Life is sweet at Cook’s Club Ialysos. Pitched close to the lively village of Kremasti on the Greek island of Rhodes, this hideaway draws fun-loving guests keen to strike out to hazy beaches by day and hip bars by night. Explore seas a glittering shade of azure and swoon over plates of just-caught fish or ouzo and olives at tucked-away seafood joints. If you’re in need of wilder thrills, get a dose of adrenalin whilst breezing over the waves of the Aegean by kite surf or windsurf. And as dusk descends, dip into the area’s bars, restaurants and achingly cool clubs. As for Cook’s Club Ialysos, it’s enduringly fun but mellow: dangle your legs in the pool and feel the sun on your face; linger over cocktails by a resident mixologist with globe-trotting credentials; and gawp over impeccable dishes prepared in its live cooking stations. All this plus there are live DJ sets, theme nights and parties to ensure the scene morphs from laid-back to ultra-hip as the day drifts to night.

My partner and I have just returned from a stay at Cooks Club and wow, we have been highly satisfied with our first stay in Rhodes. The ambiance and vibe of the the hotel is wonderful and friendly and I suspect this is due to the fact that we are the target demographic for Cooks Club and also the staff that they employ are very welcoming.

Rooms are amazing, we had room 205, which was newly built and not featured in any of the offical images. Our room had a shared pool between two other suites, however we rarely had any other people in the pool during our stay. The room is lovely, sheets changed every day, bins emptied, inside and outside mopped, surfaces cleaned. Towels are changed daily on requet. Read the sticker in the bathroom to request. The rooms have built in USB-C charging ports and normal USB chargers, by the beds and main desk.

Bathroom:

The bathroom is different between suites, however 502 (shared pool) did have an issue with flooding which is also noted in other reviews. The 'Wetroom' doesn't keep the water within the shower area, and therefore water leaks into the toilet / basin area of the room. The bath matt has to be changed every day, due to it becoming soaking wet in an attempt to block the water from spilling out the 'wetroom' area. Not a big deal with daily cleaning but good to note!

Shampoo and body lotion are supplied in a high quality. The shower is not a overhead rainfall shower, and is on a rail. It has three settings of water which you can change at the press of a button. The control of hot and cold of the shower was tempremental, it didn't take much to switch the shower from cold to hot which would sometimes nearly burn you, but was nice and powerful!

We enjoyed many a poolside cocktail that are charged very reasonably for their quality! The bar staff are happy to take requests if you have a cocktail in mind that is not on the menu, a very nice touch and meant my partner could enjoy her favourite Blue Lagoon. BIG shout out to Giannhs behind the bar!! The food that is served at the pool bar is also deserving of a mention, the portion sizes are massive, incredibly good value for money and extremely tasty (if you are considering the linguine with prawns, be prepared to leave some or have a second person to share it with! Twice I attempted to eat it myself and failed!)

The hotel puts on themed evenings most nights, yoga, live music, sushi etc, and we were intrigued by the Greek buffet night that they were advertising. For 19€ pp we had higher expectations. We felt however, a little disappointed by the variety of foods that they had on offer, e.g no fish options. which my partner was particularly hoping for. ..... Overall it just didn't scream GREEK to us. Missing Octopus, Mousaka, etc

We were pleased with the amount they laid on for breakfast, there is lots and lots of cold options, cereal, nuts, grains, fruit, pastries and breads, but perhaps could do more in the way of hot food, such as mushrooms, tomatoes etc. I found the sausages weren't to my taste but this is perhaps just personal. I must mention the strawberry yoghurt, I went back for third and fouth helpings every morning without fail. The apple/orange/grapefruit/pineapple juice they provide as well as tasty coffee is a good way to start the day.

The area surrounding the main pool is inviting and a real sun trap. Big squashy beanbags and comfortable loungers surround all sides and it was never empty when we did venture down. They have a dj that plays music throughout the day and evening which is nice, however we did find the music to be a bit too loud to be comfortable at times. It can also be a bit repetitive with the dance and techno and perhaps not quite enough chill music. As we had our own pool, we found ourselves retreating to that to enjoy the music from further away.

There is a mini market on site which is very handy, the lady in there is always cheerful and was kind enough to gift wrap a present I purchased in there for me. It has mostly everything you could need for a stay there. (n.b there is also a supermarket down the road from the hotel roughly a 5 minute walk away which we found useful for stocking up on water for 28 cents per bottle), otherwise the on site shop stocked and impressive amount of stuff and was surprisingly affordable!

