Detailed Reviews
Me and my partner stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights as a last minute holiday due to covid restrictions elsewhere.
Check in was easy, the receptionist was friendly and instructions about the hotel were explained and given to us on a piece of paper, eating times, do’s and don’t etc.
We had a room with shared pool, the back door opened out onto the pool and we had our own sun beds with a table and 2 chairs, highly recommend getting one of these rooms if you can!
The room was basic and clean, beds were comfy and there was good aircon. Because of covid restrictions you had to book 24hrs in advance to have your room cleaned which I didn’t find to be a problem, towels were replaced most days.
Food was served at the one restaurant on site, the food had to be served by staff due to covid restrictions so sometimes you would have to que up, but the que did move quite quick when there was one. I found the food to be very basic and struggled to eat as a veggie, there were few options and the quality was below average, we ate out most nights. Alcohol at the bars are locally sourced, non branded, but they do the job.. the beer is real nice. The bar and restaurant staff were all very friendly and made our stay at the hotel even better! Special shout out to Ilias on the main bar, really nice guy and whipped us up some really nice cocktails.
Location of the hotel is good, plenty of local shops and bus stops, you are situated just off of the main road which leads to the strip. It’s also about a 20min bus journey from Rhodes town.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for anybody who just wants a quick break away for a week or so. The hotel has all of the basics, in a good location and has a great bunch of staff.

I stayed for two weeks from 24th July 2022. I witnessed a complete shambles as I booked in among a party of 40 plus people. peoplewere allocated rooms then changed to different ones and some were transferred to other hotels.
My room for two people was spacious and cleaned almost every day with sheet and towels also changed. It was sparsely furnished but the air conditioning was superb.
The complex was spread over a large area and did not suit me personally as I am a senior citizen with a measure of mobility problems. However there appeared to be plenty of sunbeds dotted about. A BIG problem was somethin like a 200metres walk from the pool / beach bar to the toilets. I am an early riser and witnessed the pools being tested and treated almost every morning around 6.30am. Also surrounding area of the main pool was swept each day and was water power washed occasionaly.I agree with other guests who stress the importance of food in the restaurant having the various items labelled. I found the food good, particularly the breakfast with a reasonable variety. My party did not like the drinks being served in mini flimsy plastic beakers but it was no trouble placing them in a bag and putting in the bins before leaving sunbeds.
Entertainment was almost nothing apart from a pleasant Greek night and except for kiddies dances there was nothing, this forced people to seek enjoyment in the town which was a stroll away and in so doing paying for drinks after being all inclusive at Evita Bay.
I will not be returning to this hotel mainly because I am far too old for the boisterous nightlife of Faliraki.
I had the impression Evita Bay was a work in progress and with a driving force at the helm this hotel (with a few adjustments and some investment) could become vastly improved holiday destination

We stayed at evita bay in faliraki at the start of October, being on some faliraki Facebook groups we saw the mixed reviews and were a bit unsure about it.Normally we have obstacles that make our life a bit more difficult as most people do but there was nothing at all we checked in late at night our room was nice and we had a plate of sandwiches and a fridge with water in it excellent !! Next day we managed to upgrade to a poolside swim up room again excellent, clean and very big I also should say the cleaners come every day so everything is spotless. We arranged this with the general manager who really does look like Andrea boccelli the singer it’s mad he must be taking a break from rehearsing!!! He is a really nice fella though very helpful ! Ok the food every review I’ve read says samey! Well yes it is a bit but it’s also tasty and hot so we can’t complain. The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the main centre of faliraki or a two minute taxi ride which actually costs ten euros !!! Expensive. One thing though if you have young kids there is absolutely no entertainment at all so they will get bored but on the other hand the hotel is literally right on the beach so they do have the sand and the sea so not too bad I think. If your wondering or concerned just don’t.Ge it booked and have a great holiday !!!

