We have had an opportunity to use this Villa both in the height of winter and summer. What a fantastically affordable accomodation!. It is within 2 minutes drive of the lake front so we went boating in summer and it was at equidistance to the two skifields of Cardrona and Treble Cone. This Villa is hugely spacious. It could easily accommodate two families each with 3 to 4 children if need be. Its great for just couples because of the house's expansive open plan design. We just loved opening up the huge bifold doors ( ones in the dining room and those in the lounge) to the view of the snow capped mountains and all those blossoming cherry trees (hence Orchard Road) during our Spring skiing trip. The day starts well when you pull back the curtains in the upstairs master bedroom and you open the balcony doors to view the mountain vista and inhale the crisp clean mountain air. Apart from birdsong it is oh so quiet. This house (No 18) is incredibly functional and well designed. It has an easy courtyard for the 4WD. We could park at least 2 vehicles side by side, unload our snowboards and lock them in the heated ski cupboard. The house has a large verandah to give us protection against any inclement weather whilst unpacking. The house is naturally warm from the all day sun but is made even warmer by the powerful gas fire that heats both the larger dining and living room area. We can easily dry our ski gear ready for the next day. The well appointed kitchen with the usual appliances such as a dishwasher, backs onto the dining room so those on kitchen duty do not miss out on the dining room gossip. They have a Barbeque conveniently located outside the kitchen should the desire to offload the cooking from the stove occurs. There is a large dining room table that managed to fit twelve of us, during a summer trip to this villa. The heated floors and powerful showers (the master bedroom has an ensuite) soothe the achy bruises from contact with an icy ski slope. There is a bathtube spa in the upstairs bathroom but We never had an opportunity to use it. As with our Wanaka holidays we hit the beds exhausted and I am pleased to see they provide crisp linen and a variety of duvets for winter or summer . They have great wardrobe space so that we were not tripping over open suitcases. I should mention that there is a great coffee shop and artisan food store called Florences within the villa complex, 2 minutes walk from our house. The breakfast or quick coffee fix needed before travelling out and about was irresistable. We have loved coming back to Wanaka, time and time again and principally with the thought of coming to use the villa here. It is so convenient for the things we love to do in the south. We thoroughly recommend it (although we recognise by publicly endorsing this villa we are going to make it harder for us to book it next season!).

Ideal accomodation for a wedding on site. Plenty of room and kitchen is well set up. Shared bathroom for upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs one room has ensuite which leaves the 4th bedroom looking for a bathroom to share. Enjoyable stay here with everything we needed, but some of the equipment is a bit tired. Plates and cutlery ready for an upgrade with some mismatched. Dishwasher overdue for a clean. Great BBQ area but some of the outside furniture also due for replacement. Would definitely stay again.

(This is NOT a hotel. It is a vacation rental that is listed on RCI (Resort Condominiums International). It may be listed on other vacation rental sites as well, but our source is RCI.) This is a 2-bedroom unit, single story, located on beautiful grounds, just minutes away from beautiful Lake Wanaka. The units are spacious and comfortable, with a private patio and parking for one auto. It has a bbq grill, which we did not use, full kitchen, TV, weak pay-for wifi (not listed in the condo description that's left in each rental/trade we've ever occupied - ask the rental agent downtown.) The units are furnished with ample towels (there were only two of us, and we didn't use them all), kitchen supplies, soaps, shampoos, etc. Everything was clean. Looks like our unit might have been freshly painted inside. Linens and bed coverings were good and comfortable. The unit was perfect for us, and it was a great base from which to explore Wanaka, Queenstown, and other fairly local areas. The condo complex was quiet, with mostly permanent residents, and well spaced on large acreage. There is a gym room on-site with good equipment and an on-site laundry. The people we met there (permanent residents) were friendly and helpful. Our only complaints were ... The check-in location was not fully described in our confirmation documents. It's in a building across from New World grocery store, but there is no unit number on the address. The building houses several shops and services. ... It took us several hours to figure out how to make the TV work. There are three items - the TV, the Sky TV box, and a blu ray box, and all three have to be correctly turned on in order to receive TV. ... The rental agent gave us a little business card describing the wifi, but she also gave us several other papers (as usual), so that little card got lost in the shuffle. The wifi information should be in the condo "instruction" booklet that's always left there. ... Overall, we felt the condo "instruction" booklet was quite inadequate.

We stayed here over Easter for the Air Show. Wewere in Villa 18 and found it wonderful for our needs. It was large and spacious and fully self contained. There is a tennis court and spa and it is right next door to the wonderful Florence cafe. We will definitely return.
