Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were really disappointed with the hotel. The rooms advertised are not what you actually get. The rooms shown are from the renovated floor, the majority of rooms were really old and run down. The advertising is quite deceitful. This place is not a family hotel, it’s a hostel for drunk young people blaring music at all hours and yelling in the corridors. Such a disappointment! Staff were lovely and very helpful though. Not much more to say, this wasn’t a great experience. You get what you pay for!

Written by friend who visited the hotel: The bed was wonderful. Air contioning got broken in the middle of our visit and staff said someone would come to fix it. Nobody came, temperature was over 30celsius.

There were no glasses for drinking water or for toothbushes. No shelves in the bathroom, shower space was tiny. We had to ask more toilet paper because there was only 1 cleaning (and one toilet paper roll) during our week's stay.
Top roof and the pool area would need some renovating. The elevator to see the wiew did not work all the time. One lady from the staff was really rude towards customers, when asked about later check-out. There was no toilet in the lobby area (waiting for late fligth).
Location was good. Services around hotel were good.

STAY AWAY!
Typically I don’t even write reviews, or if I write they are good ones, but this one…hell noooooo!!This hotel was a complete nightmare. I wish I have read the reviews before I booked it. First of all, when we arrived the receptionist told us that due to covid our room could not get cleaned daily although we have paid for daily room service, which was a complete lie because we have stayed in Rhodes for 2 months and changed 3 hotels that had of course daily room service. However they told us we could ask for towels and anything else at the reception so we chose to overlook this. If we knew they didn’t have enough towels and that the stuff was so rude and asked questions like: why you need more don’t you have one already? we would have left immediately. As a result we used the same towel for 9 nights which was awful. The room was also a disaster. Despite the dirt, I won’t say more, everything can be seen in the pictures below, the most annoying part was the bed! It had two mattresses per bed that felt so filthy and the wood above the bed smelled like pee!!! It was so weird. The tv was of course broken, luckily the air condition was working, however was very loud. Everything else can be seen in the pictures. Overall with 10 more euros per day you can find something much better in the city.it is so not worth it. The price per day was 42 euro not that cheap for this quality. A hostel is better! The room pictures are fake also the pool and the roof bar pictures. Booking must report this hotel ASAP.

This hotel is extremely unsatisfactory for several reasons. Firstly, if you are expecting a good night's sleep, you will be disappointed. The constant parties on the rooftop bar and in the hotel rooms make it impossible to find peace, even late at night. What's worse is that the hotel management seems indifferent to the issue and actually continues to organize these events.

Additionally, there is a significant mosquito problem in the hotel, and the windows lack mosquito nets, allowing these annoying insects to freely enter the rooms. On top of that, there is a male staff, possibly the reception supervisor or hotel manager, who has a terrible attitude problem and is extremely rude. When I complained about being assigned a room with a broken bed, he dismissed my concerns, claiming he had more important things to attend to, such as organizing the rooftop party. I had no choice but to fix the bed myself.

To make matters worse, despite paying the regular price for a double room, the hotel had some agreement issues with booking.com and falsely claimed that I had paid a lower amount. As a result, they placed me in a hostel room, which was absolutely disgusting.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. These are the honest observations and advice of a fellow traveler who has experienced the numerous shortcomings of this establishment.

This simply is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in over 50 trips to Rhodes.
I booked a double room for myself and got a single with a constant noise.after a week the room still hadn't been cleaned no fresh towels or sheets
I pointed out the issues with reception who seemed incapable of resolving,
The Manager got involved but was even worse, this guy coud'nt run a bath never mind a hotel in fact here turned out to be a incapable idiot like the rest of the staff.
Consider this a warning do not stay there as it will ruin your visit as it did mine..*Avoid at all cost !!!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Hotel Parthenon. During my month-long stay in March 2024, I encountered numerous issues that made for an extremely unsatisfactory experience. Upon checking in, I found black mold in my room, which poses health hazards, especially as an asthmatic. Throughout my stay, additional problems arose: intermittent loss of hot water, backed up plumbing flooding the bathroom, broken amenities that were not fixed for days, excessive humidity and leaks causing more mold growth, construction noise violating local ordinances, and ineffective weekly cleaning. The owner was dismissive of my complaints, offering only more expensive upgrades. After toxic mold damaged my belongings, I had to check out early. Given the unaddressed mold, noise, flooding, and lack of maintenance, I advise avoiding this unsuitable accommodation. I am now seeking a full refund.

As I wrote in the title, best receptionists and barmen ever met, always helpful and smiling.
The hotel was big with a nice pool and a full quite big bar, 2 lifts one to floors and the other to the pool.
Unfortunately hotel was quite empty because of COVID and I lost my mobile, if you get it please call this other n. +390699330179. :)

Our stay was really good in this hotel. The staff, the services, the location was 5/5. Everyone's always smiling and ready to help you. The hotel is located just 2' walking distance from the beach and the Medieval City just 10-15'. Our room was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The best option for vacations in the city centre!
