is behind glass. Cutlery comes packed individually once seated. The food was okay for a 4* hotel, nothing to write home about but certainly not bad. The main issue during our holiday was the quality of the drinks. Everything comes out of the same tap, and drinks have a weird aftertaste. It would be way better if they would offer it from bottles (same goes for water bottles: not available). Besides this, we had a very nice holiday in Rhodes! And for the price we paid it was a good hotel :)

We arrived late due to our flight being delayed we found sandwiches fruit and water in the fridge in our room which was a lovely gesture. We were in 306 in the main building above the main entrance. When I booked this room with jet 2 I actually paid extra with it being called a sea view .. take my advice donot book one as the noise was horrendous, not only do you have road noise which is 24/7 as the traffic never stops it feels like you would get more sleep at the side of the M1 then you have the noise from the bar area which is directly below you . On our first night a family was sat outside until 2.45am we could literally hear the conversation in between the endless traffic. If this hotel asked everyone to go indoors after midnight it would cure part of the problem . Safe to say we didn’t sleep much during our weeks stay. The food was ok in the main restaurant always found something to eat but my real bugbear was the queue ( if you chose something where the soups were and wanted something from the main display the queue was so big that what you already had on your plate was stone cold ) the queues for the bar day and night were also very long .
The room was cleaned every two days and gotta to say it was lovely and clean in fact all of the hotel was. The staff were absolutely amazing very friendly and welcoming . I do however feel that this hotel is understaffed for the amount of guests staying there.
The pool is absolutely freezing . A word of warning if you put your towels down before 8 am and donot stay with them then they are removed . We saw this happen quite a few times and I actually liked this . There are notices all over warning you .
The evening entertainment was more or less none existent only one show put on and that was fire eating or just music playing. We had a fair holiday but it could have been so much better if the room wasn’t so noisy.
