I stayed at Villa Cappuccina in the beginning of July 2019 along with my daughter and her cousin. We all had the same reaction on this place. Beautiful and comfortable. There is also a big and fantastic pool. The owners were really nice. I will certainly return!!! Thank you for our wonderful stay. Lisa

A beautiful villa, restored and decorated with attention to detail. Very nice host with great suggestions for restaurants etc. The villa is a convenient location as a starting point for day tours (with a rental car) to the beautiful beaches and Baroque cities (Modica, Ragusa, Noto, Syracusa, ...) in the area. Great pool to relax after a day of exploring the Southeast of Sicily. Nice breakfast with local products. We will be back!

The place is magical, unique in every way. We spent there wonderful time and we were sad to leave. The place is beautiful. The architecture of the place, the decoration with a great attention to every detail, makes stay there a feast for the senses. The owner is a very nice, hospitable person. He took great care for us in the very non-intrusive manner. The pool, the garden are exceptional. We could stay there all day. If you have a car, the place is a great base point to visit all interesting places in this part of Sicily. Our dog loved the place. It is hard to find thing we did not like. The place is on such a high level of fineness that the breakfast could be more interesting - with local products, more varied. It was good, we could not complain, could be better. In our room we had some problems with wifi (it disconnected quite often) but it was just a small detail. The place is wonderful.

Very nice place close to Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Syracuse. The type of place for 1-2 nights if you do a tour in Sicily. Amazing pool and very nicely decorated rooms. Very clean and worth the value. The owner is very nice willing to offer reccommnedations for food & trips so do ask about it. The breakfast ws ok-ish (- suggestion I would have would be to add some vegetables and ham - this is more European, as Italian breakfast is mpre cookies and coffee but I must be honest, we prefere more salty style of breakfast. Very nice pies some of the days. I loved the garden and the details. Make sure to ask for the adress or coordinates as we arrived late at night and it took us about 15 mins to find the place.

We stayed here for 3 nights, our only regret it wasn't longer. You could stay here and do day trips to all the local towns. Breakfasts overlooking the country side were sublime.we were privileged to be invited to Giovanni's home for a real Sicilian meal. Mouthwatering dinner, fabulous company. A memory forever.

Villa Cappuccina is an authentic building fro the 1920'ies, turned into a splendid B&B. It is run by a family who lives there too. The gardens and swimming pool are well maintained and the athmosphere is generally splendid. On top of that, Modica is an ideal place to start a discovery of the south-eastern part of Sicily, with Noto, Ragusa, Syracusa, etc.

Not pleasant stay in that B & B: - 69 euros for a room in a pool house rather than in the villa (like we can expect from the pictures and the name of the place "villa cappuccina") is too much: owners should be clear about what room we get. - we have been upgraded for the first night because we complained about that but not the second night so we decided to leave and the owner refused to give us the money back. - 3 euros for renting a towel for the swimming pool is exaggerated - the villa is in the middle of nowhere in the country side - no local food in the breakfast, only industrial food

We stayed 5 nights in Villa Cappuccina in a small house next to the villa. The villa and swimming pool are gorgeous, very well located to explore the cities around (Modica, Scicli, Ragusa, Syracuse). Giovanni and his wife were very nice hosts, always their to help out and give advise!
