We had a lovely 6 night stay at this hotel and would recommend it as an ideal adults only place to stay for a beach holiday in Rhodes town.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was well equipped with nice toiletries, beach towels & bag, a little balcony with drying rack, good air con & clothes storage, a safe & a small fridge with some complimentary soft drinks on the first night. There was a bit of music noise from bars on the saturday night but generally it was quiet and we slept well. Although you could see the sea from the balcony, it's not really what I would consider a sea view as the hotel is set a bit further back than the hotels on the sea front.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean with hand gel available. Easy walking distance to explore rhodes town, old town, nearby restaurants & short walk to the beach. It's a pebble beach so recommend beach shoes & you have to pay to use a sunbed/umbrella on the beach (12-20 euros/day). There are handy supermarkets just over the road.
We really enjoyed relaxing around the small pool & having some drinks. It was in the shade in the morning but in the sun from around 11- 6.
All the staff were friendly and helpful & there was a great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choice.

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and given a rose and our bags were taken to our room for us.
The room was much better than the pictures suggested and had a very luxury feel to it despite only booking one of the basic hotel rooms.
The room had a very spacious bedroom area with a big double bed with plenty of pillows and was very comfy.
The bathroom was also spacious and had a very large shower with a sliding door design that meant the bathroom did not flood.
The room had a huge mirror on the wall that was very useful to get ready in.

The room itself had all that was necessary, including beach towels as well as bathroom towels, a balcony with a table chairs and a drying rack. It also had storage for luggage and a large desk with a chair as well as bedside tables with their own lights and drawers.
The room also had a complimentary mini bar which although did not contain many things, was a brilliant place to store cold drinks you have bought to have on the terrace later in the evening.
The cupboard storage was the highlight as you are given a double door hanging space as well as a double door of shelving with a safe and kettle with drinks included.
Nothing was missing apart from an iron, however the hotel does offer a laundry and ironing service which is incredible useful.
The staff were absolutely charming and always ready to help, such as we asked for more hangers and they were promptly delivered to our room.

The hotel offered a very varied breakfast with something to suit all tastes.
The restaurant and bar were also just as pleasant and offered a range of food and drinks which were very good, despite the portions being slightly large however we discovered all greek restaurants massively over serve apart from gastronomy restaurants. Our hotel drink recommendation is the Aperol Spritz!!
The hotel also offered a games room with table tennis, air hockey and a pool table, aswell as a gym and spa.

The hotels location is immaculate. You are able to walk absolutely everywhere. It is 2 mins walk from the beach and is surrounded by restaurants. There is also a supermarket located just outside which is very handy to grab some snacks, or stain remover in my case. The supermarket had absolutely everything and Lindo the man running it was lovely, helping me out with everything.
The hotel is a 2 min walk from a pharmacy and a 10 min walk from shops such as Zara.
The hotel is also about a 15min walk from the old town which is an absolutely charming area of Rhodes to go for dinner in or to have a drink. We recommend the Macaos club and Nomad Mediterranean Gastronomy as a restaurant, as their food was exquisite.

The only downside of the hotel was the cleaners who did not seem to respect the do not disturb signs and would come in despite this and forcefully clean the room when we had specified we did not walk it to be cleaned that day.
Another downside was the lack of a long mirror in the room however this is very minor.

I usually write a hotel review post holiday, however unless something dire occurs in the next few days, which I'd be very surprised about, I've decided to write now.
There are numerous reasons for my rating, I have to start somewhere so here goes.
Firstly we arrived about late evening, weary from the journey. We were met at reception by a very friendly welcome, given a glass of sparkling wine and a rose for me (it's still going). Our luggage was taken to our room and the porter checked all OK.
Our room, which is very spacious, actually smelled clean, and was spotless.
There are two double wardrobes with ample hanging space, several hangers and loads of shelves. The safe is in a good accessible place, it's free of charge and spacious.
We have twin beds, with lovely clean bedding and two pillows each one firm, one soft. The beds are really comfortable too, something you hope for but seldom get. The rooms have fridges, a kettle and mugs. Water is there for your first night as are a few other things.
The bathroom, whilst not large has a good size sink and a very large walk in shower, with a mom slip floor. There are complimentary toiletries which are good quality, as are the towels. I prefer a bath sheet towel but I simply slip on the lovely fluffy towelling robe.
We paid for a sea view and although ours is partially the town I can still see the coast and watch the ships coming in.
The hotel is B&B and particularly the cold buffet is very good, the restaurant is very clean and the staff very nice. They often run out of mugs by the drinks machine, just ask the staff who will happily assist. I particularly like the variety of fresh fruit and also the Greek section. Greek honey and yoghurt are yummy 😋.
The hotel has a small pool and pool area which we've not used. However again it's well maintained.
The location of the hotel is fabulous, it's in a quiet area but literally minutes walk in various direction ls to the port, the Old Town, the shopping area and the bars and restaurants.
Sorry to drone on but I feel the hotel deserves to be recognised.
One last thing we have a a couple of minor issues, both of which were resolved very quickly, which to me shows the quality of the hotel and staff.
We hope to return. Oh one last thing, if you stay and spot a cute little dog 🐕, she's called Molly and is adorable 💕

The hotel is in a very good location, 5 minutes walk from Elli Beach, 15 minutes from the Ambroise Gate of the Old Town, 10 minutes from the quayside where the tourist boats sail from.
It has been recently refurbished and is very clean and well maintained. We had a minor problem with our room (previous occupant had left the safe locked), they fixed it in minutes.
The staff were all very friendly, efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Top class from the lowest to the manager.
Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of choices to cater to all tastes.
The food was standard local cuisine and not overpriced.
The only negative is, if you are expecting to send the day by the pool, look elsewhere. The pool area is surrounded by high buildings (mostly the hotel) and so does not get a great deal of direct sun, even in mid-June. I don't like sunbathing so I was fine.

