Perched at a height of 1600 metres, the Peisey-Vallandry resort embodies the convivial heart and soul of the mountains of Savoy. Close to dramatic streams and lakes and bordering a forest of larch and spruce, the two chalets of the Club Med Village, combine traditional materials with the refinement of contemporary design. The Club Med Village's location at the entrance to the Vanoise national park makes Peisey-Vallandry the ideal base for a weekly expedition to try out whitewater sports.

Club Med Peisey-Vallandry in the French Alps offers a prime ski-in ski-out location, highly praised by guests for its convenience and the nearby village charm. However, some travelers feel the hotel's value doesn't match its high cost, describing the experience as merely average.
The rooms are generally regarded as comfortable, yet noise can be an issue for some guests. While the array of activities and the staff's hospitality receive accolades, there are calls for improvement in food service, equipment handling, and occasional service delays, particularly at the bar.

Hotel's Favourite
This is our 2nd Club Med and preferred to last year. The ski resort is great - lots of nice blues, if that's your level. ESF instructors much better here - thank you Hugo! He was a dream, 'read the room'very well on what WE wanted rather than dictated, often asked about energy levels, didn't push if we didn't want to but made it interesting, took time with the less able to actually teach rather than just guiding the group down a slope. Very good!
The food was excellent. Good restaurant quality, huge amounts of variety, changing every day. A small request would be a better salad bar (more of it, more variety).
Unfortunately I don't think the fitness lady enjoys her job, maybe just not enough people but she didn't seem very happy and the classes could do with some work.
We had a balcony family room - very nice, ok view, would have been tight for 4 people, lots of storage and nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. House keeping very good.
Nice entertainment in the evening, would have liked the disco earlier, too pooped by 22.30!
Pool and saunas could do with an update- not very inviting, comfortable and would like to share sauna/steam room with husband at end of day rather than gender separate.
Inclusive wine - with option to upgrade for a cost - also very welcome. Inclusive cocktails were OK.
Overall, really lovely holiday

Best Club Med we have ever been to (been more than 10 years). Staff excellent. In particular: the kitchen and restaurant staff who helped us blow up balloons and provide gluten-free cakes to celebrate 9 significant birthdays (the chefs and also Mac who sung an amazing Happy Birthday for 9 of our party); housekeeping (who worked around my injured husband); and Silvio in Guest Relations who helped with the admin after my husband’s accident. I’ve had many complaints over the years with Club Med (never staff related but mainly bedroom quality and noise related) - this year I am relieved to say the holiday was excellent and, whilst more expensive, was true value for money.

We have just come back from an amazing ski holiday from ClubMed Peisey-Vallandry.
We are a family of four with two kids and this is our second ski holiday.
The hotel is in a glorious setting In the village of Peisey, Les Arc. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed in a chalet style gorgeous hotel complete with funky coloured sofas and a roaring fireplace. Sophie (front of house) was full of enthusiasm, friendliness and knowledge. All the staff were very welcoming from bar staff, restaurant, entertainment to ski staff.
Rooms:
Contemporary, clean and modern with room dividers in family rooms
Bathroom modern and clean with bathtub
Tea and coffee facilities
In room safe
Small balcony overlooking resort.
Hotel
Tea and coffee machines (Lavazza) placed around for guests to help themselves
Canapés, teatime treats at 4pm (when ski lessons end)
Delicious Drinks and canapés before dinner in lobby
Nice Spa and indoor & outdoor heated swimming pool facilities good with 2x saunas and steam room for guest use
Ski
Boot room located on 2nd floor with lockers and accessible areas leading straight into ski in and ski out area
Fantastic resort with blue slopes for beginners and first class levels as well as a good amount of red slopes
Chairlifts and draglifts nearby to visit Les arc area
Ski instructors were all friendly and great
My instructor was Frederick who spoke good English and was a very good at teaching. He had good patience and was intent on teaching good techniques. He was encouraging all the time. We had a great group who were friendly and there was good comraderie between us all.
My husband’s instructor (Gui) was also great and taught my hubby well and so he was onto red slopes and enjoyed time with his group.
The kids were in ski school too with equally great instructors who were kind and considerate to each child’s needs. (Hugo) really looked after my son who had bumped his head whilst skiing.
Overall a great second ski experience with fantastic ESF instructors.
We would definitely return to this hotel as we had an excellent ski holiday and we couldn’t fault anything.

We have stayed in a lot of Club Med ski hotels but this one is the best from both the Hotel point of view and also the location with respect to the various ski areas.
Situated next to one of the village chair lifts but also the Vanois Express which makes skiing in La Plagne as easy as Vallandry / Les Arcs.
Common areas very spacious. Plenty of room for seating in a number of areas for different size groups. Food very good, plenty of variety. Staff excellent including the more domestic staff (waiters and bar staff) who go out of their way to help. Rooms very spacious. Ours included a seating area and size would put some of the traditional ski apartments for 4 people to shame.
Entertainment typically Club Med so might not be to everyones taste.
Highly recommended.