The location of the hotel is great, however you can't help but sense the anger and frustration from guests and staff who have been let down by Evita Bay.
Theres a huge staffing issue at the hotel, which is very noticeable. A member of staff actually left during our stay, which added to the chaos in the restaurant.
We stayed for 1 week and during this time, we saw at least 4 families being turned away on arrival and moved to other hotels as there were no rooms available. Iv never seen anything like it. It was really sad to see and i couldn't help but feel bad for them. We actually started to feel "lucky" we had a room, which should never be the case.
The restaurant is nothing more than a canteen which lacks variation and food choices. Iv stayed in 3 star hotels which have offered more In terms of food services and drink options. As other people have stated, the food isnt labelled either so you literally dont know what your eating which is very off putting. It's also bad news for people with allergies/dietary requirements. Iv never known a hotel not to label its food, its shocking and dangerous and for this reason alone, the hotel doesnt deserve 4 stars. The food is very repetitive and isn't atall child friendly, my 2 children didn't eat hardly anything all week, other than things we bought from the supermarket, which defeats the object of paying extra for all inclusive. What's wrong with putting a pizza option on for the kids once in a while?
The owner has been very tactical when offering all inclusive here, and has made it very difficult for guests to make the most of it. Alcohol is not available in the restaurant unless your lucky enough for the 1 waitress, who is rushed off her feet, to ask if you want a wine or beer, and the daytime snacks are terrible.
They advertise a beach bar AND pool bar, when in fact they are the same bar. The most accessible bar (in reception) doesnt open untill 4pm, so no chance of a drink unless youv got the energy in 33 degree heat to walk down to the beach bar. There's also a lack of toilet facilities within the grounds of the hotel too. There's 1 set of toilets and 4 pools. More toilets should be dotted around in between the other pools as the pools arnt within very close proximity so it's a bit of a walk if you get caught short.
The owner seems to have prioritised making this hotel aesthetically pleasing before getting the basics right first, which is a shame.
Deffinalty needs work before rating itself a 4 star hotel as its just disappointing and annoying for guests who expect 4 star standards.

If the hotel was a 2-3 star I would have rated it good, but for a 4 star I am expecting much more.
Few of my complaints:
Only 1 bar open past 10pm and both bars have VERY limited choices.
Shower enclosure is terrible and just leaves your floor soaking every time you use it.
Could have been cleaner in the rooms; I don't think our floor was swept once while we were there and there's no broom to do it yourself.
I personally thought the food although a tad repetitive was OK, but several in my group with special dietary requirements struggled. If you have fussy kids you will definitely struggle. One thing that did frustrate me was none of the food was labelled so you didn't know what the meat or sauce was in most cases.
Rooms were overbooked so we were unable to change when we were given an inappropriate room, so I ended up sleeping on a bunk bed meant for kids.
As they were overbooked, we could not get a late checkout either. We really needed the late checkout as our transfer was not till 7:45pm and there are no proper shower or changing facilities elsewhere in the hotel.
There is no secure area to leave your luggage; you have to leave them in the reception lobby or there are lockers you can pay extra for that will fit hand luggage only.
You had to pay extra to use the secure box in your room.
You have to pay a deposit for a beach towel.
No locks on the toilet doors poolside.
Small vanity thing, but a full length mirror would have been nice.
Some positives:
All the staff we encountered where very friendly and helpful.
Plenty of sun loungers and they are very comfortable.
Iron was available with small deposit.
Decent number of hangers for two people (~9)
Decent sized rooms
Despite having to double up the mattress on my bottom bunk bed, it was a relatively comfortable mattress.

We bought a holiday at the Evita Bay hotel about half a year in advance, we chose a hotel with a shared pool. We arrived at the hotel around 10am and everything was going well, they told us that the room would be available around 3pm. We assumed that everything was fine and we would check in at 3pm. Around 12:00 I asked the reception if our room would be cleaned earlier and they told me that it was possible to ask around 1pm. At 1pm we were told that all the rooms were full and that we had to move to another hotel. Only after asking, we were told that the hotel is about 20 minutes from the sea. Which was unacceptable for us, because we paid for a hotel by the sea and with a shared pool. She was no longer willing to help us at the reception, so we had to deal with the delegate. Because of this we waited at the reception until 5pm after a hard day and a fligjt! Because of this, we moved to 4 hotels during the entire vacation. That day we were not the only ones who were moved to another hotel, so it happens quite often there. So be careful!!

