Lovely hotel, very nicely kept house, gardens and grounds. Everything nicely decorated with high attention to detail. Pool area is very tranquil with nice views, very relaxing. It’s also nicely maintained with poolside attendant. Lovely Spa with very skilled staff. Restaurant is very nicely done, food really good quality and staff very pleasant. Staff generally at the hotel are friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. We felt very sad having to leave and looked into extending our stay. We have serious post holiday blues at home and hope to return soon!
While the grounds are beautiful, the food and the service at the restaurant near the pool was absolutely the worst. We went for a short lunch and ended up taking over an hour and a half. The pizza was microwaved quality and no taste at all. Hopefully the hotel listens to the poor reviews and does some thing about it quickly.
I love the Villa Cipriani Hotel and have stayed there for a beautiful event a few years back. The grounds are beautiful and the experience I had in the past was fantastic. Unfortunately, we decided to go here for lunch at their outdoor restaurant overlooking the hillside and poos, and soak in the beautiful views. That's were the fun ended.. The hotel is severely understaffed and we waiting 90 minutes for sandwiches and pizza. The pizza was probably the worst I've ever tasted. Stouffer's frozen pizza would've been a better choice. After waiting 90 minutes for our friend's pizza was forgotten and it took another 20 minutes. Once the pizza was ready, the waitress walked back and forth and left the pizza out by the kitchen as she couldn't make the decision or priority to bring the overdue pizza to our guest. I was so embarrassed that I went up to the outdoor kitchen and picked up the pizza myself. Of course it was cold and we decided to leave. There were 8 of us and the bill came to about 350 Euro. Definitely not worth it for a casual lunch. I'm giving 2 points instead of 1 as we complained to the manager and they only charged us 3 euro each for the service charge. Of course they blamed Covid, but other restaurants serve fantastic food with great service without this excuse. This was such a turnoff that I will never go back for lunch.…
What a treat! We could have stayed in Asola forever. The hotel has a great history that stretches from Robert Browning to the Guinness’ to the hotelier Cipriani of Harry’s Bar fame. Wonderful property that will not disappoint! Enjoy the gardens and let your cares melt away.
This is a classic hotel in a fantastic location at the top of Asolo. Rooms are fine. Old school charm. But what makes Villa Cipriani special is its beautiful garden with lovely views down the hill. It is a very peaceful place to enjoy a meal or a drink, sit by the pool or just unwind. The town is a 5 minute walk down the hill and is very charming, with many shops and restaurants. I’d read it can get quite overrun by tourists but we did not experience that. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and a spa, in addition to the pool. It’s a very charming and relaxing place.
For several years now, this has been a bypass point during our family vacation in Italy. We are traveling with our two daughters, 11 and 10, and we are all delighted with the service, content, food. Compliments
Spent a wonderful few days here in August. The staff were wonderful, the garden and pool divine and the room spotless. Everyone dealt really well with Covid and we felt throughout we were safe and in safe hands. The only thing that we weren't happy about was the charge to park the car in the hotel garage, which was actually more than it cost to hire the car
What we lieber liked:Great location with wonderful view from the pool in the garden, comfortable pool chairs, hotel in walking distance from the charming old city of Asolo What wi did not like: Very sorry to say but the service was totally bad (chaotic and hectic organisation of the breakfast, no introduction at the checkin, very unfriendly checkout, reception staff not helpful). Extra charge of EUR 24 per day for garage parking ridiculously high and the car was even parked outside not in the garage. Shower in the bathroom overfloated regulary. Prices at the pool restaurant way too high for quality. German TV channels don't work.
The location, staff, beautiful hotel and surrounding grounds are wonderful. We had a car and the parking was very convenient. We had a terrace room and the views were amazing! We ate dinner both nights in their restaurant and truly enjoyed the food, the wine and the kind attentive staff. We were helped with a wine tour and given help with the surrounding sites to visit. We highly recommend and will return ourselves in the future.
This hotel had beautiful grounds, including a lovely pool with gorgeous vista. It is very close to town (we walked). We stayed in room 406. The staff was very attentive. It is the perfect place to relax after a walk around the town.
