We booked the rooms (2 rooms as our kids are 20 and 14) directly with the hotel 3-4 months in advance. No booking fees required and you could change the amount of days if you announce receptionist 24h in advance.
Is an old mill in a secluded area, with very nice surroundings but

Big expectations not met at this 4 star hotel. With only some 15 rooms we expected a more personal service that we are used to in small boutique hotels, but here you felt like a Chain hotel where you got what you ask for (except the welcome drink as promised), but no more. Rooms

Good afternoon, I saw in recent reviews that the WiFi wasn’t working. I am coming to visit and I’m staying in your hotel as from the 4th of August, and I will really need WiFi access. Will it be fixed by then ? Many thanks
Hello, the problem is that the hotel is in a hollow and wifi comes and goes. When we were there it was no signal at all for the three days, bur they were working on it.... If you are dependent on wifi I would suggest staying somewhere else. Ha a nice trip to chianti! Fellow TA-traveller

How did you get to the local wineries? We have booked our stay there for 3 nights and would like to take 2 wine tours. We are not renting a car.
Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for your kind request, you may book a tour with driver to visit the local wineries. If you kindly give us your e-mail address we can send you a price list and we can book it for you. You can also write us at our mail. Looking forward to hear from you, we remain at your disposal for any further information. Best regards Reception staff

Thankyou for responding to my question about public transportation to your Hotel. I guess it looks like we will need to rent a car. Do you have any suggestions for a car rental company in Siena near the train station that we can rent a car from? If so can you please provide their info so that we can book a car. Once we can book a car then we will reserve your Hotel. Is your Hotel easy to find? How would you suggest locating your hotel. Some reviews I read said it was a little difficult to find it. Also could you help us book some wine tours if we have a car. Thanks Alan Chris Molner
Dear Mr Molner, the car rental agency in Siena are Avis and Herts, they are a bit far from Train station, you can take a taxi to get them. You can book the car by the website of the societies. Our hotel is in the nearby of Gaiole in Chianti, if you send me an email to our direct email, we send you an attchaed file with driving indications and a list of wineries. Best regards

Hi,we are looking to book April 28,29 and 30. If we take a train to Siena is there a easy way to get to the Hotel? Do we need a car? I read that you provide a shuttle, can we be picked up? Is there any public transportation available to get to the Hotel? Bus,Train? Also where does the shuttle bus take guests to? Will the Hotel make arrangements for us to visit a winery?Thankyou Alan Chris Molner
Dear Mr Molner, It is not so easy to get the hotel by public transportation, we usually advice our guests to rent a car, it is the best way to explore the zone of Chianti. If you prefer we can arrange for you shuttle service from the Siena train station to the hotel, the price is about euro 50,00. In order to visit wineries, we can book for you visits, if you have a car, or a tour with driver if you do not have a car. You can visit 2 wineries in Halfday tour from euros 170 for 2 people. Hoping to have helped you, we remain at your disposal Best regards