May I start with what a beautiful location from the beach to the beach bar, the restaurant, the pool and the general cleanliness of the place I could'nt give a negative on this. The Staff were lovely and very friendly. Food was repetitive but cooked fresh each day. Hotel rooms spotless, fairly basic but comfortable bed and good shower, don't spend too much time in the room so once these boxes are ticked I'm happy and we had a beautiful view of the sea.
Location was a good 10 min walk into Falaraki however there are bars, restaurants and shops to ramble into on the way. The bar at the top of the road called JD do great food and beautiful cocktails. I loved Bar Street with its variety of bars and shops but get out of dodge from around 11pm as the young people come out to play. There is a great Irish bar Kellys at the top of Bar street, lovely beer garden and good prices and also a fab cocktail bar (don't know the name) but there is a very large bronze figure of a man at the entrance you can't miss it!!
My only gripe is we had read all the reviews about arriving and been told to go to another holiday I was stressed about this which effected the build up of the excitement you get before a trip and by the time we arrived after travelling from Dublin I was wound up so much that when she gave us our room keys I was in shock as I was so ready for an argument. So would I book this place again or recommend it based on this probably not which is a shame as we had a fabulous holiday
The feedback we got from other groups who had been moved was if you have booked more than 7 nights you may have an argument on your hands so be prepared!

I spent a week at the Evita Bay as a solo traveler for a spot of sun after finding an excellent last minute deal which I thought was be too good to be true, especially after reading some of the previous reviews.
The hotel was gorgeous, as previously written, the hotel is practically brand new. From its location with unobstructed views of the beach/ocean and its closeness to the bars and restaurants, and its idyllic pools with plenty of sun loungers, I could find no fault.
The location of my room, room 102, was immediately off of the reception and I did find the noise from the lobby from other guests and staff coming and going to be quite constant and disturbing especially later at night and early in the morning. The cleaners start mopping and dragging furniture around the rooms from 8am and it goes on for hours which I don’t think is needed when they are just mopping and swapping out towels and tidying the bedding.
The hotel staff were all lovely especially Charles the beach bar and restaurant manager. He couldn’t do enough for the guests and was always happy to chat and his choice of music for the beach bar was ace!
There are still a few areas around the estate being built and decorated so there was regular machining and drilling etc but it was in the background and easily ignored.
The restaurant food was decent with plenty of choice albeit it was sometimes a little colder than it should be.
All in I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return some day soon.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody. First of all, the hotel owner keeps overbooking the rooms. Upon arriving we were told we had to stay in the sister hotel Faliraki Bay, which is around 200m next to the Evita Resort and only a 3-star hotel. After reading several reviews of Evita Bay and talking to several other people at Faliraki Bay we learned that this happens everyday. The hotel owner blames travel organizations, however in reality he is the one behind this problem. The unfriendly owner of the Evita Bay told us we still can and must dine and drink at Evita Bay and could not eat at Faliraki Bay. This meant a 700m walk every time we wanted something to drink or eat from our all-inclusive package. The food was plain and the same everyday. Additionally, it was not labeled which makes it hard to eat for people with dietary restrictions. Also, to our disappointment, all drinks were served in single use plastic cups and there was always only one staff member working behind the bar which meant an incredible long waiting time for one drink. Furthermore, the pools at Evita Bay were always dirty, so we ended up spending most of our time at the pool in Faliraki Bay. However, most of the staff members were really friendly and Evita Bay is located central, so you don’t have a too long walk to Faliraki center.

+1
Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for 7 nights earlier this month, and we enjoyed every moment of it! The hotel itself is very modern, clean, and chic, it is a very quiet hotel, so great for relaxing. However, the location of the hotel is only walking distance from bars if you fancy a more lively atmosphere in the evenings. The food here is great, something different every day; for example, I am vegetarian, and found there was plenty of choice for me. The all-inclusive drinks are also great, beer and wine are much better than other hotels I have stayed in! The beach is also absolutely stunning :) Finally, I would say the best thing about this hotel is the staff- everybody here is so very welcoming and friendly, always keen to help and also have a laugh with you, and really do go above and beyond to ensure you have the best holiday possible.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice quiet, relaxing break- I can’t wait to revisit!