The staff try to be as helpful as they can be, for example we requested to have a late checkout due to our flight not being until late in the evening. They were happy to request this for us, and were charged 30 euros for 3 extra hours. Sadly upon coming to check in to this room, we were asked to wait by the pool area for an hour whilst they prepared it, which we questioned if we could have a €10 refund as we paid for three hours not two. They then found us a free room straight away. Apart from that moment, all the staff are super friendly and chatty, extreamly helpful!

Best holiday ever hand's down, if you're considering this place, go for it! You won't be disappointed! ☀️💖🎉

Had a really great 6 nights here. The pool in particular is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the music. The food we had in the hotel was fresh and tasty, drinks were good if a little pricey and breakfasts was excellent! So much choice and consistently topped up.

Our room was nice, but our 'balcony' was just a couple of chairs placed on a walkway facing the restaurant, so we didn't have any privacy if we were to sit outside. A shame, because we definitely would have used it if we had more privacy.

Reception staff weren't the most welcoming. We asked about swapping our room a couple of times and they said they'd come back to us but never did. We also asked about a late checkout for an extra couple of hours, and were told to come back the next day to ask again. We did and we were told in fairly harsh terms that they were fully booked and couldn't predict when new arrivals would come. We're thrilled they're fully booked so quickly after opening, but we couldn't help but feel like a burden whenever we spoke to the reception staff. Hopefully these are just teething issues while they get used to the popularity of the hotel.

However, reception were great at helping us to hire a car - if you hire through them the car is conveniently delivered to you at the hotel.

It's also worth noting that there are no shower facilities (besides an outdoor shower at the pool) if you've already checked out and you have a later flight.

Staff at the bar were amazing and made sure for a fun, relaxing environment. The fish restaurant over the road was great and we also enjoyed The Rosemary.

We got the bus into Rhodes town a couple of times which was really easy and just 2.50EUR pp, then a taxi back was 20EUR - Rhodes old town is incredible and there's also some great bars outside the walls.

Taxi to/from the airport is also 20EUR.

All in all, we had a lovely week and totally recommend this hotel.

We had a brilliant relaxing stay here and completely recommend! It’s only been open just over 1 year but everything is spot on! Starting with a lovely welcome from the night receptionist and welcome sandwich!
Whilst the location is not perfect it is located very conveniently for local regular buses in the town or Rhodes town, taxis are cheap and plentiful, Kremasti beach is a 10 minute walk where there are cheap beds you can hire for the day, Ialysos centre is 5 mins by bus, then a 10 min walk to the beach or the beach is 30 minutes walk from hotel restaurant. Local restaurants Rosemary, Pegasus and Italian Tomatini are worth a visit.
The hotel is modern, clean, well laid out with extensive landscaping & trees providing much needed shade at times with views of the hills and a distant sea view! Rooms are very clean, well furnished, comfy beds, good AC, safe included, fridge with water, plenty of sockets and serviced by the maids daily.
Food at breakfast is superb, probably the best selection and quality we have had at a 4 star hotel, ranging from hot foods, pastries, cakes, cold meats, breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurts, nuts, etc all well stocked and freshly prepared.
Food at captain cooks pool bar is also very nice and reasonably priced along with an adequate drinks and cocktails menu. If anything the bar snacks are generous enough for 2 people to share!
The pool area is spotless and the luxury sun beds with thick mattresses and large very comfy bean bags are plentiful.
The spa has only just opened and my discounted treatment received (back, neck, scalp massage) was undertaken very professionally with advice after given by Michael (masseuse) was a nice touch and I bought some quality discounted treatment.
The people that work here really made a difference on this holiday, all are very friendly and welcoming. Gardeners, maintenance and maids all say hello and smile! Receptionists are welcoming and helpful.
The waiting and bar staff work tirelessly to ensure your stay is the best, they are friendly and attentive all the time.
Special mention to the lovely Evi and Maria who give off such positive energy & service with a smile! Andreius who always says good morning, has a little chat with you and asks how you are & makes a point to speak to everyone about what’s going on at the hotel and the area.
John (great guy!) and his colleagues behind the bar again work so hard all day and night and George delivering your food and drinks is again very polite and courteous - didn’t get everyone’s names but all do a great job!
A shame really that a surprise 30th anniversary treat wasn’t delivered despite having called the week before to discuss and then agreed in person but that said, all the above made our stay superb and we totally recommend a holiday here!

I honestly have no idea where to begin with our trip to cooks club. We arrived home this morning and the holiday blues have well and truly set in.