Just spent a fabulous 10 day holiday at this hotel, nothing is any trouble for the staff. Arrived at 5am to find glass of Prosecco and sandwiches waiting after checking.
Rooms are cleaned every day, had an inland room overlooking the Belvedere pool so quiet.
Food is divine so much choice , plates warm and loved the fact that the food was spread over a few different areas with the self service restaurant so didn’t feel crowded .
Ivana at the belevadere bar makes the best cocktails and smiles from the moment she starts her shift till the end.
Restaurant staff are great didn’t get all the names but Dora is very helpful.
Lovely beach bar with is in the underpass as you go the bar, nice to sit in the shade having a drink.
Plenty of sunbeds around the 3 pools, the large pool tends to be the busiest

Will definitely return

Stayed at Rhodos Horizon City Hotel for 2 weeks and it exceeded our already high expectations! The decor of the hotel is just beautiful and sleek while still being welcoming and a relaxed place to sit, eat and drink.

The staff were really exceptional to the receptionists, breakfast staff, cleaners, waiters and bar staff. Everyone was welcoming and happy to help in anyway! A special shoutout to the evening staff Elisa and George, an absolute credit to the hotel and there profession. We ate in the hotel most nights, we were so impressed with the menu, variety and absolute quality (and quantity) of the food, and just incredible prices. Travelling with family is hard for everyone to decide on a restaurant but everyone was happy to eat here with the variety and lovely ambience.

The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in a 'Partial Sea View Room' and the view was way better than expected. Rooms kept clean, and came with a good hairdryer and all the amenities needed. (But a floor length mirror would be the cherry on top)

The location is just amazing, 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the shopping center and about 10-15 mins to the old town!

The breakfast was super, so much selection for any eater! The fruit was beautiful, along with the honey, jams, nuts, eggs. There's also great 'English breakfast' food, the bacon and fried eggs were great.

The pool facilities were very good, we wasn't around the pool much (it isn't the hotel for that) but the size was bigger than expected and it was super super clean! And always a seat to be had around the pool too.

If you're looking to explore Rhodes, or have a chilled out holiday this hotel is a great base for any traveler. Highly recommend !!

We enjoyed our stay at the Horizon City and what makes this hotel is their staff. Friendly, warm and helpful, from the Receptionists to the Cleaners.

It's in a great location, a few minutes walk from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. It has a small pool which gets sun from around 11am onwards if you're on the right sunbed, choose wrongly you will have to wait until lunchtime. The area is kept clean and tidy and is a nice space to enjoy the sun.

The hotel is modern and well looked after. The common areas were cleaned regularly and had the cleanest toilets I've ever seen.

We stayed in the City Suite with balcony - room 106. The room was modern and clean with a very comfortable bed and overlooking the pool area. Although I would not class it as a suite, as it's too small for that. We did not get the seating area you usually get with a suite, just a small outdoor set on the small balcony, along with a couple of sun loungers.

Given the suites are meant to be more high end than the rooms, we were more than surprised that the restaurant was underneath it. What that meant is that at 7.30/8.00am you will be woken up by the staff cooking breakfast. So unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy any lazy holiday lie-ins in the comfortable bed! We knew the hotel only had two of these suites, with the other one next door, so decided to put it up with it and not go to bed too late - it is the earliest I've ever gotten up on holiday!

The amount of food available for the included breakfast was vast, so there was something for everyone. We found lunch and dinner provided ample portions at a very reasonable price, along with great service. Because of that, we were surprised to find a latte from the auto machine we use for breakfast, cost €3.50 each after breakfast hours. For that price I want it made by a barista!

We kept forgetting this is a 3 star hotel, it's definitely more 4*. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return, just not in the suites as it's too noisy and not really a suite.

Thank you to all of the helpful staff who looked after us, from checking we were ok to booking our COVID tests, you made us feel so welcome.

This is a truly amazing hotel. Starting with the very nice greeting with a glass of champaign and a rose, the overall experience was memorable. We booked a 4th floor room which had the most gorgeous view of the seaside and historical buildings. The entire staff was extremely kind and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. A very special thanks to the cleaning lady, we were impressed by the level of care she took in her daily cleaning. The breakfast was very tasty and diverse. Furthermore, this hotel has high standards regarding anti Covid measures. Also, the hotel is prefectly located, very close to the beach and also the medieval town. We cannot recommend it enough!

We stayed at the Rhodes horizon city hotel for a weeks break in May. From start to finish I can not fault the hotel or staff everything was perfect. The hotel was immaculate, staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing each morning with everything you could possibly want from hot to cold breakfast offerings.
The location was ideal, a short 3 minute walk to the beach (pebble beach) lovely 10 min walk into old town which we did every evening for dinner. So many lovely restaurants it was tough to choose! We did find that the restaurants down the side streets were better value for money than the ones in the square so well worth a wonder!
We will definitely be visiting Rhodes again and will be staying in the same hotel for sure.

We loved our stay at Rhodos Horizon City! We had a warm welcome and received a glass of champagne and rose upon arrival. The hotel was impeccably clean, the staff was amazing, and it’s in a perfect location. The room had more than enough space, bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks they had in the room. The best views are on the top floor otherwise you are looking at other buildings but that didn’t bother us as we were in the room very little. We can’t wait to come back in September!
