This is a terrific B&B/ holiday let (depends on the season). I highly recommend staying here if you can get a room! Caroline and Suzy are really fun hosts and terrific at helping set up spur of the moment experiences like a Helitour of a glacier with a tea, hike and jet boat day trip. You’re located in a residential part of town a couple of blocks from the lake so it’s walkable but out of the busy touristy area. I loved it!

We loved our one night here. Suzy snd Caroline are absolutely hysterical! Great breakfast and a very nice room. They are full of great ideas as to where to hike and eat. We had to leave because NZ was approaching total lockdown, but if we ever get back to Wanaka, we will try to stay here!

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this B & B. Suzy and Caroline are terrific hosts warm and welcoming with lots of great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. On a 6 week tour of NZ Lake Wanaka was one of our favourite places and Suzy and Caroline added to the enjoyment with their local knowledge. We would thoroughly recommend.

Caroline and Suzie were brilliant! With so much enthusiasm and love for what they do ensured we had a delightful stay. They helped organise a wonderful Eco Tour for us and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Sharing our breakfast time with other visitors from around the world was a pleasure as Caroline and Suzie ensured their hosting professionalism brought us all together.

The apartment is huge and very modern yet comfortable furnished. Especially the laundry facilities came in very handy for us. The view from the patio is absolutely stunning! Caroline and Suzie are very friendly hosts with whom we enjoyed a great chat during the delicious breakfast. Thanks to their recommendation we did the wonderful Rocky Mountain walk. All in all we had a perfect time and wished we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at Criffel Peak View for two nights and were really happy with our stay. Caroline and Suzie were perfect hostesses and the room was comfortable. My wife being dairy free was no problem and we enjoyed the breakfasts, including fruit and bacon and eggs dishes. Plenty of eateries within walking distance for the evening. We had a nice cycle along the lake shore with hired bikes for the day and wish would could have spent more time in Wanaka. We are very sorry to hear about the current weather issues and hopefully it will be business again as usual as soon as possible for the town.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the small queen room for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Caroline greeted us enthusiastically as soon as we pulled up and insisted on sharing tea with us on the patio under the blooming wisteria. She took time getting to know us before launching into an array of possible activity and dining options. Suzie and Caroline are consummate hostesses. They are excellent at introducing guests to each other, always using our names, and so, so friendly. Breakfast was enormous. I made the mistake the first day of assuming muesli was the only offer (along with yogurt, fruit salad, coffee), and ate so much there was no room left for the eggs, bacon, and toast second course! The house was so nice to have, we ate dinner in and watched movies on our iPad one evening. Even though the room is called the “small queen room”, it was plenty big enough for us with our two large backpacks and two small packs. Excellent location, easy walking distance to Mt Irons and town. We departed with hugs all around and can’t wait to return.

I stayed in the self catering apartment for 26 days. It ticks all the boxes in terms of amenities and to give a sense of its usefulness I ate on the terrace over looking East Wanaka every night. Once you have established where to buy your ingredients from its a doddle. In that regard New World, The Med Shop and Pembroke Patisserie covered all the bases. For longer stays its worth reminding ourselves that eating in slashes the daily costs and one can eat in a really special location with far better views than the majority of eateries in Wanaka. However the real point of this review is Caroline and Suzie remind you that knowledge is power and they have the knowledge to really enrich your stay. They live the Kiwi dream so if you want to dig deep into all New Zealand has to offer they are your gateway. Despite five previous years in Wanaka I hiked/tramped a range of tracks for the first time because they were able to offer first hand experience and recommendations with real knowledge. This becomes that more valuable when Wanaka as a destination is beginning to feel a little like Queenstown with "Instagram" destinations with heavy footfall. Finally my personal thanks to both for offering a wonderful joie de vie through out my stay and the practical support of three drop offs and placement of vehicles for the end destination on one way Hikes. I wish them every success in the coming year.

Staying with Caroline & Susan was refreshing and fun. They were outgoing, friendly and eager to give recommendations for things to do and places to visit (the dinner recommendation for Kika was simply fantastic). Breakfast was always unhurried and perfect for a pleasant chat with both of them. The room we stayed in was cozy, tidy and quiet. We really did enjoy staying here.

This is a great B&B - located a short walk from the town centre where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. It’s well furnished and really comfortable place to spend a couple of nights. Caroline, the owner was super helpful and greeted us with tea/coffee and biscuits when we arrived and gave us loads of recommendations on what to do and see during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place.