The hotel itself is amazing, nothing like other hotels we have been to before. The hotel is spotless and every single staff member goes above and beyond for you.

The pool is a great size, for the hotel and you don’t need to worry about a sun lounger there are plenty to go around. I’d like myself you prefer to be in the sun all day the loungers closest to the hotel get the sun the most or the beanbags just outside the pool bar although I always found it difficult to get up from them. Music is played at the pool the full day, lots of nice chilled vibes.
Food is great from the pool bar, we ate lunch here most days and I can definitely recommend the what a pita and bolognese, these were eaten on most days. The breakfast is basic, small selection of hot food, lots of fruit and cold meats etc but we didn’t really eating breakfast much so didn’t affect our trip.
We ventured out most nights for dinner to Rhodes and worked our way through the amazing beach restaurants. Location of the hotel for us was great, could get a taxi for about €20 to most places and was only about 20 minutes or so into Rhodes or old town. Obviously taxis aren’t in everyone’s budget but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel if you prefer to do public transport.
The hotel has entertainment on most nights, live music, sax player etc and there are themed meal nights also. We never tried any however we were advised the Sushi night was amazing.

For us however our amazing stay wasn’t due to the beautiful hotel, location or food it was down to the wonderful staff we met. Chris, Mike, Mara and John in the bar team you honestly made our holiday, the most genuine and friendly people we have ever met. I honestly couldn’t hold back the tears leaving as you had made it so amazing for us. We have made friends for life in Chris and John who took the time to get to know us, make us laugh and keep our drinks topped up. I could go on forever how amazing everyone was but I would be here all day.

We will most definitely be back to Cooks Club and I can’t wait until our next trip to see the amazing staff again.

Myself and my boyfriend booked this place hoping we hadn’t been catfished as the place looked too good to be true… however after staying there for 4 nights I can confirm it was amazing and lived up to all our expectations.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and cleaned regularly, we were lucky enough to get a room facing the pool meaning we had the option to enjoy the evening atmosphere from our balcony or by the pool side both of which are very relaxing.

Food and cocktails are all very delicious and staff are very helpful and friendly! Finally the hotel is only a short walk from a bus stop taking you to Rhodes centre or the local restaurants and beach. Would highly recommend!

When we arrived at this hotel we weren’t sure what to expect as it had only recently opened in early May, we were pleasantly surprised. We had requested something special for our anniversary which didn’t happen, however it was all special enough! We had booked a bungalow with garden view which was gorgeous, the room was so spacious and really had that “boho vibe”. The only couple of negative points with the room was no kettle (being British this is a sin!) and also not much space for hanging clothes-no wardrobe but not anything major to worry about. Our bungalow veranda was situated right across from the restaurant which I thought May be a problem but it didn’t affect us at all. The whole hotel is stunning, it all runs with the boho theme and is cool and laid back. The pool area is fantastic, set amongst trees and with a wide variety of bed choices including some incredible bean bags which you just sink into. The pool bar has lots of drink and food choices and the service around the pool was first class. A few people had complained about the music around the pool but we just found this to add to the whole vibe. Sometimes it was a “little” loud but things like that don’t bother us. Breakfast was so good! Such a big range of items and all delicious. We ate a Greek buffet in the restaurant and then had a meal on our last night-both were amazing and we wish we had eaten more times in the hotel!

The staff could not do more to help, they ensured we could move rooms on our final day as we had a very late departure (this was 20 euros however we felt it was worth it!). The bar staff’s knowledge of the drinks they create was outstanding, using local produce where possible and they even made us delicious, bespoke cocktails, we had so much fun chatting to them. Special mentions to Ismail, John, George and Xristos who were fantastic company and helped us out with local places to visit.

Overall we had such a great experience and loved every second. It has made us want to visit more Cook’s Club hotels and definitely to return to this hotel again. Thanks for the memories!

Absolutely amazing place, the space, the accommodation and even more the staff! Everyone was so helpful and pleasant from the moment me and my husband. From what started as a disappointing trip became the best thing to happen because it brought us to this place. I most definitely recommend! The breakfast was fresh every morning, we also ate at the restaurant a couple of times and were never disappointed. The room was cleaned everyday and towels replaced at your request. The pool outside is so peaceful and everything you see on the pictures is real! The staff were always very polite and really made you feel comfortable! I can’t wait to go back!

