One of the most important condition for anyone traveling is the safety and trust that the hotel can provide. If a security guard would cheat it's guest, how much can you trust to stay even in the most wonderful resort.
The hotel, amid it’s many facilities, failed horribly with just this point to note. And I’m not even going into the other misgivings we had.
We had to drag our luggages up a steep slope to a building about 150m away, take the lift to the 4th floor and then heft our luggages up a flight of stairs to the 5th floor where our room was located because there was no bell hop in evidence. Although the room was spacious with a spa bath, it had limited amenities since we were told that the spa bath was not working. Ironically, our group of 14 who had 7 rooms all had 'defective' spa baths. It was only after checking out that we were told that we had to pay to use the spa bath in our rooms?????? and to add insult to injury, we saw lifts on the other end of the building that actually served 5th floor rooms!!!!!
Though dinner and breakfast buffet servings had a wide variety of dishes, there were just too many guests crowding around the counters. Again, unsurprisingly both dinner and breakfast dishes appear to be the same.
As we were on a tour, it is unlikely that we would stay in this supposedly 5* hotel with 2* amenities.