This place was recommended by a travel agent in Australia, I put 100% trust in them as the lady couldn't stop raving about it, but I was nervous as I had never heard of the place. We are a young family of 5, children 6,5 and 3 , the children had never seen snow. What a top spot. We couldn’t have planned a better holiday, from the afternoon apres with fondue, open bar and live dj, to the kids club putting on so many wonderful things for the kids including amazing ski lessons, to nights set up in the reception area with bouncy castles etc. Our two boys who had never seen snow went to lessons everyday, they moved up and on the last day went on the mountain with my husband and I and woah! I got left in the dust, literally, no friends on powder day, they were skiing twice as fast as I could and left me to conquer Les Arcs with their dad and absolutely smashed it.
We were all so tired from the big travel journey from Australia and a week in Finland so we didn’t stay up late enough to enjoy the shows but the 7 days we had there was worth every single penny without even making it to the shows, they would’ve been a bonus on top.
We travel a lot and I can honestly say this Club Med spot is the best ski in and ski out accommodation we have ever stayed at, out of the locker room with a cheeky schnaps and straight to the chairlift 1600+ M up the mountain.
The staff were amazing, especially the kids club staff and the MD they were always happy and genuine.
Book your holiday, you will not regret it.

Very beautiful ski resort, everything is new, modern, and upscale. Food is amazing, premium quality, and has huge variety! Everyone at the resort is very committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible from the moment one enters the resort. Great ski ESF coaches! Ski equipment renting is way too expensive, bring your own!

My younger brother (10 years old) and I (24 years old) just returned home from Peisey Vallandry after a weeks vacation. The stay was fabulous and we were both very very disappointed when the holliday came to an end.
First of all the GO were amazing. They helped out with everything we needed. We enjoyed their company all week long.
The GO at the mini-club were so good that when I asked my younger brother what he enjoyed most he said it was either the mini-club or the ski. Every morning he wanted to get up earlier so that he wouldn’t miss a second at the mini-club and every time he finished skiing he kept asking if he can stay there. All this even though he doesn’t speak neither French nor English and is all thanks to the great hard working GO who played with the children and organized special activities that the children really enjoyed.
I would like to make a special thanks to Om, Elodie, Dodo, Antoine, Pierre, Chiara, Lucas and especially to Baptist (who my brother referred to him as “my friend” all week long) for the time you spent with him that made him so happy and kept him smiling and laughing.
The ski resort was great as well. The location of the club allows you to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne easily and always find your way back to the club very easily using the signs.
We enjoyed everything at the club: the swimming pool, gym, the ping pong tables, rooms, the amazing food (especially the pizza) and the marvelous evening shows that were always something to expect!
I would recommend the stay to anyone looking for both a great skiing experience and an outstanding surrounding with wonderful people!
Thank you very much Peisey! We have already opened our diaries to book a date to be back next year.

Wonderful, unique experience. Of course, the cost ends up not being low, but the quality of service, cuisine, ESF classes, convenience, rooms, and room cleaning are worth every price. The team of GOs are surprisingly very cheerful! I recommend it 100%. For beginners in SKi, I think Peisey's choice is great. The Resort is well located. Great slopes for beginners and it's not that crowded. I recommend filling out the information they request before arrival so that when they arrive they already have their equipment in the lockers. Saves time and queuing. Transfer offered upon purchase is also great. Punctual, very correct, both on the way there and on the way back. If you want private lessons, it would be nice to book them in advance so that you can guarantee a time with the teacher you would like to take a class with. I recommend my teachers. Professor Remi and Professor Yohan. Yohan taught my 14 year old son's group, an amazing teacher. According to my son, he has an eagle eye to correct every type of mistake you make.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time. The value for money is good/ok (food, drinks, ski equipment). However there were a few things that didn't work for us at all.
The internet connection was very slow. We asked to have our room checked for it and twice a technician came to only disappear again without solving the issue. At the end we upgraded to a faster connection for an extra cost, but even with the upgrade it was not a fast experience at all.
The first few days the hotel felt very cold. I complained about it and only when more guests arrived it started to feel comfortable.
We had to fly back home a day earlier and the reception was not very pro active helping us to get the transfer to the airport arranged. We were given an email address for the taxi company to basically sort it out ourselves although we originally booked transfer with Club Med. It took several days before the taxi company finally confirmed that the transfer will take place a day earlier than originally booked.
The biggest bugbear was the SPA/Pool:
the water in the pool was too cold, the women sauna was not hot (Men's sauna was working fine) and the signature treatment (body scrub with massage) was a total disappointment. I didn't have the impression that the therapist had a clue what he was doing. He was only interested to sell me skin products at the end of the session. I was also surprised to see a "qualified" massage therapist serving pancakes with Nutella in the evening at the bar. But he definitely did a better job with the pancakes. I suggest he sticks with that.
Overall I would say that this resort is great for families with children, food in the restaurant is good, drinks on offer are also good, don't expect too much from the front desk /reception (they only manage check-in/ checkout, final invoice) and save your money with the spa ... I know it's disappointing for a sport's hotel.

Dear Mrs Sabine Duggal, Thank you for choosing our village of Peisey Vallandry as your family holiday destination. Thank you for taking the time to share your stay with us at Club Med de Peisey-Vallandry. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We are sorry to hear that the reception service did not live up to your expectations and we are surprised by your comment regarding the efficiency of the staff. A refund of the unused service of 290€ has been made, and afterwards an accompaniment from our teams has been proposed to you in order to facilitate your return trip. As far as the Spa service is concerned, we have taken into account your remarks and have passed them on to the department concerned. Please note that we are committed to our values of hospitality, generosity and comfort. We also strive to offer you a top-of-the-range service that meets your every expectation. We also take into account your comments regarding the energy efficiency of the club. This decision was taken in response to the government's request to reduce mass energy consumption for the winter of 22/23. Despite this perfectible experience, I hope to have the pleasure to meet you again in one of our villages The Welcome and Services team Club Med Peisey Vallandry