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, well-kept and the staff were great. It's very much a couple's location, and for a younger clientele. The pool area is very attractive and never any issues with getting loungers. The breakfast was pretty good. You do get a decent-sized mini fridge in the room which is big enough for water & some beer/wine ( but note the onsite shop doesn't sell any!). Some reviewers have raised the issue of music being loud around the pool; this can be the case between 1pm & 3pm but overall wasn't really an issue for us. Maybe the only issue is location: you can walk to the (very) pebbled & sand beach in 10-15 mins which is fine and there are several good restaurants on this road, but if you want to go to the centre of Ialysos or Kremasti it's a good 25 min hoof on poor roads each way. Taxis are very scarce. The hotel is very close to the airport, maybe 15 mins at most in a taxi or coach. Overall we had a very enjoyable time and would recommend this hotel. 👍☀️

The room we booked was a suite on the roof with a hot tub. There was also random wires hanging out of places in the room. Hot tub was dirty. Flies in the water and was a green/yellow tint along with a browny orange stain around areas. No smell of chlorine so I’m led to believe it’s just filled from the hose that was beside our balcony. Fridge doesn’t keep stuff cold. The shower head won’t stay held and soaked the entire bathroom the first night

The hotel has a spa, my partner and I both got treatments but they weren’t the full length of time as listed. Mine was cut by 10 minutes and my partners by 15 minutes even though we payed the full price.

The food was good, however. One night I ordered the fish. On the plate was a full portion of battered fish along with a small spoon sized amount of garlic, When I requested an extra portion of this garlic I got told they would check with the kitchen. No one ever came back to me with confirmation and I was left without any side with the food.

When you sit down for food you are given a menu and cutlery. staff come and request your room number and then you can order food. This is all normal. However, after you’ve payed at the table for your food mains the staff have no interest in you. I’ve found that every time we ate in the hotel (every day) we would have to chase after the staff to get more drinks or even order a dessert.

Every thing is a 20-30 minute taxi ride away from the hotel. Which we understood before booking and was ok with. The part we didn’t expect is that once the taxi leaves you some place. They don’t answer your calls when you look to book a ride back, the hotel won’t even answer the phone to help you. Every number we tried to ring for a taxi never answered, multiple calls to the hotel with no answer. We had to contact our travel agent who provided us with numbers to contact. Surprise surprise, again no answer. We had to get one of the locals to call us a taxi. Otherwise we were stranded. We only had two taxis that day (one that left us off and one the local had to call) and the cost was nearly €100 for a total of 40 minutes.

The actual room was clean (besides stains on the bed) and the hotel had a small shop which was handy. However we won’t be back as we didn’t enjoy our stay as we couldn’t leave the hotel due to not having the safety of returning back and getting any help to resolve any problems.

Dear Guests, Thank you for staying in our hotel and for all details you mention. Allow us to specify that all Jacuzzies are checked, cleaned & sterilized before each arrival. During the stay, customers are responsible for its correct use, according to the rules written on the sign (ex. shower before & after Jacuzzi use, no suncream or oil or bodylotions etc). And as very well known, the protective cap must be place after each use. Of course it is possible for our team to clean it again during the stay, after customer's request. The SPA is operated by external company who has rented the space. It is a good opportunity to mention also that within walking distance there are 5 different choices of restaurants for different tastes. Chinese restaurant, fish tavern, greek traditional taverns etc. The closest resort center "Ialysos" is 2km away where you can find plenty for bars, caffee, restaurants & shopping market. There is also a bus stop just 150m from our hotel and the busses pass every 30m. So, actually our hotel is located in a quite area with easy access around it. Even though the Taxi App allow us to order a taxi only to pick up customers from our hotel, and not from any other place, it sounds really strange that you could not reach us because our reception team is availble 24/7. It is very pitty that you did not mention any of these issues during your stay, to give us the opportunity to check together everything and make your holidays pleasant & comfortable. Looking forward to welcome you again The Cook's Club Ialysos Team

We stayed at cooks club end of September into beginning of October, the weather was fabulous at this time, not too hot or too cold, cooks clubs food is very nice and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, and cleaners clean your room everyday with fresh towels on request, you just need to leave them on the floor in bathroom and they will provide you with fresh, the only downside to the holiday, was that other guests would put their towels on beds or bean bags saving their space so that people didn’t have any sun for the entire day due to some guests being very greedy, as there are a lot of trees blocking the sun. It didn’t matter so much for us as we was out majority of the day, and didn’t need the beds, but we was up at 7/8am and these towels were already placed in the best spots for the sun, I think that cooks club should stop guests doing this. Anyway over all Greece was a lovely holiday.

We were there in October but as start of May is the beginning of the summer I would think everything should be open. This hotel is open to all ages but is very much geared to your age group.
